I first reached out after losing my previous Persian, Zeus. I wasn't sure I was ready for another kitten, and Vicky was so kind and patient. She answered all of my questions, never pressured me, and was completely understanding when I decided to wait for a later litter until the timing felt right. That meant so much to me. Besides being absolutely adorable, Archie has grown into the sweetest, healthiest, and most playful cat. It's obvious he was raised with so much love and care, and he brings so much joy to our lives. A lot of people would love one. I purchased a sick, hiding, frightened cat that I never saw for it was under the bed all the time. If I tried to pet her head she flinched . She was in opposition to all traits of this Breed. Breeder indicated fights amongst males and her. Dear Cat, she is ill and abused. I tried hard to help this animal to rehabilate; but was not successful. Breeder seemed not too keen in dealing with me; so they blocked my number. "Out of sight: Out of mind". Do your due diligence. I had been looking for a Ragdoll Breeder online as I could not find one in my area and most of the breeders I had found online wanted you to put a non-refundable deposit for a kitten that has not even born yet and you have not be able to see in person. I picked a breeder that I thought would be a good one, but I started seeing some red flags and I did get 1/2 of my non-refundable deposit back. Then I found Cheryl (Rock N Rags Ragdoll Cattery in La Mirada,Ca) and I am so grateful I did!!! I knew the minute I emailed her that I was in the right place. She does request a check as a deposit but she holds it until you actually go to meet the kittens and see them, play with them to find the perfect match before she cashes your deposit. Cheryl is very helpful and really cares for her cats and kittens. she is honest and her Ragdolls and the kittens are all beautiful, friendly, and most importantly healthy. Since I live about an 1 1/2 hrs from her She even sent me pictures from the time my kitten was born until I picked her up and as soon as I saw her picture I knew what I wanted to name her and Cheryl started calling her that right away so she knew her name at an early age, then when I saw her once she was 8 weeks old after her 1st set of shots I knew she was the one for sure!! I picked up my kitten two weeks ago now and I was also lucky enough to get my kittens mommy too, I am so glad they are able to stay together, they have a wonderful bond and they are both amazing. Kimberly was informative, helpful, and friendly with providing information and letting me see her foster. She was patient and let me spend as much time as I wanted with the kitty to get acquainted with her. Mary handled the application and provided an abundance of information regarding the adoption process and bringing kitty home. She went through our information that we filled out in our application and asked us any questions she needed to know in regards to potential adoption, which makes perfect sense in wanting the best for their foster cats! The volunteers truly care about these cats and it shows. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about adopting a cat to consider Cats in Need Fullerton to find their furrever friend! Don't bother going here or contacting these "volunteers" if you're seriously thinking about…read moreadopting a cat. It's a complete waste of your time, and you'll end up leaving frustrated regardless of what your need is. Read through the reviews posted in 2021, and you can see that they all speak for the same experience I had. Try another rescue. I have 2 separate occasions when I contacted them - (1) when I tried to adopt a second cat, and (2) when I found a stray kitten and tried to get it taken to a rescue. Both occasions went to total trash. For situation #1, I was denied because apparently there are too many coyotes and raccoons living in my area (La Mirada). I live in a area right next to an elementary school where kids walk to school everyday. I've yet to see a coyote or a raccoon in this neighborhood, clearly they don't know their geography and don't do any research. For situation #2, they asked for a photo of the cat, and after sending the pictures no reply ever since. I have a feeling they'll only take kittens that look pretty and would sell for money, which defeats the purpose of a rescue to begin with. Don't waste your time here unless you want to leave with a bad taste in your mouth.
