Settimi (means 7) is located near Tommy Bahamas store on St. Armonds circle. They carry more than a dozen flavors and make gelati on the premise in the back. They offer cones and cups (3 sizes). I've tried pistachio, almond joy, coconut and rum raisin so far and have liked them all. They were refreshing and not overly sweet. I usually walk around the Circle with my gelati but there are a handful of tables in the back if you prefer. Their prices are comparable to other stand alone creameries. They also offer a selection of smoothies. Their credit card charges must be above $5 and their medium cup with 2 scoop is about $5.30. Enjoy! read more

Smaller space so distancing can be a little tough unless you wait outside, seems like most people have been doing this when I've visited. This was our first visit and we were pleased. My children have never had gelato. And I've only had it in Rome when hubby and I were jet setting through Italy. The Gelato was very good and creamy. As if the cows were out in the back pasture. The young lady at the counter allowed us to try several samples, which pleased the young ones very much. And maybe the adults too. We ended up with silky chocolate, less than plain vanilla and festive birthday cake. The space at the counter was narrow, but they had tables and chairs further back into the restaurant as well as restrooms. You feel a little like you are in a small piazza. I was hoping they would have a water fountain...not the Trevi, but a form of a water dispensing contraption. This is an Italian ice-cream, according to the staff it's lighter. So yes, I think I lost 1 pound after I ate this *:) I have to walk blindfolded at this St. Armands Circle. Pizza made on the spot while you wait! Even if it's a slice of pizza! Now that is service and dedication. The girl who makes the pizzas was very friendly and down to earth. Excellent pizzas. I had a margarita slice and my mom had sausage and my Hubby had the one with garlic, I think it was called Napolitana. Great pizza, super cheap. They also sell gelato here, although it seemed more like ice cream. It's a hidden storefront, very tiny sign and door entry but if you find it you can have some good, on the spot cooked food that is inexpensive compared to all the restaurants in Armand's Circle. Best gelato I've had outside of italy. Just moved to Sarasota and really enjoying the flavors here.

We love Settimi's Gelato! It was great to visit them on our way back from the beach. Fast and friendly service as usual. We feel very safe here, everyone wore masks and they allow a few people in at a time. Great to see they are also offering vegan/dairy free gelato in addition to their usual amazing flavors and sorbets.
