THIN-SLICED, LARGE SLICES! SF Hole In The Wall is a well-known pizzeria in Riverside located right off the 215 freeway and nestled in a cozy shopping plaza. It's got excellent pepperoni pizza, I ordered two slices and my order was ready in less than 10 mins. My slices came straight out of the oven! Two slices were about $13 bucks all together. The ingredients were high-quality (sauce, cheese, meat), everything was fresh. SF has a few tables inside but it's not a large space. Most folks come in and order to-go. However, the place was full during happy hour on Saturday afternoon! SF HITW has a small restroom for guests. I took a trip to the restroom while my order was being prepared and I could hear my name called. Service was pretty speedy and solid, the only issue I encountered was the cashier leaving the counter unattended to chat with her coworkers. When I was ready to pick-up my slices about two minutes later after I exited the restroom, I found myself waiting in front of the counter. Thankfully, another staff member got her attention and we were back in business. My slice was in a warmer while it waited for me, they were super nice! I'll definitely return to this pizzeria! I'm excited to try their other meats and options.

Haven't been to this shopping center for a while but this pizza place gave me a reason to return. What I liked is this place had beef pepperoni for those who don't eat pork. I had half cheese and pepperoni. The beef pepperoni tasted the same as your traditional pepperoni. I would say the pizza is similar to New York style, but not really cheesy. Pizza here is better than majority of pizza places in the IE, couldn't say that had better yet. I do give the pizza high marks for eating in the day after putting it in the oven. The pizza is on the pricy side but it is a nice experience going to a place that's meant to look like pizza establishment that's been there for years.

SF Hole In The Wall Pizza is an interesting concept since the only other location is in San Francisco. Everyone was very friendly and the pizza was good. There were a few tables inside and out if you dine in. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and worth returning to.

Would give 0 stars if possible. 2 kids didn't even want to finish it...kids love pizza so you effed up obviously somewhere... It tastes like Costco pizza. Down to the level of grease. At least costco employees wear hair nets and gloves when they serve you a slice. The cashier girl/slice attendee had a LONG chunk of hair that wasn't part of her ponytail swaying all over the slices that thankfully didn't get served to me, but to another customer unbeknownst to them. The inside is ok, two sets of customers sitting there at 5pm on a Tuesday isn't bad but it ain't busy. Some pizza sitting there looked a little Overcooked, thankfully the cheese pizza wasn't. $6 for a slice is way overcharging. Maybe if this was artisanal pizza...but it's not.

Pizza is consistently excellent. We usually order the meat lovers with olives & mushrooms. Loved their specials during the World Cup representing different countries. Service is always friendly and accommodating. We order pick up often. Wish they were closer to me in Ontario, but well worth the drive.

A co worker ordered her lunch here, had it delivered so I thought I would stop in and try it since it's new. I ordered two calzones, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, sausage and pepperoni plus 2 Caesar salads. I took a little longer than expected, their fryer was down; not sure why Italian sausage would be in a fryer. Nice sturdy cardboard pizza box, not soggy; appreciated that. Small, clean pioza joint. Beers and soft drinks available, large menu. Service was very good. When I cut into the calzone at home, a liquid cheese came out instead of stretchy cheese, hmmm. For $15, it should've been stuffed with pepperoni and sausage, maybe I should've ordered more ingredients. Wonderful flavors, a good marinara sauce. Salad was mixed greens and fresh with plenty of croutons. We might come back and try their other dishes which looked good.

(3.5/5) This little hole-in-the-wall pizza spot serves fresh pies--nothing over the top, but decent. I wish the crust had been a bit crispier. They advertise NY-style, but it just didn't give me that true New York vibe. We walked in right during a small rush. The cooks looked a bit stressed, moving back and forth in a hectic rhythm, which made the atmosphere feel slightly chaotic. The pizza itself was good, but I left wanting more flavor and texture. Side note (because I notice these things): I spotted a dirty fork under the counter near the register. I also saw someone empty the trash and then immediately serve slices without washing their hands. One cook kept wiping sweat on their apron. Little things, but they stuck out to me. Overall, it's a decent local stop if you're nearby, but not a must-visit for me.

