I had a great experience here! I needed a few bandanas embroidered for my dogs...Teresa was very responsive and professional on the phone. She told me to drop off the items at her house (she works out of a very impressive setup in her garage). I went by the next day and she and her husband were there along with their many critters. I'm a huge animal lover so this way a major bonus for me to meet Tut, the Siamese Cat & Guido, the Pot Belly Pig. She is very welcoming and warm. She made sure to take lots of notes on exactly what I wanted done to ensure we were on the same page with everything. She finished VERY quickly and the results were nothing short of adorable! Sew Good Embroidery is wonderful! Theresa was wonderful in helping me decide where we wanted to embroider a special message on a gift for a coach. She was just back from a week away, took the time to help figure out exactly what we would say and had the item finished and ready before the date we decided on! The only reason they didn't receive 5 stars from me was because they said they'd call at the end of the week when my order was ready, but they never called me. The only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because the work was done. On 2/14 I brought in two items to be embroidered. At the time I stated I needed the items by 2/22 for a bridal shower on 2/23 and was told it would be done and I would be called when they were finished. On 2/21, I called to check the status and was told there was a family emergency and the owner was out of town. I was disappointed, but I understood and was told the items were finished and I could pick them up on Monday. This is where I have an issue. I called on Monday and the recording stated the shop was closed on Mondays and open the remainder of the week at 11am. On Wednesday, I went to the shop at 11 am and it was closed. I waited around a few minutes and called. I left a message asking that I be contacted to make arrangements for pick up. I never received a return call. Today I went down again at 12:45pm and again the business was closed. I called again and was informed they were out to lunch and would return at 1:15pm. I left and returned at 2:45pm, only to find the business was still closed. Another call and I was told they would be there in a few minutes. I waited around and finally the business opened and I was able to get my items. The work is very nice, but I won't be returning to have other items done here as it wasn't worth the time and energy it took for what should have been a simple task. read more
