One of my favorite shops on the Embarcadero. They have the most beautiful jewelry and gift items. Last time we were here I bought beautiful ring made out of old unique Japanese button. The owner remembered us when I told her about the ring I had bought last visit. That same jewelry designer had other button jewelry on display here. They were having a sale on everything there, which was great. I ended up finding a cute mini wallet as a gift for a friend and a tiny stuffed cat that resembles my own cat. Both items were a great price. I'm so happy we stopped by here. read more

I thought they were closed when I was admiring something in the window the other day. It was a weekday and most other stores had closed at 5PM. I told the hubby we'll have to come back the next day, when he noticed the door around the corner was open!! We went inside and were greeted by the nicest lady there! She said she stays open until 6PM...hooray! I got the item I was after and looked around a bit. Super cute stuff there. They're just getting ready to start putting out their inventory for the holidays, so everything was sale. Score! I love to save money...who doesn't?! Since the item was a gift, I was given a cute bag and even tissue paper. Can't wait to go back the next time we're in town! read more

I came in here right before closing. I am on a road trip and was looking for a gift for my mother in law. The owner was so kind and a true pleasure to talk with. I ended up finding two watercolors I liked and a necklace with a Montana sapphire stone. Didn't get anything for mother in law after all. The necklace was meant as a self-symbolic reminder to myself- a reminder and affirmation. When I got back to the hotel and started looking at the sapphire I noticed it had a lot of defects and considered going back and asking if I could exchange it for something else, or at worse, return it and offer to pay a loaner fee. In the end, I decided the occlusions in the stone are representative of my own defects and aspirations and that it is the perfect stone at this time for me. So I will proudly wear it and think of the nice lady who helped me find it. read more

This gallery is also a gift shop. I bought a couple of Christmas ornaments and a small tree as gifts for friends. Everything looks High quality and very fashionable. The lady that checked us out was very friendly and answered questions about the items we purchased. If you are looking for unique gifts check this gallery out. *free street parking no private lot. I visited the Seven Sisters Gallery the other day on my Embarcadero walk. The gallery has such beautiful and unusual items to purchase. Patty, the owner is so friendly and personable. You get a real sense that she puts a lot of effort into personally hand selecting her beautiful inventory. Her selections includes local artists work as well. Pleasant surprise here -- beautiful unique jewelry pieces that are bound to please all tastes and a variety of prices too. The salesperson (I'm guessing the owner) was very friendly and took her time looking for the original packaging materials to make sure my item didn't get scuffed or damaged. I bought a lovely wall plaque for my kitchen (it says "Live life to the fullest..." with some misc other quotes) for only $39.95. I walked by while window shopping, and the next day realized I had to come back and buy it. And I did :) read more

I was extremely offended today when I went in to the store around 11am to see what was possibly available for Christmas gifts for my 2 daughters when I over heard a conversation with a possible sales representative & the owner/manager regarding the 250,000 deaths from COVID-19! He was stating that "a lot were old & going to die anyway & therefore we shouldn't worry about enough money for social security!" And then gave a chuckle!! The manager/ owner did absolutely nothing to stop the conversation!! I am absolutely for free speech but in a business open to the public one should be aware how that type of comments should be in private !! I would not make a purchase there . read more

This gallery/gift shop is full of beautiful things. Great selection of gift ideas! I was especially enthralled with the jewelry on display. So many unusual and unique pieces that you are not likely to find anywhere else. In fact, everything in the store is unique. You can tell that the owner goes out of her way to choose items that will inspire you to say, or at least think, WOW! I ended up buying two pairs of earrings that I wear all the time because I receive endless compliments on them. "Where did you get those?" they ask. And I tell them. If I could give it ZERO stars I would because last night's experience with the blonde headed worker was so un called for. This place has a mechanical reindeer outside their door as you walk in, I had my toddler son who is special needs with us. I was calling his name and telling him to look at the moving reindeer which mind you he had no interrest in he preferred to continue to push his wagon we had with us. The worker comes running out of the store yelling at us not to put him on the reindeer, I was very nice to her and told her we had no intentions to put him on it, she then said don't let him touch it which at this point he wasn't even near the reindeer. I still had a smile on my face and being nice to her as I was originally going into this store to buy some things I seen through the window, I explained to her he didn't even touch it at all and we weren't going to allow him to touch it, she then replies well I seen it tipping over. I proceeded to look at the items in the store but didn't buy anything because of her attitude. First off the reindeer is a mechanical one which was moving on its own. If it was tipping over it would have fallen. The fact that she changed her perspective 3 times accusing us of something we were not doing at all was just uncalled for and wrong. I don't know if it's because we are Hispanic or because we have a child with down syndrome but she definitely did not make us feel welcomed or wanted us in that store. I have been to Seven Sisters Gallery many times over the years and am always very impressed with the variety of items Patty the owner has in there. I've bought several works of art from paintings to metal sculptures and hand made glass pieces. Her selection of jewelry is amazing! She has something for all ages including wonderful hand animal puppets for children. Patty is always more than willing to take the time to answer questions about anything in the store and she's always smiling. I can't imagine going to Morro Bay and not going to see Patty and find out what new items she has. read more

