Bear River had THE BEST price and THE BEST customer service. They literally saved me $1,600 in fumigation costs. The reason is because they don't tack on an exorbitant "finder's fee" just to book a fumigation company for you. From what I've researched, most pest companies will charge an outrageous fee, unbeknownst to the customer, just to make a couple phone calls to book a fumigation company. Thank goodness Bear River doesn't do that.

Since I mentioned where I had seen termites, they refused to check the rest of the home. (2) I found fungus in the home and asked them to look at it - they refused to inspect the home still unless I re-scheduled and pay 2-3 times as much making it so that the $75 consultation fee could only include a small corner of our property and only for termites (not for any fungus). (3) when a quote was offered, no quote for options to reduce the scope of work to just what was needed was offered - only the most expensive repair option was quoted (4) when I called and addressed these business practices, I was told that had I not told them where the termites were, they would have inspected the entire property for $75 and that no matter how small or large the termite spray job, they charged at least $800. Billy Wood minimized work during his inspection and maximized the perception of the scope of work so as to reduce workload and maximize profit - dishonestly. They did not provide me an option to pay for what was actually needed, but retreated over the phone, saying I didn't really have to spray for termites since the damage was old. They had no concern for the customer's perspective or well being and were only concerned about making the most profit out of the smallest issue. This ensured that more issues would yield subsequent additional inspections, more money, more fees, and less work. Cannot recommend to others.

I called around, I got quotes, I asked questions... and then I talked to my Aunt, who used Excalibur to handle her termite situation a couple years back. She had a positive experience and so I gave them a call.... When he came by to give me my estimate, he explained things to me in terms I could understand, and then proceeded to tell me that what the other company had quoted me for would kill all of my plants, and is only a short term strategy. I have tons of frogs in my yard too that I was worried about being harmed since he did say that it would kill all spiders and all bugs that are living in the cracks and crevices as well. The frogs were unharmed even though I KNOW he had to of sprayed right where they lived. I also have a pet that wasn't bothered by this process either. On top of it all, the honesty is really what got me. He could have easily told me that I would need to do the entire house and of taken me for a ride (like the other companies tried), but he did a thorough investigation of the perimeter or the house and places of specific termite damage and determined that only the back of the house needed to be done, which cost significantly less. He handled it quick and cleanly and gave me realistic expectations of the process. I also got a three year warranty/ guarantee for the service and lack of termites that will be around my place.
