She definitely builds rapport with her clients very easily. After she was finished with my two block, we went straight to the chemical perm. The results came out great and she did phenomenal making it look natural. I went back to her a few more times before I ended up moving out of the IE. Aimee and her team did the hair and makeup for our wedding this year and were absolutely fabulous - if I could give them more than 5 stars I would!! I couldn't have been more happy with my own bridal look. Aimee was incredibly thoughtful and helpful when exploring and working through my preferences at our trial, and now all the photos I get to look back on truly feel like the most beautiful photos I've ever taken. I can also vouch that there wasn't a single one of us - bridesmaids and moms included! - that didn't look beyond stunning, and I've been in bridal parties where my h&mu didn't quite make me feel like myself! Needless to say, we were all blown away by the quality of the work :) Lastly, Aimee (and her whole team!) were simply kind, genuine, and SO comfortable to talk to. That said, even though my girls had a blast gabbing with all their artists the morning of, when I myself was feeling anxious, Aimee knew exactly how to make sure I took the space I needed. I cannot recommend Aimee enough for hair and makeup! From the very beginning, she was amazing to work with. I did a trial run with her, and she truly brought my vision to life. She enhanced my features beautifully while still keeping everything natural. I'm not used to wearing heavy makeup, and she made sure I didn't feel cakey at all. For my trial, she started at 9am, and I had my bachelorette party later that evening and my hair and makeup lasted all night! That alone gave me so much confidence going into the wedding day. On the wedding day, everything was absolute perfection. My hair and makeup looked flawless and held up throughout the entire night. I felt so confident and beautiful, and it was exactly what I had envisioned. Aimee was phenomenal for getting me ready for my wedding day! The experience alone was a blast and relaxing. It was like a fun girl's day. I traveled to California from Florida for our wedding, never meeting her until wedding day, with just a few emails back and forth with ideas, and she was everything and more. Not only being one of the sweetest people, she is extremely experienced at hair and makeup. I can't forget to mention that my hair and makeup was flawless for over 10 hours of photos, a waterfall mist, snow, and hiking. Aimee was amazing to work with! Love her! I am the type of person who isnt super girly and doesnt really know what I want. Aimee helped me find what look I wanted for my wedding day and made me feel super comfortable with the WHOLE process. Aimee did 4 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, mother of the groom and myself. That's just a small part of how awesome my experience was with her (and Karen her 2nd artist). Aimee is so talented. A true artist.
