Met my boss at Seven Mile Cafe this morning for some breakfast tacos. He's from up north so needed a good breakfast before he left TX. Service was great. Loved my latte. The tacos did not disappoint! I had the Avocado Tacos (since I'm taking a short break from processed meat) and they were AMAZING! The amount of crisp on the hashbrowns in those tacos was mind-blowing. And the flavor of both the red and green salsas was wonderful. Judging by the lack of chatter, the boss loved his tacos too (he said the bacon in his was yummy!). Our waitress was very knowledgeable with what had dairy and what didn't, she was also very attentive. Service was great, but the food was even better. Definitely a hot brunch breakfast spot here in Keller. I recommend coming here early or getting on the wait list via Yelp. We got seated quickly as we were a party of 2 vs all the parties of 6+ which were harder to seat. The menu had a great variety of options but what I hear they are known for is their French toast. We opted for a loaded potato (which is essentially a hash with mixins topped with eggs) and the Migas. We ordered a side of plain French toast. The amount of food is A L O T!!! You will not leave hungry. We probably could've shared a dish. The French toast was amazing. And I am not normally a French toast person but the bread was crispy not soggy. My husbands migas was very tasty as well. The tortilla strips in the migas were crispy and the overall flavor was good. I will say that both dishes required a bit more salt added. I don't normally add salt to my restaurant ordered food so maybe they forgot but it was a bit bland overall which we were able to change with salt and pepper. Our bill was a bit pricy for 2 of us but I would come back and we ordered a little more than we would've normally but we like to try all the beat things when we try new places. read more

I came here on Friday 10/20 with my 4 year old son for brunch. First off, the staff was so sweet and understanding when my son spilt his water...then not even 10 minutes later I spilt mine! I'm was so embarrassed but they were great. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte which was just okay but I also got the loaded potato breakfast bowl and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. My son got the kids breakfast meal with 1 egg, bacon and the pumpkin spice pancake. No exaggeration, that pancake was the best I have EVER had. He did not want to share! I had the vegan "chicken" tacos they are SO good it came with a creamy, chipotle sauce, and a jalapeño cilantro sauce. My mother got the black bean burger. The black bean burger was not near as tasty as I had hoped it had almost an almond flour taste to it, and the chips were a little stale. Yet, when we told our extremely nice waitress, she was very apologetic and told the manager about our experience and took it off our ticket. Truly something for everyone. The cinnamon french toast was very good drizzled with maple syrup. The Cinnabon was good and perfectly baked. Not dry at all. Biscuits and gravy was fantastic with plenty of delicious gravy. Second visit & second location, the food was just as tasty as the other location. My server was a sweet college student. He was so attentive and patient. His mother should be proud. This location has indoor and covered patio seating. I could see parking being a challenge in the weekend. I went on a weekday and didn't have problem parking but I did see a few cars get towed. We love coming here. I debated five stars but the pricing is a little higher than some other breakfast areas. However, the food is fresh and super tasty and the portions are big so all things considered it is a great place to have breakfast or brunch. I appreciate how many accommodations they have such as different types of milk and gluten free options plus they use cage free eggs and everything just tastes so fresh. The waitlist option is perfect so you can get on the list from home and just drive and check in when you get there. We only waited about five minutes after checking in and were called within our original time frame. Waitress was great and super sweet and even when they were busy for Mother's Day the food and drinks came out quickly. We will be back again soon I hope! read more

Indoor and outdoor seating also private rooms available. During peak hours there is always a wait, however you can get added to the waitlist via website/yelps. And it's worth the wait! On a recent visit to Texas from Florida, wanted something for breakfast that has a southwest twang to it and came across this joint based on Yelp reviews. It is a charming cafe, not dank and dingy but inviting and comfortable. We were promptly seated and attended to by a wonderful server, Maya, who was not overly intrusive, but checked often enough which let us know that we were not forgotten. The Huevos Rancheros with pulled pork was epically good. The Farmhouse Biscuit Sandwich(es) were fantastic with nice crumbly, buttery biscuits. The potatoes were a touch salty but, the crispness was on-point. Any trip back to this area of Texas warrants a return visit. read more

Seven Mile Cafe has been on my list of places to try for a very long time. I have been unwilling to try it because their wait times can be an hour, maybe even over an hour and a half! I live that Yelp gives you an idea of wait times! When I looked this morning, it was still before their breakfast rush, AND I was able to get in line from the Yelp app! We arrived at the assigned time and were probably seated in a little over 5 minutes. Online checking is definitely the way to go! Our server was Mayly, who was very attentive and available throughout our brunch. She automatically brought water when she came to greet us. My fiancé loves orange juice, and when he ordered it we found that they have both fresh squeezed and "regular". The fresh squeezed is $2.50 more, but it tasted great. No pulp, of that matters to you. There were a couple of things in the menu that really stood out to me. They have SEVEN types of benedicts. That is a lot, but what I loved is that they had an option to choose 2 if you couldn't decide. I haven't seen another restaurant do that, but I loved it and took them up on it. I had the original and the avocado. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was served on the side. Both were wonderful, but next time I would just get the avocado. The avocado was perfectly ripened and so creamy! The meal comes with has browns, for which I subbed out their Gouda grits - turns out I couldn't have gone with either decision! I loved not only the flavor of the grits, but also the consistency. They weren't soupy like some places. I tried my fiancés hash browns, and while they looked like any other hash browns, they tasted so much better. I have no idea how they were different, but they were. The food was awesome and it arrived so quickly! Another thing I thought was cool was the smooth upsell. We ordered our food and immediately after she read it back, she asked if maybe we'd like a pancake to share. We said no, but then I looked at the menu again and was like, dang! I might order a pancake next time. I like that you can order a pancake "solo" or as a stack. They also have a pancake trilogy, where you can order 3 flavors. I have seen that at only one place before and love the options! This was not something I needed, but they seemed to have many vegetarian, some vegan and some "gluten sensitive" options. Our section was made up of 6 tops and 2 tops. You don't often see 6 tops, but they definitely kept them full! The restrooms were a bit outdated but appeared to be very clean. There was a checklist showing that someone checked the restrooms every 2 hours. This place will remain in our rotation, especially since I can get in line via the Yelp app! read more

In town for a wedding and we decided to grab brunch from here because parents of the bride suggested it. It is in a really neat part of town that has a row of restaurants that are locally owned. It looks small from the outside but there is ample seating inside or on their patio. I decided to try the California Benny. Others in my family ordered the Southern Benedict, Denton Huevos and a traditional platter of eggs, hash browns and bacon. My brother in law loved his Denton Huevos. The rest of us were underwhelmed by the lack of flavor our meals had. We had to add salt and pepper to our dishes to give it the umpth it lacked. At least everything tasted very fresh. The waitress was great and the overall experience was nice. If I get a chance to eat here again I would love to try something else on the menu because everything looks delicious. read more

We ordered the California Benny and Strawberry Berry Waffle I had the Nutella coffee also. The good: Waffle was delicious one of the better Waffles we've had in our area I'm thinking they were dough made instead of batter fruit was fresh and seating was comfortable we chose patio cause it was freezing inside. The Not so good: Nutella coffee was warm looked pretty but needed more heat. Biscuit was disappointing and the California Benny dish itself was cool lukewarm at best kinda like my food served hot - warm will not order this again. Overall: Little pricey for what they delivered to table. Service was good almost too good Clean with decent location. We will come back for the Waffles when craving them.
