Just moved into an apartment here and I'm happy to call this place my first home Sopheap is amazing and I love the staff! The area is well maintained and staff does a great job keeping tenants informed about any construction/ changes being made such as parking repainting or fire drill testing. Alex responds well to maintenance requests. Paying rent has an online system that is very efficient/ flexible which I really appreciate coming from a place that ONLY took money orders. Neighbors are very considerate too. I didn't realize my puppy child barks when I'm not home so they were kind enough to inform me first so I could fix this disruptive issue. No complaints since :) If you are a dog lover, definitely consider this place as the community really watches out for your pup in case they get out. I found my neighbors corgi wandering around and quickly returned him home. There are lots of areas for your pup to play as well as relieve himself. They even provide doggy bags! read more

This property has went downhill. Broken cars everywhere, trash, stairwells and breezeways all dirty. New residents who smoke on the property. I cannot walk anywhere without smelling cigarettes or weed. No fresh flowers around the monument signs. Very sad what this place has become. read more

I have lived here for many years. There has been a lot of managers, leasing agents and maintenance during this time. The past year has been a refreshing change. A year ago I needed to sign my lease in person ( in office ) due to a software issue on my computer. Diane was very helpful and patient making this an easy process. The office is professional and readily answers questions related to occupancy at Seville Apartments. Recently I visited the office for some additional information on my new lease and Diane went above and beyond to make sure I got the answers needed. I've been living here for about three years now, and over the last 6 months it's gone downhill..... People smoke in their apartments and patios and I can't open my windows when it's cool outside, there's been no management team for a few months to address my questions or concerns , and when I went to the office to find out why my work order has taken over 10 days to address I find out from a temp that the one great maintenance person they had left a few weeks back. Ownership needs to figure something out and hire a team that will take care of the property and their residents. read more

Absolutely pathetic management that is currently running this property. I think the current manager is Trivia and despite making several complaints about getting the parking lot cleaned up and furniture picked up that has been sitting outside the dumpsters in different buildings, there's absolutely nothing she has done to get the problem resolved. This place used to be a very well maintained property when it used to be run by tony and Sofi, but ever since they got transferred to other sister properties, it seems like everything is running on its own. Unfortunately, there isn't even a way to get in contact with them in person, because the office remains closed all the time, on top of which there is no way to contact Shapell properties about this issue also. read more

I just moved in here in November and I have a few complaints so far such as I'm VERY upset that management and maintenance are not available during the weekends or after 5 PM. Don't get cable/satellite unless you are available during the WEEKDAYS to sign off on the work order when the office is open and can give the techs access to the cable box! (I have to wait til Monday to get it activated in my unit) Also, it's very difficult to catch the management because of their limited operating hours (they are also closed for an hour for lunch sometime between 11am-1pm).... And they expect $1400 in rent to jump through all these hoops to live here comfortably?! You're better off emailing them. So far I'm not expecting to renew my lease next November. I'm also going to write to the management company/owners about proposing to extend business hours by an hour because just living here feels like an inconvenience and that's the VERY LEAST they can do for the residents. I am a new resident and have been living at Seville for around 4 months now and it has been a great experience! Our apartment is perfect for my Wife and I (plus our cat). We worked with Andrea from the beginning and she has been wonderful! She called me back promptly when I was first inquiring and made the whole process very smooth and easy! If we ever have any questions or need a maintenance request, Andrea responds extremely fast and takes care of everything! Her and Erin have been very helpful and are a big part of the reason we enjoy the complex. The apartment complex is quiet and clean and we have not had any issues with noise from our neighbors. This has been a huge relief, since our last apartments the noise has carried quite a bit and the walls were paper thin. There are also lots of places to walk in the area! I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for an affordable way to live in San Ramon! read more

We just moved in 2 weeks ago and love love our new place. We scored a first floor corner apartment (Thank you God!). Lots of sun light and great air flow throughout the whole place. My mother in law rented an apartment here for two years. It was a beautiful two bedroom overlooking the garden on the second floor. The apartment was beautiful, new carpet and great layout. The community pool is warm and wonderful to swim in, and we had many parties there and in the community room. The other residents are nice to each other and courteous, making it a pleasant place to live. It has all of San Ramon's amazing schools, including the middle school right next door! My son, in elementary school, easily walks here after school to see her. The property managers Andrea and Erin are kind and very nice to work with. The property is well maintained and it even has nice little touches like jasmine and other fragrant flowers that just smell wonderful. This is an amazing apartment complex, and I highly recommend it. read more

