I love Seventea! I used to come here all the time before they became an independent small business, but I was still happy with their menu. Their drinks are pretty standard for a boba shop. Their milk teas and fruit teas are solid, nothing mind-blowing in my opinion, but I can see why this place is popular. Really cute boba shop with a whole claw machine arcade adjacent. Lots of great drink options from fruit teas, milk teas, slushies to popcorn chicken and taiyakis. The claw machines mostly take 1 token per go with $10 for 10 tokens - so honestly not that bad! And one of the staff (maybe the owner?) said that lots of people win all the time. I stopped by with my family to get some boba and they have a claw machine play area connected to it called FunZone. I got excited when I saw it so I went to play the claw games before ordering my drink. We spent $80 on the claw games. The games are 1 coin each except for the bigger prize game which was 2 coins. The claws were a little difficult to win because it seemed kind of loose when it grabbed but we did win some plushies. I love claw machines so I could be there all day playing. The Tea side had lots of seating and great music playing. I ordered a taro smoothie with grass jelly and my daughter got a honeydew smoothie. Both tasted great. I want to go back to try the avocado smoothie since it says there's fresh avocado in it. Of course I'll end up playing more claw games while I'm there. 4/13/25 Getting a drink and dinner! Ordered a boba drink & Taiyaki on Yelp. Paid for it and went to get it. Arrived! Inside is cute! They have a bunch of "fun zone" stuffed animal claw machines when you walk in and an entire room next door with a bunch more and interactive games. They charge an extra $1 to split the drink. I recently went to Taiwan, and I love how Seventea feels so much like being in Taiwan. Ultra cute doggy decor & claw machines is so on brand! I love all of the doggy stickers in various themes! The branding is so masterful, I thought for sure that Seventea was a chain of some sort. We typically go to the same places for boba around town, but I had a craving for popcorn chicken, and that lead us to Seventea. I got the honey brown rice milk tea at 50% sweetness with agar boba and chia seeds. The drink was 3.5/5, with the tea flavor on the weak side. The agar boba was a nice change from my usual honey boba, and I enjoyed the pairing with my drink. My husband got the peach tea and subbed popping boba for honey boba. He rated his 3/5 because of the weak tea flavor and the boba being a tad on the hard side (he's a stickler for QQ, the bouncy quality of foods). Our popcorn chicken was bomb (5/5). It was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and accompanied with fried basil and fried garlic chunks. Garlic is not a usual inclusion, and we enjoyed having it with our chicken. Overall, we love the atmosphere here and will come back to try more snacks. My husband wants to try the premium tea selection next time to compare tea quality! read more

Since my initial review, I have stopped by here a few times now. I tried some different things from their menu, and tried their seasoned curly fries. When I got it, it did not come with any sauce like their picture shows, and not only that, I don't think it was even seasoned, it was just bland curly fries, and If I wanted that, I'd just take myself to Jack In The Box. Disappointed with the food I received, I tried two drinks, Black Tea Oreo Smoothie, and to try, their Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk. The Black Tea Oreo, felt like it hadn't been completely blended through, and there were definitely some small chunks of ice that hadn't been pulverized completely. For the Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk, I had heard they were popular, and decided to try it. I got 110% sweetness, and when I tried it, it straight up tasted like milk, and could hardly taste any brown sugar at all. Overall it seemed like every other visit my order was botched somehow some way, and other times they were fine. Great tea and great service. Loved the Hokkaido milk tea with boba and egg pudding. Two issues: 1. I was going to order their signature milk tea but they did not allow customization which basically was to reduce the amount of ice. Not sure why a basic tea cannot accommodate this kind of request. Unless... this was already made and in a pitch of milk tea for easy pouring. This is a red flag for me, especially when a cup of boba tea is $7. 2. They charge $1 for an empty cup. Hmmm... we ordered 3 drinks and just want a cup to share with a toddler whom we know will not finish the entire cup by herself. I was surprised that this cup costs an extra $1. I don't appreciate businesses that Nickel and dimes. 3. Bathroom was completely out of soap. This always bothers me since I know staff also use the same bathroom. The thought of staff not washing their hands properly after using the toilet and the same hands are used to make boba drinks makes me sick.
