Angela was very helpful, patient and we were able to find the CPAP mask I wanted. Not sure why the website is so "lean".

They did not call when asked by my doctor. Also, they do not accept Medicare as payment. Not very accommodating.

My mom was initially placed in a three-bed room with a very loud patient, making it difficult for her to rest. Krystal went out of her way to find a quieter room that happened to be available and arranged for my mom to be moved so she could have a more restful night. My mom was extremely appreciative, and so was I. The entire staff on the unit was wonderful, but Crystal truly went above and beyond. Her compassion, attentiveness, and willingness to advocate for her patient made a difficult situation much more comfortable. I would also like to recognize the echo technician who cared for my mom. She had initially requested a female technician, but his kindness, professionalism, and respectful demeanor immediately put her at ease. He earned her trust right away, and she felt completely comfortable in his care. His professionalism and compassionate approach made a lasting impression on both of us. I would also like to recognize Jackie , CNA ( I believe that's her name) . She has a very boisterous personality that immediately brightened the atmosphere on the unit. Not only was she incredibly helpful, but her hard-working attitude and comedic sense of humor made a positive impact on everyone around her. She balanced professionalism with a lighthearted approach that helped put patients and families at ease. Her energy, dedication, and ability to bring smiles to those around her did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciated her efforts. Nursing is not an easy profession, and Crystal's dedication, kindness, and professionalism did not go unnoticed. The exceptional care provided by Crystal, the echo technician, Rena, and the rest of the staff reflects the very best of patient-centered care. Thank you all for making a difference during my mom's hospital stay.

I was present on March 31, 2026, at 8:55 AM, and consulted with Dr. Daniel Scott…read more I arrived with significant ear pain, and the service provided by Daniel Scott was exemplary. He efficiently removed the wax from my ear, restoring my hearing, and prescribed antibiotics to alleviate the pain. Additionally, the registered nurses were exceptional, persistently assisting in clearing my ear. The nurses were exceedingly kind, and the doctor was highly informative about each procedure and its rationale. I spent nearly four hours there, during which all the staff were courteous.   Also I was so hungry and feeling dizzy and the nurse got me a sandwich that was so nice from my nurse she was amazing The check-in process is efficient; your name is recorded, after which a nurse calls you to assess your vitals and inquire about the purpose of your visit. I propose an enhancement of privacy; now, all conversations are audible, since we are situated in an open waiting area where others can overhear personal reasons for seeing the doctor, resulting in a complete lack of privacy. I could discern the rationale and concerns of each individual; yet, that location is located at the entryway, compromising privacy since it exposes one's affairs to public knowledge. The check-in process for payment is efficient, and the staff is kind while recording your insurance information. Overall, everyone is polite and professional. I appreciate the kindness of the staff; every individual, including the security guard who records your name, was pleasant and amiable. The emergency room is clean, the bathrooms are well-maintained, and the whole service is commendable. The chairs are comfortable, thankfully not made of harsh plastic, which enhances the experience. Thank you. To the Manager: Please establish a more secluded area for the check-in process, as it now occurs in a public space where anyone may overhear your detailed conversations with the nurse. Exceptional emergency room, outstanding nurses, staff, and PA Daniel. Scott exhibited a high level of professionalism and contributed to my improved well-being.

Drove back here and one of the doctors I met back in September of 2025 told me that it's a mild allergic reaction to amoxicillin because it's kind of a common one. I was shocked and gave her that "are you deadass look"? She wasn't joking. Another doctor came in and he took a look at the allergic reaction I had. It wasn't severe or anything. He took a sample from my throat to see if it was anything else. He was really reassuring.