I seriously called and emailed this place 6 (YES- 6!) times and they never called or emailed me back! They advertise like crazy on Craigslist- clogging up the searches with like 5 new posts a day yet they obviously don't want to rent their units since they won't call you back. What a waste of time. It has become a nightmare living here. The management changed two or three years ago, everything went to shit. They used to power wash the buildings, walkways, and stairs consistently. They have only done it ONCE since the change, and that was a YEAR ago, with no notice, done wrong. Everything is disgusting, spots with dried vomit, dog diarrhea, and the number of roaches and bugs have tripled. There was broken glass in the walkways for weeks. People leave out their trash and dog poop bags filled with feces outside their doors. The trash can meant for MAIL is always stacked with garbage. Their solution was to take it away for months and put it back with a MAIL ONLY label on it, which didn't work. The actual garbage area is a COUPLE of steps away. There are two dog areas with poop bags right in front of them and people still don't pick up their dog's feces, there are dog feces right next to the trash that is meant for it. It's disgusting and can potentially make someone's animal sick. It always stinks of dog urine in the building's garden area, people are too lazy to walk their dogs a couple of steps to the dog area. The cleaning lady "cleans" random stuff that is not necessary, she cleaned the stairs ONCE because there was some gross juice or vomit all over it and left soapy water on the stairs with no hazard sign. The gym is always open because they changed the lock and haven't given out the keys, it's been months. It took them three years to fix one of the gym equipment. They cleaned the pool once since the change. Their website has fake pictures that are not even of the complex. Maintenance is horrible at communication, and on top of that it takes them MONTHS to fix simple things, for example, we had a light that went out and that took THREE months to replace, we had to report it and email them multiple times because they kept ignoring us and deleting the requests. This happened multiple times with different requests even critical ones. The residents were complaining because there are cracks forming in the wall, HUGE ones, they told us it was the paint and that they would come to cover it up, that was about a year ago and they haven't mentioned anything about it since. The newer residents have absolutely no respect for their neighbors, quiet hours are NOT quiet, and management refuses to do anything about it. The residents stomp the floors, do laundry, throw stuff around, move furniture, slam doors, and scream at each other late or in the middle of the night. They told us to deal with the noise ourselves and ask around because they are too afraid of residents denying it. They won't even warn them with letters or emails or phone calls. The last management was always on top of noise complaints and would take care of them immediately. People smoke all types of things on their balconies. I have seen multiple units with people out on the balcony screaming and talking in the middle of the night. There are children throwing things from the third floor down and running the hallways late at night. People drive crazy fast in the parking lot, play loud music, and rev their engines, not only during the day but in the middle of the night. During school times, the last management would chain the entrance close to the middle school so people wouldn't park in the parking lot and wait for their kids to get out of school, they don't do that anymore and the chain has just been there on the ground and of course, the parents come and park in the parking lot. There are multiple exposed wires all around the place, and broken lights too. They raised the rent and had the audacity to say that they provide exceptional service. If you go up one street to Albion road and compare the complex cleanliness, pool, gym, locks, parking, management, and maintenance, you will LAUGH at how ridiculous it is here. We didn't have any problems with the last management, except for people not picking up their dog's feces. I'm sure there is so much more that I have missed. Do not apply to live here unless you want to rip your hairs off your head. read more

Well, it's about that time. I have been living in this complex for 5 yrs and 7mos. I was the first tenant in the whole complex and I have loved living in Seville. I am only relocating because I met my fiance 5 yrs ago and now we have a new home. I have loved living here. I had the pleasure of knowing Grace, first Lease Mgr, Yolanda- 2nd mgr and Erin, current Lease Mgr. All great women who has managed Seville and whom I will miss. I had applied to this complex prior to build and I was still in NJ. Relocated to NorCal in 2008 and moved in Oct 2008. I have history and it has been great. New addition to the office is Andrea and she is such a pleasure to speak with. I will miss them, miss Seville, miss San Ramon as I had called this my home for the last 6yrs. I only wish them the best and success. This complex is so convenient since the middle school is right up front from the complex, high school is across the street and everything is about 30 min in many directions to other cities. Plus, Seville is located in one of the best cities in the Bay. I can go on and on. But I think I've said enough. Love Seville Apartments and will miss my girls at the office. I also want to mention that I will also miss Alex- the best maintenance ever. read more

