I brought my 1994 Mercedes E420 in for service after several mechanics were unable to find the source causing the engine light. He meticulously and methodically went through the entire engine and detected multiple problem, solving the issue. I happened upon this shop looking for someone to repair a dent that hurt my soul on the tailgate of my X3. Karoosh, who probably lives on high octane fuel, hooked me up. This shop is an auto mechanic, not a body shop but he has hookups all over the city. A text and couple pics later and my dent was repaired, repainted and about 1k less than any other body shop wanted to charge me and done in under a week with no scheduling months out. After calling around to a few BMW mechanics in the city to service the suspension on my much loved 2001 M3, I landed on SF European. I needed an alignment, and the owner, Koorosh wasn't phased by the fact that I had aftermarket wheels and sports springs. In fact, he embraced it with open arms, and was happy to dial it in for me. Whereas other shops would only do the basic, stock settings. When I arrived, his shared passion for BMW's was immediately evident in looking my car over, talking with me, and showing me around his grand collection of fine automobiles. This was the most unique and probably best experience I have ever had at a mechanic or auto-body shop. 1) Koorosh stayed open late and was patient as I fought SF traffic to get to him. 2) He spent 2 hours of his time (from 7pm to past 9pm) educating me and diagnosing issues I was having with my Lexus IS 350 that was causing it not to pass smog; he diagnosed the general health of the car as well. 3) He cleaned my custom air filter and had to disassemble and reassemble the box that housed it, drilling precise holes into it and adding new ties so it was better than how it came to him. 4) I will be coming back to get some more work done on the catalytic converter In summary, SF European went above and beyond normal customer service and the shop itself is quite impressive. read more

Couldn't be happier with the results SF European delivered! I was crossing the Bay Bridge on the way to SF this Friday night with a horrible grinding noise of my car brakes. Had to Google a local auto repair shop and SF European was the only place that was still open at 7pm! I really needed my vehicle fixed that same night as I had to drive to Sacramento and Koorosh worked extra hours and stayed late to make it happen. He really took care of my situation like his own and I couldn't feel more blessed. Koorosh replaced the brake rotors and pads, checked my engine light. I first encountered Koorosh a month ago in what I can now view only as serendipity. He came to my house to pick up an old rusted out BMW that my son had been given, but decided he would be unable to restore and was re-gifting to Koorosh. I mentioned to Koorosh that I had a 2000 BMW E39 that I could not get to pass smog testing because of numerous check engine codes. Also the automatic transmission was shifting roughly along with transmission service light displaying. My regular mechanic was recommending replacement of transmission torque converter for $1,800. Koorosh offered to diagnose my check engine codes and verify the transmission repair recommendation from my regular mechanic. When I brought my BMW to Koorosh, he first determined that I had a non-OEM battery that was not compatible with the car's precisely engineered systems. He ordered and installed a new battery and reset the car's computer system. He explained the importance of installing genuine BMW parts to get optimum performance from the car. He also detected a problem with the car's air flow sensor, which he speculated could be triggering the various check engine codes, and even the transmission shifting issues to my disbelief. I authorized him to order and install an OEM air flow sensor, and wouldn't you know it - Koorosh WAS RIGHT! Check engine and transmission lights disappeared, and car runs and shifts smoother than it ever has during the 5 years I've had it.
