They truly did their due diligence with keeping the historic touches as focal points. The staff is mostly friendly. Just order your stuff and find a seat and ignore whatever is going on with the ones that are not. The food, coffee and ambience should be enough. In fairness to them, English speaking bakeries do it too but in English. The staff speak some English making it a bit difficult to find out what it is or if you have allergies whether or not to avoid it. The staff is friendly. The prices are standard bakery prices. I had the conejo and Berlin crema which are the exact same thing but different presentation. I had the erizo which you need a fork to eat. I did not know that and it is like trying to eat chocolate cake with your hands (if you did not get the fork).
