To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

We noticed three plates, a bowl, and a ramekin had been broken. We also noticed damage to our son's play kitchen. It was still functional, but broken. We were going to let it slide because we understand that things happen, but after we've fully unpacked, there were multiple vases that were broken in one box which held value and I am pretty upset about this. So maybe just some advice going forward, be more strategic with the way that you pack things.

Appreciation for how Terry and her crew of employees guided us, helped us, and made sure that we had a pleasant experience. There were no surprises. Terry was up front and very knowledgable. I could tell right away this was going to be a positive experience when I saw the excellent condition of their warehouse and their equipment. I know there are cheaper moving options out there but you really need to consider what is best for you in the long run. We wanted to be sure that our items were handled, loaded and unloaded properly. Walter's moving truck was very clean, the moving pads look to be almost brand-new and the equipment was top notch. You can read many horror stories about families that tried to save money and used a low-cost option mover with bait and switch tactics only to find that it was a complete disaster with increased costs, uncertain timetable changes and items broken missing etc. etc. All unwanted surprises. We did our own packing and Terry explained how to pack the boxes so that there would be no damage to contents when the boxes were loaded, stacked and unloaded. They provided us with free used clean boxes that they had from prior moves. This saved us some money. They padded our furniture and loaded everything - an art in and of itself. Another plus was the air ride suspension of the moving truck. Some state have horrible road surfaces. Everything about our move is above board, schedules were met, and all commitments were honored. The price was very competitive. Terry came up to our house did an estimate based on what we had and gave us a realistic competitive bid. We got into our condo in Pennsylvania just fine. Walter and Rob unloaded us. They were wonderful, everything looks good. I appreciate all Walter, Rob & Terry and their crew did to help us and the overall experience was pleasant, fun and exciting. Relocating across the country or across the state is a stressful situation. Especially with new jobs, buying and selling houses ,moving the family, schools etc. One of the stressful things that can be minimized is the actual moving process. I did a move similar to this a number of years ago, and it took the crew 7 hours to do the same amount of things. Everything arrived in the exact condition it was in before the move. I have used 3 other moving companies in the past, but I would absolutely use these guys again over those other ones any day. If you're like me, you're probably reading this because you're moving and looking for the best…read moremovers for you and your situation. You're reading as many reviews as you can hoping to make an overwhelming, worrisome situation just a little bit easier. So my situation may be different from yours, for context my fiance and I needed to drive 1500 miles from California to Texas. We needed someone to load an entire house in a 26' truck. Like most of you have or are in the process of doing I fielded many offers from different companies and I got in contact with Lee from Speedwell. He gave me an excellent offer but what sold me was how we was extremely open and honest and he didn't mind answering all the questions I had because I just like to know what the process will be. We agreed on a time and a day and the move began. Phase one: The day of the move Lee and his team consisting of Billy, Josh and Patrick arrived on time. Immediately they got to work. The one thing I liked about Lee and the movers is they were very honest and kept me and my fiance involved. They gave us suggestions and advice. They were very efficient. When they loaded the first room and secured it my fiance was amazed how little room they used for so many items. She was worried the truck wouldn't be big enough to carry all her stuff but when she saw that she smiled and I think it was then that she realized it was going to happen. The entire team worked extremely well together. Each member had their role and worked efficiently. They disassembled a lot of things and were able to occupy every nook and cranny within the truck. They arranged things in ways I never thought possible. These people have a vision and are very good at what they do. They finished well within the time frame Lee had suggested. All of the time I can't stress how much I appreciated them communicating with my fiance and I asking us questions that would benefit us. They never assumed anything. All in all they were able to fit everything from the house into the truck with room to spare. Phase two: Sure, they could pack everything in a truck, but could it withstand a 1500 mile drive? I told my fiance it's very possible some stuff breaks and to not be upset if it did. We drove the truck and because we're not professionals we may have took turns a little too fast, hit pot holes we couldn't avoid, broke too hard, you know, the things amateurs like me would do. In fact I didn't even want to check on the stuff during the drive. I feared I would open the back door and everything would fall out. Well, when we got to the new house and opened the door, nothing moved and if it did you couldn't even tell. They did a great job. I was beyond impressed. I was truly amazed. I was sure stuff would be all over the place but it wasn't, it safe and secure exactly where it was when we left. Phase three: Even though they loaded it, we still needed to be able to unload it. So if it was packed in such a way that made it hard to unload it would be more work. Well, no surprise it was easy to unload. Lee and his crew did an outstanding job. We hired movers to help us unload and they said this was one of the best loading jobs they'd seen. They were impressed how secure and organized everything was. This allowed the unloading crew to finish much faster than they anticipated. All in all Lee and his crew made a very stressful situation so much easier to bear. My fiance was feeling the stress more than me so she's extremely appreciative. The amount of professionalism, honesty, respect, integrity and work ethic each member displayed is truly admirable. It's so hard to find honest hard working people sometimes but I've at least found four more with Lee, Patrick, Billy and Josh. Thank you all.

Do NOT hire this company in Lancaster, CA…read more I am a military member and my son is also serving. The way we were treated by this location's management and ownership was completely unacceptable. Manager Lee was openly rude during our interaction. When I tried to address the issue, Lee hung up on me. On July 23, 2026, after receiving my delivery, I called back as a courtesy after missing a call from Ms. Janet, I could barely explain why I was calling before being repeatedly interrupted with inappropriate, incoherent laughter and a sarcastic comment about the time of day. In my experience, the Lancaster, CA ownership and management are unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. Their behavior toward two military family members makes it very clear to me that they do not support or respect service members. Do NOT hire this company. In my opinion, they are absolutely not worth your time, money, or trust.
