The taste is on point and the ambiance is nice ! It's a nice experience and fun for a first date, family night out, or just craving frozen yogurt. I took almost every chocolat topping (diabetes in a cup) Overall 3 outta 5, I think of they had more flavour options (and they were working), a friendlier staff, and some tasting options to know what you getting it might be a 5 outta 5. I would definitely go back, maybe it was just a bad timing ‍

I'm a big fan of frozen yogourt and have been loyal to Yeh but after having discovered Menchie's I just wish there were more of 'em, downtown please! For those who say it looks like Yeh, well Menchie's has been around longer so I'm pretty sure everyone else was feeling inspired. This froyo franchise is the real deal. They have something that other chains don't, which is brand recognition: an adorable swirly head mascot, collectible spoons, a real loyalty program (you can register card online, get free gifts on your birthday, a discount after roughly every 50$ spent) etc . They even have your favorite froyo flavored lip balm, how cool is that! It's a bright, cheerful atmosphere with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They are extremely kid friendly, they even have a little room for you to book birthday parties in. Right as you walk in, you notice little taste tester cups for you to sample the flavors - everything is delicious, so it's a hard choice. Lots of toppings, an assortment of candy and fruits although probably more candy to fresh fruits ratio. Many different syrups like chocolate, caramel, strawberry, honey. There's something for everyone. I highly recommend Menchie's, it's more than just a treat, it felt like a unique experience.

Inside it really is a little chocolate heaven! It smells like chocolate and there are big chocolate machines of so many flavours that you need to take a moment to decide what to have. Despite coming from the home of the famous Cadbury factory, I was very impressed by this mini chocolate factory. There is a lot of choice in the shops and also menu so be prepared to be overwhelmed!! In general, I am not an ice cream fan so I decided to go for the smallest size... To my surprise, it was huge - portions are extremely generous and also price is reasonable for the amount you get! I went for the coffee chocolate coating and took a big bite out of it... The contrast between the hard chocolate and the soft ice cream was heavenly, I was able to bite on something yet enjoy the soft whipped ice cream at the same time... A perfect combination! The terrace seating is nice and spacious but the view of the main road really lets it down unfortunately... Overall, so far this the only ice cream that I have so that says a lot for someone who doesn't like ice cream!!

Popular amongsts students and locals, le Palmier Glacee has a range of flavored ice creams from Coaticook/Nestle and soft serve. The menu appears limited however I am sure you can ask to customize your own creations. Prices are very expensive, a simple cone with 1 scoop was almost 5$. The decor is outdated and they spray an obnoxious "tropical" type of air freshener that smells like fake sunscreen. We could not stay here to eat and sat in our cars instead. If you are a Brossard resident, watch out for the free coupons and discounts they send a couple times a year in the mail. The flyer will be in an envelope that advertises for various local businesses as well.

I had the blended frozen yogurt-6$ the prices have gone up significantly. The medium sized option is overly filling. However, as a local non franchised business I support the extra 1$ or 2$ . The milk shakes are popular amongst the youngins. This is definitely a student joint. There is inside tables and seats available for the date, and outside seats as well. Be careful not to speed in the school zone - cops flag this area regularly!

Fancier than your traditional ice cream cone, there is something for all sweet-tooths - and at any size! Everything tasted amazing! The brownie was super fudgy and moist and my husband devoured the NY style cheesecake. They do a similar one filled with candies - those looking like something out of Wonka's Chocolate Factory!! My MIL, who is a massive chocolate fan, had Le Jet Set which is a chocolate-lovers paradise. Filled with everything Ferrero Rocher and Nutella -related. A must for chocolate fans! Seriously, Yelp needs to up its game in Québec, because places like this one aren't getting the attention they deserve. The pulled pork sandwich had a generous amount of meat. The 12-hour smoking process did indeed liberate a good amount of smoky aroma and make the pork somewhat tender. It's lighter on the sauce and heavier on the smoke than any other pulled pork I tried which gave a more authentic impression. Amazing coleslaw - wished I had more. Fries are the soft kind, very lightly salted. The "spicy" mayo (some kind of very salty habanero with hot sauce) was not that good. Being a smokehouse it's obviously not cheap. The pulled pork sandwich with fries was a good value at $20 + tip. A pint of Fin du Monde $10 + tip. Steaks are in the $30+ range but seeing the impressive meat ageing cabinet by the entrance, I might go back to try one. If you're passing by Chambly and are in the mood for smoky meat, this is the place to be. For parking, there's a lot on rue Ostiguy across from Bedondaine & Bedons Ronds (also a place to check out).
