I came here for the first time to get my hair done by Marina & drove from Irvine to Long beach to get my hair done. NEVER would i have ever expected to come out of a salon with my hair TOASTED AND BURNED OFF! I paid $605 to get my hair burned off! no strand test was done on my hair before going all in with the bleach! After spending all day in this salon i didn't even get my hair dried nor styled. I was left like a wet dog!. On my way home i was crying because i've never experienced such a unprofessional job. Later on that day i had asked for a refund & the only refund i got was 100 out of 605! No apology or nothing was done. I've been struggling to get my hair back after this. I've been having so much breakage . I had to spend more money on getting extensions because more than half my hair came off. This is so upsetting and i hope no one has to ever go through what i went through. To this day i wish i had got my whole refund (which i should)!. Like any other professional hair stylist would, especially knowing they messed up my hair and never acknowledged it!. I was able to get a same day appointment this weekend with Lisa Fantone. I haven't cut or dyed my hair since last July and have been going back and forth trying to decide if I'm going to continue to dye it or leave the natural salt and pepper. It's just so much maintenance! I showed Lisa a picture of a lob cut that I was interested in. She really took her time with the cut and style and it was exactly what I hoped for. It's hard to do reviews for places like this. The owner of the salon rents space to various stylists and I can't speak for all of them BUT Megan is a breath of fresh air! Aside from the fact that she quickly understands what you want and immediately comes up with a game plan on how to make that happen, she's also kind and courteous. She does a great job and works extremely fast without effecting quality. I've sat at salons all day and the work isn't as good as hers.
