The receptionist is nice, as well as most of the people I've dealt with. However, my experience with the service received has been terrible. I first picked up my custom orthotics on July 8th. They were very uncomfortable, but I was told it could take several weeks to break them in, but I could bring them in for an adjustment if there wasn't improvement. I went back to my surgeon for a follow up in early August and advised him of the continuing discomfort. He said they were too high for my arch and needed to be cut down. I went back to SG on August 8th and informed them of my discomfort and what the surgeon had said. The ortho tech took the orthotics, cut and modified them and added a foam cushion. I advised them they were still not comfortable and that the cushion made them fit even tighter in my shoe. He said there wasn't much more he could do to modify them without messing with the integrity of them being custom. He said that I should again give myself time to adjust to them and that I could bring them back in if they still didn't feel right. I called back in September and asked if my orthotics could be redone because of what the earlier tech had said about not being able to do much more. I was told that I needed to come in and be seen and they would determine whether or not they would redo them. I went in on 9/16/24 and saw a different tech. I explained what had transpired up to this point. I asked if he needed to see me walk in the orthotics. He said no, they already had me down to redo them. Turns out, they created them with the wrong codes that were given to them. The codes they received were pediatric for a teen's foot that could still be molded. Mind you, I'm in my '60's. When I showed up, why would you not advise me that there had obviously been a mistake and a new referral would need to be submitted? I have been walking around since July with these "pediatric" orthotics. Why didn't they correct it the first time I came back complaining of discomfort on August 8th. On top of all of this, I was scheduled to go back on 9/30 to pick up the new ones. I was told they were putting a rush on them and hopefully they would be in. I was given a back up appointment for later in the month. I called the Friday before to check to see if they had come in. After being transferred a couple of times, they could not give me an answer as they said they couldn't reach anyone in that department. On the Sunday before my appointment I received a text confirming/reminding me of my appointment. Something told me to still call as I was going to be driving in from LA. Again, after being transferred around, they were finally able to tell me that the orthotics had not come in. Had I not ignored the confirmation text and called in, when were they going to let me know? Just terrible. I've had a very frustrating experience with this medical office due to ongoing communication and coordination issues. My doctor has sent authorization, test results, and prescriptions multiple times, yet the office repeatedly claims they are missing different parts of the same paperwork. Each time I follow up, I receive conflicting information--at one point I'm told they have two of the three items, then later only one of three. There is no consistency or clear tracking of what has actually been received. I was told a supervisor would call me back, but that never happened. I have also sent multiple emails through their website and have not received a meaningful response or resolution. Overall, there appears to be a serious breakdown in internal communication and follow-through, which has caused significant delays and frustration in my care. read more

Over 3 hours on the phone with SG Homecare's only line of communication which is an off-shore desk with no authority to provide any useful information or resolution. Imagine waking up at 2 AM to the sound of an alarm beeping repeatedly like a siren. You wake up out of your sleep, startled to realize your mother's oxygen is not working. Turning the device off and on pulling it out from the wall is the only option. A little white button wiggly on the front of the unit that doesn't push in or out seems like it might be something you wanna try. I plug it back in turn it back on and it's running temporarily only to hear the siren again at 3 AM of course doing the same action. But also adding calling the customer service helpline putting the report in without a lot of effort. I get a phone call back from the on-call team and I get someone who is insensitive annoyed at receiving the phone call as if I'm bothering him at his home and unwilling to listen if I'm not doing things how he feels they should be done. It's sad how Great Customer Service is no longer quality you receive In 2025. The guy, I ended up speaking with on three separate occasions, trying to exchange a oxygen concentrator a second time. Which the unit did not work at all didn't even turn on and off. He refused to send a second concentrator out to me. It seemed pretty much like retaliation Because he felt I didn't let him troubleshoot a unit that doesn't have any indicators other than an on and off button and an indication light with color that was not working at all. So in retaliation to me not troubleshooting with him he decided to put my mother's life in danger because cylinder oxygen tanks often Run out faster than they should and with that being said, he put my mother's life in jeopardy because he was annoyed personally with his job, which is Customer Service SG home care is known as one of the worst DME companies in the i.e. I don't suggest anyone give their business to SG home care at all. No one should have to set up and watch their parent breathe just to make sure the tank does not run out. The fear of watching someone struggle for life is unexplainable. read more

Sadly, this organization has been the worst and most troublesome entity to deal with - unable or unwilling to post payments, needed supplies have been withheld and contact is laborious and after verbal guarantees of resolution - the errors repeat. Complaints go without appropriate response and harassment for additional (and certainly unwarranted) monies continue. If I wasn't for being compelled to use this provider by my IPA, I certainly would not. Let the buyer beware! read more