I feel so fortunate for my children and I to have found such a wonderful apartment home to live in. From the moment I arrived back in November of 2014, Property Manager Erin and Assistant Manager Andrea, have been unbelievably helpful and have gone above and beyond to make my application process and move-in, as smooth as can be. They are both extremely knowledgable, honest, and create an ongoing sense of safety and welcoming. Any maintenance requests are handled as quickly and efficiently as possible. The staff is respectful and makes sure to notify of their arrival time, as well as keeping me informed of any updates. The grounds are landscaped and beautifully kept by a wonderful, friendly staff. What I love the most here are the spacious, beautiful grounds and the contemporary, yet cozy, generous apartment homes that utilize space well. Horrible! The worst place to live. Everyday there is something whether it's alarms going off cause they need to check them every two weeks or the water going out or the balcony inspections or the lawn mower or the blower standing by your window for 30 mins non stop at 9am! Some people work nights and need some sleep in the mornings and this places doesn't give anyone any peace or rest! There's always something going on! Can't wait for my lease to end so I can get the hell out of this annoying dump! Management is nosy and annoying they always want to stop by and snoop on tenants. Your given a balcony in which you can't put anything in and it has to be clear all the time if you do put any box or items even a bike or chair to sit there's a notice on your door the next day to move it all out or else their gonna evict you! How lame and annoying! There is no peace or quiet living here! It's always loud, lousy, and noisy. I would never recommend anyone to live here. The rent goes up every year which is ridiculous for all this bs! read more

She is new to Property Management and tends to be in everyones business a little too much. Yolanda tries to put fear in her tenants by threatening with eviction letters which hold very little weight once you speak with her supervisor.......... I think it is a sad case of power going to a persons head......... Good luck w Seville Apts.... There are plenty of other Apts in the Neighborhood that have more professional onsite Property managers. I suggest looking into them first...... Good Luck! read more

I Lived in Seville for 7 years and was happy there in till the rents were increased by large amounts. $300.00 -$400.00+ . a year. When I moved out I left keys and forwarding address in office mailbox. I called next day to make sure manager received. Yes she confirmed it. a week later I received a statement to my new address showing the amount of my return deposit. After waiting, and waiting. I looked up cal. laws for refunds. It stated 21 days So I call the office and talk to manager, she states she has to call corp. When she calls me back she states That she didn't have a forwarding address, that's funny cause I got the statement from them . Told me they mailed it to my old address. They know I don't live there anymore. And they had it for the statement, but not for the check. Don't think they are being honest. So 52 days and still waiting to get my deposit back. They make moving in a lot easier then moving out. read more

Seville at Gale Ranch is a wonderful complex with fantastic management and a very polite and well trained staff. I have had the pleasure of living here for about a year and a half. The previous leasing manager, Yolanda, as well as the current leasing manager, Erin, are very easy to work with and extremely friendly and courteous. The new assistant manager, Andrea, is also all of these things and already familiar with the property. What a great crew. The property, only having been built less than 10 years ago, is always kept up looking clean and neat. Due to a severe drought the staff is unable to power wash as frequently as they used to, but that hasn't kept them from being able to maintain the cleanliness of the Seville Apartment complex. It's very impressive. The units themselves have high ceilings which lend themselves to feeling very spacious, even the smaller units. The large bathroom as well as the large closet space is difficult to find in any other complex for the amazing deal this place offers. I will definitely miss living here as this complex is nestled in the San Ramon hills, 2 minutes away from the grocery store, and only 10 minutes away from both 580 and 680. The convenience of location, the beauty of the landscape, professionalism of the staff, and the kindness and courtesy of the leasing management have all lent to a wonderful experience here at the Seville Apartments. read more

Ok, I don't know where the above reviews live, but where I live is horrendous . My wife and I have lived here for over six years...and yes, when we first moved in , it was very nice and quite and we were very happy, but ever since they allowed pets it has gone downhill. We are surrounded by barking dogs all day and sometimes in the late night hours. We live on the second floor and live underneath a family with 2 kids who have ADHD( attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and they're constantly jumping up and down on our ceilings sometimes for hours at a time. We've complained to management at least 30 times over 3 yrs with no results. We are surrounded by numerous families with screaming kids. We've asked to be moved to another unit but they will not move us. The weekends are very noisy with people being very loud outside the units with no care about their neighbors. Living next to the stairwell is pure hell. People are very noisy going up and down stairs...no privacy..sometimes I feel like fish in a fish bowl cause people stair as you watch TV as they go down the stairs. I have to admit..alot has changed in 6 years..it was a nice quite place...but it has turned "ghetto" almost a "skid row" atmosphere ...I've caught some people just let their dogs pee and poop right outside their front doors...and they just leave it there, I mean ..come on at least walk them to the sidewalk. All I gotta say is thank god we're moving into our new house in six months. The reason it gets 2 stars is only because my bedroom window has a nice view and I like the location in San Ramon. read more
