I was at the end of embroidering a large order of burgees/flags and my machine was making a lot of noise so I decided to open it up and investigate the matter and apply some oil. When I put it back together and started to embroider, it won't stitch properly or catch the bobbin thread. Now I'm in panic mode because I needed to finish my order before my deadline. Mr. Norman came to my rescue when I wanted my mother's sewing machine looked at and repaired if necessary. He picked it up at my house during a busy holiday time for him. He delivered the sewing machine to my house within a few days. It was repaired, lubricated and cleaned. It works like a charm. Every other Sewing company that I called to inquire if they could repair an old singer machine told me that I had to drop it off with an enormous upfront $200-$300 fee and told me that they would have to let me know what the repair and parts would be as needed for an additional fee. David and Linda are so very nice - but David is a genius! I had given up on my Brother SE400 that only sewed backwards. As an afterthought, I brought it out to give to David along with my SE625 that was popping up an error message and wouldn't sew for more than a few seconds at a time. I recently found this business to repair my older Singer sewing machine. Many places would not even look at it! Mr. Norman didn't even hesitate! He even came to pick it up! He took it apart, said it was a solid little machine and after being repaired, said I could probably used it another 40 years! I found a very good tech to service my serger at Sewing Repair Solutions. Mr. David Norman has a unique business because he picks up your machine and delivers it back to you. My Babylock Ovation serger was bought in 2013 and I had never taken the time to have it serviced. This was my main serger but because it didn't need repair, I had not taken it anywhere to be oiled. With newer machines it's not possible for the owner to oil them, as It requires a tech to open them up and do it. I was very pleased with the service and my serger looks like new again. read more
