I googled the map, and found this one with good reviews. I called, and was told that I could come, but it would close at 4. It did not take that long to get the job done. In fact, I wished it could have taken longer, since I was watching the soccer match between Australia and Egypt in the comfortable waiting area. Believe it or not, this was my first time watching. Overall, I like my experience. Steve sounds, looks, and is trustworthy. I will recommend this place to anybody.

This is after calling and visiting 3 other places that were supposedly open according to google, but actually decided to stay shut - likely because it had snowed fairly heavily. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get Elton on the phone who told me to come on in for my oil change and I got there 6 minutes later. First, he cleaned the snow off my car. Offered me a seat in the waiting room in the back of the shop. After fiddling on my phone for a bit, I decided to go and check on the status and just as I stood up off the chair Elton was walking in to let me know it was done. 15 minutes, maybe, for the oil change. Synthetic for a 2024 car - was $90. Reasonable. Not do it yourself cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, no appointment, weekend, bad weather, arrive and receive service immediately, friendly. I'm literally writing this immediately after leaving because they deserve the praise. Also, there was a beautiful.. I mean absolutely beautiful Chevrolet inside the garage, I'd guess from the 80's, but it could have been late 70. Heck, it could even have been early 90's, I have no idea. All I know is 20 years ago I'd call it a piece of junk but today I couldn't take my eyes off it. Funny how that happens. Anyway, I digress a second time. Hylan Auto Repair, Elton, thank you for taking care of this chore that I've had on my todo list for 2 months longer than it should have been on there. I…read moreunfortunately didn't catch the inspector's name, but he was amazing and looked over my kitchen and bathroom where I've been dealing with persistent leaks from an upstairs neighbor and shoddily done repairs by my property manager's "mold guys". He identified areas of moisture that I wasn't aware of and took his time making sure everything was looked over. He also took samples I requested. He was great and so nice and explained everything in so much detail! I don't have the report yet since it was just done last night but just wanted to let his team know he was great!

My wife took her car in for Transmission fluid change and other fluid changes. (Brake, steering…read moreetc) When she asked if they can do the transmission fluid change, the manager said, he had to look under the hood to see what type of transmission it has. After waiting for a couple of hours, the manager, Chris, said he couldn't do the transmission change because he didn't have the right tools. Why didn't he say that in the first place? When I went to confront him he knew what's coming and picked up his phone and started texting. I asked him if he's the manager and he said yes but kept playing with the phone. I could tell from his face he's trying to come up with an excuse so I let him figure it out and waited patiently. After (literally) 5 minutes, he spoke to me and said he didn't know what type of transmission it had. I asked him if he couldn't simply look it up online and he said it's not as easy as that. When I asked him once he found he couldn't do the transmission why he proceeded with other jobs, he didn't have the answer. It would have been much simpler for me to take the car to a place where they do everything rather than going to different places. The business practice and the customer service in this place leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't go back to this place again. These guys give honest mechanics a bad name.

Being part of an HOA, I was told the inside repairs would be my problem. I had no idea where to turn, or how to start this process, so I reached out to my local FB page. Kevin was one of the first to offer to help, providing his website and even DMing me immediately. I got a flood of comments but chose to give Kevin a call first. This was the best decision I could have made. Kevin was extremely forthcoming, friendly and unbelievable helpful. He took the time to talk with me and even offered to go to my condo asap to look at the damage. He went over the same day and called me immediately with his thoughts and advice. I never felt pressured to work with him or that he was rushing me to make a decision. In fact, it was just the opposite. He told me I could call him anytime and ask him any questions I had even if I don't use him. Spoiler alert, I totally used him. A no brainer! From start to finish, Kevin came through for me. He showed up on time, his crew was respectful of my property, he communicated every step of the way, took photos, and even went above at beyond by being the middle man for me with my adjustor and insurance company. I was super stressed at the beginning of this journey but Kevin took all of that off my hands. Kevin and his crew completed all the needed repairs in the upstairs loft and bathroom areas that were affected and were in and out in 3 days tops. They left the house immaculate, took every precaution, and made this whole process a breeze. I can not recommend Kevin enough and will sing his praises to anyone who will listen. Bottom line: Kevin is my go-to guy now and he should be yours too.
