My now fiance and I came into his shop with a small idea of what I wanted after going to several other jewelry stores in the area with no luck. After telling him I was interested in morganite, he went ahead and brought in several stones for me to look at the very next week. Because of this I was able to pick out exactly what I wanted, and the final result is better than I could have imagined. I just left with my custom made wedding bands in tow! The men of Shahin's Jewelry were courteous, helpful, and so timely with my request. I visited about 2 1/2 weeks ago with my one of a kind vintage Edwardian (1930s) engagement ring - I asked them to create bands to match it. I also asked them to resize my engagement ring, which they did overnight and told me that my short timeline wouldn't be a problem - I needed them made in about 15 days. The level of detail and craftsmanship can't be captured in photos. They match my ring perfectly! To top it off, they sent me home with a bottle of jewelry cleaner and a beautiful wooden box lined with black velvet and a light!! She was greeted with a warm welcome, when she arrived, he sized her finger, left it overnight and by the next day it was ready. Jack, one of the brothers that runs Shahin's Jewelry is a very sweet personable gentleman. I stopped by last week after a nearby appointment and spoke with Jack about the fact that I had some jewelry that I needed repaired and wanted to buy a chain for. Jack told me to stop by any and to bring in whatever it was I needed repaired. After bringing in the pieces yesterday and explaining to him how I wanted to buy a gold chain but didn't have a lot of money, Jack suggested that I might want to buy a nice gold plated chain and said that he would keep his eyes open for one. Well, when I came in today to pick up my jewelry pieces he pulled out a beautiful gold plated sterling silver chain that was the perfect length and only charged me a nominal fee for it. All in all it is great to find a family owned jewelry store that cares about their customers and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that they are happy and not over charged. Initially came in to get my girlfriend a white gold bracelet. The bracelet was way too big for her, so we came back in to have it resized and George took the leftover chain and made it into a set of earrings, which she loved. I had come in a few months later to get my gf an anniversary gift and not only did George help me find the right necklace at the right price, he was very thoughtful in suggesting a peice that was fitting for the occasion. Then after shopping around for engagement rings at some other local stores I also purchased my now finance's engagement ring here and was very impressed with the quality of the diamonds he showed me. My boyfriend had bought me a pair of princess cut earrings from this store, they had gone missing so he went back to purchase a r placement pair of "real" diamond earrings. They replaced them with a pair of circle earrings and they were missing two stones. We brought them back to have it fixed and when Alex was in the store to leave them to be fixed I overheard another foreign man in the store calling Americans stupid. George fixed them but afterwards I took them to another jeweler to have them tested and found out they were not diamonds. When I messaged George to have the matter taken care of he refunded the money to Alex and told me the other jeweler "hates his guts" and that's why they told me the diamonds are fake, I did not give this other jewelry store any knowledge of where I purchased the earrings though. He said that they don't know how to use the testing machine. He had told me the earrings were custom made by him but after I made the complaint he said they were purchased from another company. I needed a chain for my wife's necklace. Every place I went to made me feel like I was wasting their time(just a chain). Went to Shahin's what a relief George spent the time showing me plenty of items. Of course when I gave her the chain it was the wrong size. We back to try and exchange for a different size expecting to have a problem as would be expected at other jewelers, not a problem George spent the time and showed her other options she found the right size he even cleaned the pendant for her. I've been to many jewelry stores in the past couple months and years trying to find the perfect price and ring I'm looking for to put around my newly wed wife's finger. I couldn't have had a better experience from the second I walked in the store. I just happened to be walking by the store and thought 'why not?' so I gave the little jewelry store a chance. A man greeted us as we walked in and was never pushy about buying something. He let my wife try on essentially every ring he owned. He informed us that he has rings that he makes himself and he let her try these on as well. The very first one she tried on she fell completely in love with. He knew how much she liked this ring and he said he'd give us a deal for it if that's what she wanted. He went from 1400$ to $600. I was amazed- that was a great price for the ring of her dreams. And then we got to talking a little more and he found out that we were having the ceremony that Saturday. So he took another $100 off the price, knocking it down to $500 taxes included and he had the ring sized in 2 days total. When we came back the ring fit perfectly and he gave us both a wedding gift that included a few pieces of chipped gold along with a free bottle of jewelry cleaner.