I called in to see if they had a pair of gold/silver Morro Rock dangle earrings - I purchased a pendant in silver/gold depicting the famous Morro Bay rock some years ago and was now looking for matching earrings to go with pendant. Patty created these special earrings for me as we chatted on the phone. She mailed them out quickly - I received them within a couple of days and have been happily wearing them since! They are sweet & comfortable to wear! Many thanks to Patty for her great customer service - it was my pleasure to meet her over the phone. I am a longtime shopper at this store and was very surprised to see negative reviews on google. The friendly ladies that run the shop have ALWAYS been very attentive and helpful, which is a boon to a somewhat clueless son/boyfriend. Their selection of reclaimed, carved ivory and Larimar set this fabulous shop far beyond any of the local competition and put it in the running for one of the most fantastic jewelry stores around. I have always enjoyed shopping here, and particularly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere you don't get at most jewelry stores. read more

This place carries such lovely and unusual jewelry and gifts. A few summers ago, my wife and I visited Morro Bay. We stumbled on Seven Sisters and stopped in for a look. We ended up buying new wedding rings to celebrate our 20th anniversary--really beautiful and strikingly unusual silver rings made in Bali. We've both gotten so many compliments on them. Last winter, I LOST my ring and was devastated. I called the shop and Patty, the owner, was very sympathetic and kind. She had me text her a photo of the other ring and immediately wrote back to inform me that they no longer carried these rings. But she promised to look into getting a replacement for me. Which proved to be complicated. But last week I got a text from Patty. My ring had finally arrived!! I paid over the phone and she shipped it out the next day. I'm overjoyed. This kind of care and service is hard to find. A jewel (couldn't help myself). Thank you, Patty. I encourage everyone to check out this shop and its lovely owner and items. read more

I must state this I will not shop in this store again. I live in Morro Bay and have been buying items from this store almost since it open four years or so ago. Today was the last time, I went in the store to purchase a gift for my daughter, the prices of an item as almost doubled in the last 4 months. My daughter made mention of a necklace that she liked the last time she was in town and I thought I would buy it for her, with no explanation the price increased. I was there with the new owner and the manager (joke) and they did nothing to explain the the increase and did nothing in general to make me feel good about why. I left not buying anything and went into San Luis Obispo to purchase her a gift. So if you are ever in Morro Bay, skip this store. read more

My husband and I stop here every time we are in Morro Bay. They feature items by a number of local artists, and the variety of items is extensive. On this visit, we purchased a wonderful book featuring art by people with Autism and short bio's about them, a beautiful tagua nut carving of an exotic animal, and a lovely handmade pendant necklace featuring three hummingbirds in silver. They have many gift items priced for giving, as well as higher-end jewelry for special occasions. We look forward to seeing what's new every time we visit. read more

I didnt get a chance to purchase a bracelet I caught a glimpse of during our busy mini vacation (Either I didnt feel it appropriate to go in with drinks in our hands or our active little boy was not going to take a break for calm shopping). I was pleased to know the gallery had an online site, so I opted to try to purchase that way. My card data was not going thru but when I called and spoke with a live person, Liz, she was able to help me complete my purchase and I received my lovely bracelet after just one full business day! Great store, interesting and unusual items sold by friendly helpful staff. I've been shopping there several times a year for several years and the prices have not increased very much. also the store is made up of mostly locked jewelry cases and small so no need for the Owner or Employees to follow anyone to stop thefts. I suspect other reasons for the negative reviews are at work. read more
