Please indulge me for a moment, for I would like to share my most recent experience with this team. I own a beautiful diamond and sapphire ring that my mother, who is now deceased, gave to me. I had the appraisal done by a jeweler, that I used prior to finding Dunbar. Unfortunately while on vacation one of the diamonds fell out and was lost. I wasn't too worried since I had the ring insured. I brought the ring to Michael and Hilary, along with the appraisal to have the repair completed. Unfortunately the appraisal that was given from a jeweler who will remain anonymous, was incorrect and quoted the diamonds as half their actual size. Therefore the insurance company was only willing to reimburse me for one-third of the total replacement and repair cost. Chuck and Lucy having listened to my story, offered immediately to compose a letter for me to send to my insurance company, along with the corrected appraisal. Today I was notified that because of the letter and new corrected appraisal, the total repair will be paid by the Insurance Company. Can you imagine my surprise and joy? Especially with the holiday season upon us, this additional expense was going to be difficult. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Chuck and his entire team. They did this for me, with no financial gain for them. The integrity and kindness shown by the Dunbar team will keep them forever, as my number one choice for jewelry!!!