Meat lover slice. Big and delicious! Such a variety to choose from here.

Pizza by the slice and more, that's what this recent addition to the intersection of Spruce and Chicago brings. Occupying what was once the massive former location of Mario's Place, it's nice to have an Italian establishment reappear here. Inside there's a small dining area, and a display showing all the available pizzas by the slice, as well as pasta and other things prepared to order in the kitchen. My first visit was picking up pizzas to deliver, but i liked what I saw and ordered ahead online. Spaghetti and meatballs plus a slice of meat lovers, which was heated up and nicely boxed. The pasta was great great, too, and I got a second meal from that as leftovers. The slices are pretty hefty, and justify the $6-9 price range. Toppings are also excellent quality. The owners are very nice people and welcoming, I forgot to photograph the second visit items because I was so hungry, but I plan to keep working my way around the menu soon.

I am pretty picky when it comes to my pizza but i will say I was pleasantly surprised when i went to SF hole in the wall pizza. We got their lunch speacil which included a slice of pizza and a beer ( we substituted for soda) all for 8 dollars. I chose to get the combo classic and my bf got the aloha slice. Both were a great size and covered with lots of toppings. My friend also ordered the phillycheeseteak fries which ended up being our favorite. A unique combination i have not had before and definitely will be going back to get again. Service was very friendly and fast we did not have to wait long for our food and they even walked it out to us as we chose to sit in their patio seating. Highly suggested checking this place out.

I'll keep it short and sweet. Was the pizza good? Sure was. Was it worth $8? Not even close. Maybe $5. Service was nice and friendly though and they had the football games on so it might warrant a return to dine in maybe get a full pizza and a beer since they also sell alcohol. For now - 3.5 stars.

Staff are super cool and the pizza here is soo good We got the Hangover Hawaiian and the bacon jalapeño on a Hawaiian pizza is next level. Pizza came out super soft, crispy and juicy Huge pizza for 43 bucks, 16 slices between the four of us, we were starving and couldn't even finish it- planning to come back for sure..

As a NY transplant, I'm always on the lookout for places that can recreate that East Coast flavor. This spot opened up recently and saw they sold NY style pizzas and slices. I took advantage of a DoorDash deal because why not save a few bucks? There's so much you can gauge about an establishment and quality just by their cheese pizza. It's simple and so delicious when done right and they got theirs right! It's got that NY taste. Thin crust that crisps up nicely on the outside but stays soft on the inside. Reheats really well in a frying pan! Also enjoyed their calzones. Included in the price is up to four toppings for the build your own. I added garlic, spinach, ricotta cheese and Italian sausage and it was delicious. Bonus points because they use pizza crust liners for their pizza boxes to help keep the pizzas fresh during transport which is a great touch!

The Lobster Ravioli was served with a cream sauce and a lot of flavor. The Chicken Marsala was without a doubt the best I've ever tasted and was served a vegetable medley. Service was attentive but also a little slow at times. Some of the slowness may have been caused by the kitchen being very busy. The restaurant is noisy and busy. However, it was noticeable that she was spending much more time on the phone and behind the bar than tending to the tables, which contributed to the slow service. Unfortunately, her attitude also came across as beyond rude at times. Our appetizer (which consisted of solely a basket of bread) came out long before the entrees, leaving a significant gap between courses. I was also surprised that there were no paper menus with descriptions of the dishes. (Apparently their menu can change 3-4x per day??) We had to Google several items ourselves to figure out what they were before ordering, since the server was nowhere to be found a majority of the time; which made the experience less enjoyable. The food itself was good and authentic, but the service and overall dining experience left a lot to be desired. Likely will not return.

