I called three other veterinary offices and only got voicemail and had to leave messages waiting for a call back. Their prices for vaccinations are also very reasonable--actually cheaper than many other vets and only slightly more than standing in line for an hour at the low-cost clinic on Bonita Road. It's so nice to find a veterinary office that is affordable, responsive, and easy to work with. I definitely recommend them!

During this most recent visit, we picked up a probiotic for our Aussie Shepard pup, got allergy shots for our mini-schnauzers and met with Dr Urbina to check our schnauzers tail that's been bothering her. Dr Urbina is well trained, knowledgeable and doesn't pressure us with options like other vets. Their vet techs (we love Breanna) are so caring and helpful too. Other procedures we've had done for our pups: dental cleanings, x-rays, biopsies, and when our schnauzer had pancreatitis (so scary!), we came here to have daytime water drip when we finished at the Emergency vet overnight. Parking- it's street parking but we always find a spot. It's nice to have all the grass because when our pups are nervous, we'll take them around the grassy area before the appointment. Overall, We love this place and will continue supporting small local businesses!

Dr. Teran has been caring for her for over a year now and we have had many visits to get these issues under control. Now, my cat is doing great, and while it took awhile to find what treatment plan worked best for her, she is doing a lot better now. I can tell Dr. Teran is very passionate about the animals she cares about and is very easy to talk to about problems and concerns. The vet techs and other staff are also awesome. 10/10 service, would 100% recommend Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical center.

I recently brought my two dogs to Telegraph Canyon Animal Vet for two back-to-back appointments…read more One is my longtime dog who has been coming here her entire life, and the other is my new puppy. I chose to come back because I had always trusted this vet with my first dog and thought it would be the best place for my puppy as well. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. I was there for nearly two hours, and all I needed was flea medication, yearly exams, and vaccinations. From the beginning, I specifically told the vet that I was on a budget. Despite that, my first estimate was over $300, and I was also presented with several additional services that I had not asked for. The estimate for my second dog was over $500. What frustrated me most was feeling like my concerns about my budget weren't really being listened to. I understand that veterinarians have recommendations for their patients, but there is a big difference between explaining what is medically necessary and repeatedly trying to add services when a customer has clearly communicated financial limitations. The wait was also unacceptable. We were left sitting in the exam room for a little over an hour. I eventually went to the front desk because I was concerned that we had been forgotten. Unfortunately, I felt like no one even acknowledged that I was trying to get someone's attention. We were still there after the office had closed. I truly miss when veterinary visits felt more focused on listening to the customer and taking care of the animals, rather than feeling like an opportunity to upsell additional services. After being a longtime client and originally coming back because of the trust I had built with this practice, this experience was enough to make me decide that I will not be returning to Telegraph Canyon Animal Vet. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the lack of communication, excessive wait time, and feeling pressured into additional services completely changed my opinion of a place I had trusted for years.

This is specific to Dr. Sinopoli and her team. God placed the right people in my path to see my Einstein through his transition. I remember the exact moment when I saw my little guy's condition change. When you are one with your fur baby, you just know. Our visits to the vet were more frequent and there were no real answers. We monitored... I was so desperate for answers I blessed by being assigned to Dr.Sinopoli. She made recommendations we put into action. Although we did our best it was evident there was a decision to be made. She provided me with options. Never once did she persuade me one way or the other. We looked into oncology/surgery and pet hospice (Lap of Love) . I did my due diligence for my Einstein. It was the hardest decision and the most heart wrenching experience to have to send my Joy, my companion, my reason, my Einstein over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Sinopoli held his paw and my hand every step of the way. Even after my Einstein crossed over , Dr. Sinopoli and her team were there. They checked in on me . Had I met Dr. Sinopoli sooner perhaps the outcome might have been different. Perhaps she was sent to Einstein and I at the appointed time. I am forever grateful for her kindness and her support. -Yara and Einstein

The location was close to us and they operate 24 hours, even during holiday weekends. We took in our dog, nearing midnight and without an appointment. The vet told us about the potential conditions she's dealing with, after stabilizing her. They suggested that she stay overnight for continued monitoring. This caused us great worry, due to the rapid decline of her health and the expense we would endure. Though it gave some relief as we were able to get some rest and hope for the best as they tend to her. The team over there were attentive and informative, providing constant contact with my my wife and I about any changes in health. Although we're now missing now a big part of our family, I can say this place really took great care in trying to give our dog a better quality of life. Thank you!

After going over the options we chose to have her sedated so he could examine the paw more thoroughly and that was when the embedded foxtail was found. We never felt pushed to make a decision one way or another as to the course of action to take. Dr. Komlosy and his nurse Lily, who did Heidi's intake and assisted with the surgery, treated us with respect and kept us informed as to what was happening and the costs involved. We felt they also treated Heidi with kindness and care during her visit there. So overall, we have been happy with the care we were given with the new team at Town and Country Animal Hospital. P.S. He always tried to provide cheaper alternatives. When Doctor Rhodes took over, he was just ok and prices went up a bit. It was to be expected and I didn't want to search for another vet. Now there is a newer provider who wants to charge even more and perform unnecessary tests. For example, I called to renew my dog's heartworm meds. I was told that I had to bring her in, pay for an exam, and get a heartworm test. I explained that she just had the bloodwork 6 months ago! "Oh, there's a new provider so they have to do and entirely new exam with blood." Do they not share medical records like any other dog or human doctor? This was the icing on the cake. Such a stupid request to loose a long term customer. I took my dogs to Rolling Hills Hospital and guess what, they don't need to do bloodwork because they could see on her records that she just had the blood test. What a novel thought. Cost Savings Tip: For those of you who never had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Sevier, he gave this advice. Once your dog turns 10, don't bother with vaccinations other than those that are required. By 10 years old, they've had enough vacinnes in their system to carry them through their life. Save yourself some money.
