Before the surgery could even be scheduled, I was required to pay for an ultrasound and a urine culture upfront, which quickly totaled over $1,000. When emergency surgery was deemed necessary, I again had to pay thousands upfront. This happened over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Even though I tried my hardest to cover everything, I came up $891 short of the final total. Because they were so angry that I couldn't pay the entire balance right then, the doctor refused to even come out to talk to me when I picked Cozy up. I was sent home with absolutely zero post-operative instructions. I didn't know how to care for his incisions or what to look out for. I actually had to post on Nextdoor, where kind neighbors had to recommend recovery suits and basic post-op care tips. Neglecting a patient's aftercare over a financial dispute is incredibly unprofessional and put my dog at risk.Furthermore, because of that remaining balance, the hospital is still refusing to send Cozy's bladder stones out to the lab for analysis. Anyone with a pet who suffers from bladder stones knows that identifying the type of stone is crucial to their long-term recovery, as it dictates the exact prescription food they need to prevent a recurrence.I have tried in good faith to resolve this. I made a $100 payment and asked for a payment plan, but they refused. I also tried to secure third-party charity funding, but the hospital stated they do not work with them. It is incredibly disheartening that after spending thousands of dollars here, this facility is essentially holding my dog's medical analysis hostage. They are actively blocking his full recovery. If you go here, be prepared to pay every single cent upfront, as they will completely abandon customer service and standard patient care the moment you experience financial hardship.

We were having difficulty coming up with how to proceed with our 17 year old cat and his health…read moreproblems. The doctors were patient with us and gave us the uncomfortable truths about the cost, prognosis, and how they believe our cat would respond to treatment. I don't think my cat was very comfortable and they didn't offer any palliative care and it was hard to get an appointment. We ended up letting our cat go. The staff and doctor were understanding and we received a hand signed card from the doctors and staff in the mail today. Expenses at the vet are difficult, and so is dealing with health problems of your pet. They are pretty considerate. There is a discount if you book online and fees if you cancel in a short amount of time. There's usually plenty of parking in front, the lines are not obvious, so it can be confusing. Overall, a decent experience with a veterinary office.

After going over the options we chose to have her sedated so he could examine the paw more thoroughly and that was when the embedded foxtail was found. We never felt pushed to make a decision one way or another as to the course of action to take. Dr. Komlosy and his nurse Lily, who did Heidi's intake and assisted with the surgery, treated us with respect and kept us informed as to what was happening and the costs involved. We felt they also treated Heidi with kindness and care during her visit there. So overall, we have been happy with the care we were given with the new team at Town and Country Animal Hospital. P.S. We've been clients there for more than 25 years.

After 21 years of loyalty, I'M LEAVING. I miss Doctor Sevier. He was the best. He was…read moreinformative, kind, and most of all he didn't try to rip you off or push medications. He always tried to provide cheaper alternatives. When Doctor Rhodes took over, he was just ok and prices went up a bit. It was to be expected and I didn't want to search for another vet. Now there is a newer provider who wants to charge even more and perform unnecessary tests. For example, I called to renew my dog's heartworm meds. I was told that I had to bring her in, pay for an exam, and get a heartworm test. I explained that she just had the bloodwork 6 months ago! "Oh, there's a new provider so they have to do and entirely new exam with blood." Do they not share medical records like any other dog or human doctor? This was the icing on the cake. Such a stupid request to loose a long term customer. I took my dogs to Rolling Hills Hospital and guess what, they don't need to do bloodwork because they could see on her records that she just had the blood test. What a novel thought. Cost Savings Tip: For those of you who never had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Sevier, he gave this advice. Once your dog turns 10, don't bother with vaccinations other than those that are required. By 10 years old, they've had enough vacinnes in their system to carry them through their life. Save yourself some money.

Throughout the entire process, I was in communication with the team. They were quick to answer any questions I had, and I event got photos and videos of my dog throughout the journey, which gave me so much peace of mind all day. My driver, Eugenio was wonderful. He kept me updated as they were crossing back into the U.S. and let me know when they were getting close so I could be ready to greet my viejito on time. He also helped me carry him out of the van and reminded me to make sure to check his medications were correct before he left. There's something really comforting about knowing your dog isn't just being transported from point A to point B, but that there are people that care looking out along the way. MexiVet is seriously a life saver, and I'm so glad this service exists. It has made getting my dog the care he needs in Mexico so much easier and a lot less scary.

This is specific to Dr. Sinopoli and her team. God placed the right people in my path to see my Einstein through his transition. I remember the exact moment when I saw my little guy's condition change. When you are one with your fur baby, you just know. Our visits to the vet were more frequent and there were no real answers. We monitored... I was so desperate for answers I blessed by being assigned to Dr.Sinopoli. She made recommendations we put into action. Although we did our best it was evident there was a decision to be made. She provided me with options. Never once did she persuade me one way or the other. We looked into oncology/surgery and pet hospice (Lap of Love) . I did my due diligence for my Einstein. It was the hardest decision and the most heart wrenching experience to have to send my Joy, my companion, my reason, my Einstein over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Sinopoli held his paw and my hand every step of the way. Even after my Einstein crossed over , Dr. Sinopoli and her team were there. They checked in on me . Had I met Dr. Sinopoli sooner perhaps the outcome might have been different. Perhaps she was sent to Einstein and I at the appointed time. I am forever grateful for her kindness and her support. -Yara and Einstein