I've been coming to this urgent care since around 2020 and have been a returning patient over the years. Until now, I've never had a reason to complain and have generally had positive experiences. This visit, however, was very disappointing. I scheduled what was advertised as an "appointment" through the urgent care's website, expecting that my reserved time would reduce my wait. After arriving, checking in, and waiting for over 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist about the delay. I was then told that the appointment doesn't actually begin until you physically check in at the clinic, meaning patients are essentially placed into the same queue as walk-ins. What concerns me most is that this information was not made clear when I scheduled online. Instead, the explanation was provided only after I arrived at the clinic through a notice at check-in. In my opinion, that's too late. If an online "appointment" does not reserve a specific place in line or appointment time, that should be clearly disclosed on the website before patients book--not after they've already taken time out of their day to come in. To me, advertising an appointment system without clearly explaining how it actually works is misleading. Patients reasonably expect that an appointment reserves a time for them. If the process is really first come, first served after check-in, that should be communicated upfront so people can make an informed decision. Many people choose urgent care instead of the emergency room because they want timely care for non-emergency issues. A scheduling system that functions like a walk-in line defeats that purpose and creates unnecessary frustration. As someone who has been a loyal, returning patient for years, this experience has unfortunately changed my opinion of this clinic. Because of this policy and the lack of transparency, I no longer feel comfortable returning. It's disappointing to say, but they have lost my business. I'm sharing my experience so others know what to expect, and I sincerely hope the clinic improves its communication by being honest and transparent about how its scheduling process actually works. Patients deserve accurate information before they book an appointment--not after they've already arrived.

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I came to this urgent care when I sliced my fingertip and…read moreleft with damage to my finger which cost me thousands of dollars and multiple additional dr's visits to repair. When I arrived, the nurse submerged my wound in pure iodine then left the room, telling me to leave it in until she came back. It hurt so badly and she was gone for so long that I had to take it out. I called for help but was not heard. When she finally came back I had taken my hand out of the iodine and was bleeding into the sink. A dr came in and began using silver nitrate on a stick to seal the wound. I have since learned that this was wholly unnecessary. He kept doing it over and over again, even after I was crying and telling him I couldn't handle the pain again. During this time, another dr wandered in and started looking for things in a drawer. My finger was now charred black and swollen. The dr treating me then put dermaglue over the caustic chemical and I was advised not to wash it off for 7 days. This advice was incorrect. I was later told that I was supposed to wash it off the following day. When he was finally done, I asked the dr if I should go to the ER, as I suspected by this point that something had gone wrong. He kind of scoffed at me and said "unless they have a plastic surgeon there's no point. You're fine." The glue over the nitrate caused such severe pain that I ended up in the ER that night anyway. Following this, the silver nitrate under the glue caused an infection which required a procedure to remove the glue from my skin. by this point my nail had grown over some of the debris from the glue, and this caused repeat infections while I waited for a more extensive surgery to remove the nail itself. When I called San Feliz urgent care to ask that I, at minimum, do not pay for the appointment where this happened, I was argued with by the staff member. She went back and forth with me claiming that I could be lying about the advice given by doctors after my visit. She claimed she'd have a supervisor call me back and this never happened. My appointment was charged on an auto-pay, and they also charged my insurance the full cost of the visit. I feel in need of an advocate to help me navigate the situation further. This situation cost me days of work, 4 months of pain and uncertainty, and so much money. Please, please go anywhere else. I wish I had found a different urgent care that night.

They are understaffed and allowed my loved one to suffer terribly for more than 24 hours until they got around to sending someone over to treat. After they finally initiated treatment, they were negligent in their follow-up nursing care and I, a family member, had to coordinate care each day to make sure a nurse was coming to administer medication. Their excuse was that they didn't have the staff available to provide care. Secondly, once doctor's orders changed, they didn't bother to update the patient's chart at the Assisted Living facility so Assisted Living staff was administering medications and dosages not in line with the doctor's orders. Finally, they never provided the signed Death Certificate. I had to call repeatedly pleading with them to provide the Certificate, but they refused saying it was the responsibility of her previous doctor which is completely incorrect. It is Hospice's responsibility to provide the Death Certificate because they have taken over the patient's care at that point. Once they did agree to provide it, they were again negligent in doing so and it was not provided by them. My family didn't receive the Death Certificate until 3 weeks after my loved one died and it was provided by a medical professional from another practice! This company has caused tremendous pain and suffering to our loved one and to our family. Care Choices is a BAD choice!!!