I got fettuccine alfredo with broccoli, my wife got the mushroom artichoke fettuccine with their marinara. One of us got the italian bread and the other the garlic, so we could try both. Can't say it was an unforgettable-tasting meal, but was at least as good as other restaurants nearby. Our waitress said she was relatively new, but she was very attentive and we never felt like it was hard to get her help or attention. Wish I had gotten her name to pay her a more formal compliment. It also happened to be one of their spaghetti special days, and $9.99 spaghetti with salad and bread is a great value. When we do come back it'll definitely be on another special day. Can't think of another Italian place nearby with the same portions for that price. My one and only complaint- I felt like the music was a HUGE missed opportunity. We went seeking cozy, and the old style booths provided a bit of that, but they were playing current country music hits the whole time. Would have totally completed the package and checked every box had they played something a little more on-theme. Nothing wrong with country music, but in a small, cozy italian restaurant, it would've been so much more immersive to play something Italian, or at least classical. The staff did correct a mix-up and even gave us an extra piece of tiramisu and cappuccinos to go. Afterward, we took them to the park as the fireworks began at Mount Rubidoux. I remember bringing my own children here when they were young, and now I get to continue that tradition with my grandchildren. No, it's not high-end Italian dining, and it doesn't try to be. What it does offer is a family-friendly atmosphere, comforting food, and a place where kids are genuinely excited to visit. My grandkids love the butter pasta just as much as I do, and it's always a guaranteed win when we dine here. We recently stopped by after their school recital, and they were absolutely thrilled when we were seated in the trolley. Their excitement alone made the visit memorable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, service was prompt, this location tends to be quieter than many family restaurants, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal. For me, this place isn't just about the food it's about the memories and the spumoni ice cream . Watching my grandchildren enjoy the same restaurant that my children loved years ago is something I treasure. We'll definitely continue coming back for years to come

Extremely disgusting, the manager offer to replace our food with something else but my appetite was gone and my stomach was feeling kind of weird. Tasting the chicken like that it actually ruined the whole experience. Also, we order meatballs, they were not tender like they are supposed to be. Would I recommend this place? NO! I think there are better places with better food than here. As I was typing this here at the restaurant, my wife just informed me that her lasagna was not good either, the pasta was over cooked and mushy (my wife replace her chicken parm for lasagna). Funny thing is that while we're waiting to get a table an older gentleman told us "this is the shittiest food I ever had" my wife and I looked at each other and laugh because we did not believe him but he was 10000000% right. PS The manager tried to blame me for not liking the chicken, but how can I like something that half was really tender and the other have was not? She said, it all depends on the customer's preference! Really lady? I had two different texture in one piece of chicken. I am 46 years old and I have eaten a lot of chicken in my life so I know when something is not right. Accountability is very important instead of trying to blame the customer.

We ordered the following - Pork Belly deviled eggs 9/10 Just a little salty but very tasty, eggs taste fresh and not like they were left in the fridge. - pepperoni pizza 9/10 it was a bit greasy and oily but it was tasty - Antipasto 8/10 the dressing was delicious, not overly vinegary, it was balanced. The meat and cheese were fresh as well. - Hot Pastrami Sandwich 8/10 The pastrami was good but I feel that the bread needed to be toasted. Other than that it was good. Ambiance wasn't loud so we were able to enjoy ourselves.

Service Blows... Pizza was good, but the overall experience was disappointing…read more Back in its heyday, Romano's had three locations, and all three started out great. Unfortunately, each one declined over time until it eventually closed, leaving just one location standing. After this visit, it's easy to see the writing on the wall. We were seated, and when our server came to take our drink order, we ordered our food at the same time to save time. There were only three other parties in the restaurant, and one had already been served. Despite that, it took 50 minutes for a single large hand tossed pizza to arrive you heard it 50 minutes for a hand tossed not a deep dish but hand tossed. I eventually had to flag down the only waitress to ask what was taking so long because we had a movie to get to. To top it off, we weren't offered drink refills until after we had finished our meal. The pizza was enjoyable, but the service was painfully slow and inattentive. It was a frustrating experience that reminded me of the long waits and lackluster service you'd expect at Shakey's, not the Romano's I remember.
