I paid $2000 for lights and another $2000 to have them hung/removed in 2021. I received a tote for my lights and stored them in the offseason. They came back in 2022, another $2000 to hang and remove, stored again, all good. In 2023 same thing except they took my lights and never returned them. I have called and emailed everyone I can think of and only get a generated response ' we will follow up with you the next business day'. TWO YEARS later, no resolution. If you are looking for a company that doesn't care about the customer's satisfaction, Shack Shine is perfect for you! The window washers themselves were awesome people. They even came back to do some touchups. The problem is with their supervisor, CJ who will not return my follow up texts or calls. After my windows were cleaned I noticed in the mornings that they are very streaky and have some kind of smearing appearance. They look terrible!!! I have never had this problem before with other companies. So, I contacted CJ to ask him to come out and give me his opinion on why my windows look so terrible......even worse than before they came out the first time. CJ responded that they do not do touch ups after 2 weeks. OK. So I texted him again stating I am not asking for another window washing, just want his opinion on what went wrong. He did not respond. So I waited a couple days and texted again. No response. His first and only text stated that I could schedule another appointment to have my windows cleaned. NOT LIKELY!!!! In 2020 we put in the investment for Christmas lights and installation. It was not cheap. In 2021 we had them install again and they did a crap job hanging our wreaths, stated they lost our lights we had paid for so had to use new ones that they used the wrong bulb color for, and although they fixed it, they made it seem like it was our fault and it was ridiculous we were asking them to do it correctly and it was such an inconvenience for them to fix. I spoke with the owner last year and got an "apology". So this year we tried again. We had an appointment on Wed. I got 3 confirmation emails. They never showed up. I called on Wed and they reached out to the franchise and nothing. Called again and they said they are escalating but doing nothing to actually resolve. So they have our $1500 worth of Christmas lights and are unresponsive and unreliable. read more

I have used Shack Shine to wash my windows, and the first time the friendly staff came out, my sliding glass doors were done ALMOST perfectly, but unfortunately we have this super annoying glare from the sun that comes in every morning, and I can see every imperfection in that morning light. I told Brian about my problem and he immediately came out himself and cleaned the window at the specific time that in the morning where we have the glare (I know, I seem like a window freak). He was nothing but understanding. I was pregnant at the time, and Brian even emailed me after my due date to congratulate me. We built a new custom home in Troon North and decided to add Christmas lights. We called Shack Shine, which not only installed lights but provides many other house detailing services, which I ended up using as well. When Brain and team showed up, I gave him a challenge-install the Christmas lights so they stand straight up and you can not drill into the stucco. It had to be permanent for easy installation the following year. He provided the lights, and solved the problem, which I will not share-you will need to call Brian. :) His team was efficient, affordable and friendly. On January 4th, the team came back to the house, took the lights down, boxed them up and get this.... I have had Shack Shine out three times now. First to power-wash the house and do all the exterior and interior windows. I was so happy with the service (professional, on time, reasonably priced, and EASY TO SCHEDULE even when you think of it at 10:30PM), I asked for a quote for Christmas lights. I will tell you my lights were the most perfectly installed on my block - I loved driving up to the house! Then when the lights were taken down, Brian offered me a discount on other services so I had some exterior windows washed again. For any of these services, I can highly recommend Shack Shine. Hired this company to clean my windows BEWARE This company cleaned my windows so well....they must of cracked my glass on my bay windows. I had an AC guy at the same time show up and during the cleaning he said he heard a noise in the front. I did not think anything of it 40 minutes later we had Sun Shades installed and the installer noticed a crack in our window. He took a pic before starting work. I let this company know, and besides doing some research, pretty much blew this off as my problem. So now after paying a lot to clean my windows I am out 400 for my window, and let's say the crack magically appeared before the company showed it means the technician does not look for cracks before applying pressure on your windows. Another reason not to hire this place. BAD COMPANY BAD SERVICE BAD MANAGEMENT. Keep your money do it yourself or risk damaged property from a company that wont give a $%^t. read more
