It's beat up and doors are just for ascetic purposes. Not any storage space for your personal stuff. Lastly, the noise. The cabin we rented is very close to the highway. This isn't mentioned in the description. If you do decide to rent, call them directly and ask for a cabin in the back of the property. It's pricey in my opinion considering the issues I listed here. We surprised our twin six-year-olds, who were turning seven with a little destination birthday trip. Had our cousins meet us there for a double surprise. And this might have been our best birthday/family Vacay ever! I mean, Opry the hotel is immaculate and you don't really have to ever leave once you're there. And the soundwaves waterpark is like double icing on top of the most perfect cake. Even when it rains, you can still enjoy the inside waterpark, and because it is private to only hotel guests, it never felt crowded. We never really had to wait in line for a waterslide, the two lazy rivers were never over congested, and the individual surf lessons on the surf machine might've been a family favorite. We just kept trying over and over and over again until we could do the tricks they were teaching us. Bonus: amazing instructors! Already thinking I should book for next year and do the same thing over again, it was that magical!

Positives are the adults-only areas, nice staff, and several pools and activities to choose from. Negatives - $42 for 2 small alcoholic beverages plus tip? Crazy. Those resort fees are real. The water and indoor section was very warm. I was looking for a cool off with 90 degrees outside but the indoor section was over 90 degrees inside! Some areas need to be updated, and some slides were not working so unsure if this is worth the price.
