My mother died unexpectedly and very tragically leaving behind a situation that needed a professional cleaning to remove blood. Servpro in South Huntington responded quickly and within hours I had an estimate for the job. Technicians Nick and Keyvon were not only extremely professional but were compassionate, patient, and respectful of my mothers home. They protected her floors and moved all furniture for safe keeping. While cleaning they found an expensive ring and made sure I had it in my possession. When talking to Nick and Keyvon about the situation they had to clean, they gave us their full attention and were extremely supportive and compassionate towards us. After the job was completed Nick and Keyvon put everything back in order and removed all debris. Before leaving they inspected their work, and even got down on their hands and knees to make sure everything was cleaned. Before leaving we offered Nick and Keyvon a substantial tip and they would not take it. We even offered to buy them lunch and coffee for the road and again they would not accept. They parted with very kind words and offered their condolences. I can not say enough how Nick and Keyvon made a horrible situation easier to deal with. While this is my second review, I had the bad fortune of having a basement flood last week. Having used this company before on two occasions, I must say that they did not disappoint in nay way on the third. I think that it is most important for a company to communicate in addition to providing impeccable service. In this respect, we received calls in advance of when they would arrive which was VERY fast, what the process entailed (we were not at the home) and billing estimate. Prices for this non insurance issue were reasonable and as always work was done in a professional manner including sanitizing the basement floor. I will always use ServePro of North Huntington for any issue they are qualified to respond to. Unfortunately I had a puff back at my home which caused extensive damage in my basement and the two floors above it. It was awful! My family and I used Servpro earlier this year after an incident occurred at our home days before Christmas. We had a young baby and a toddler and did not know where to turn as we were immediately displaced just prior to the Holidays. Dave was professional, knowledgeable, and despite being at one of the most heartbreaking times of our lives, Dave put us at ease as we embarked on the difficult days ahead. Dave, Mike and their entire crew became family to us and went above and beyond. Even during the holiday season, when other businesses would close and lose contact for weeks - Dave and his team worked countless hours and spoke to us daily providing support and also helped us navigate other complex issues that we were dealing with. They cared about our situation and did everything to help. Dave was the nucleus with handling all of the contractors and it relieved so much stress off of us during displacement. His superb project management skills are unmatched. Dave called daily with detailed status reports and every promised deadline was reasonable, truthful and executed on-time.
