It is in the parking lot of Walmart/Home Depot but closer to the BJ's side. The wait was a bit long to order the food. They have a great ordering system in that they have a megaphone to call out your receipt number. I had a bit of a wait to receive my food. I initially went for corn soup and I should have just stopped ordering right there. The corn soup was very tasty. I didn't care for the dumplings that they had in it though. I poured pepper in my soup and it was real nice. I should have gotten two soups. I got an aloo pie with channa, pepper, tamarind, mango, cucumber, and chadon beni. This could have used more flavor, which is surprising, especially with all of the toppings on it. I got bake and saltfish with tamarind and pepper. I truly did not like or enjoy this at all. I took one bite and knew I shouldn't eat anymore. I took another bite to be sure and after that bite decided to just take my L and throw it all out. The saltfish was rubbery, at room temperature, and it tasted off. The bake itself seemed like it would taste okay but it was soggy and soaking in liquid. I literally opened this shortly after getting it so i don't know how the bake could be so soggy. I would not recommend the bake and saltfish at all. The aloo pie is okay but it wasn't giving what it needed to give. However, the corn soup was delicious. Def go for the corn soup.

I decided to eat the consumme the next day so I stored it in the fridge. the cold consomme becomes a block of jello. I flipped it into a pot and warmed it up. It was a beefy broth with 2 slivers of beef. I'd skip the consomme next time.

They seem to have very limited online presence; no website that I could find and an IG account with no info or posts. So for now, it's a bit of a mystery when and where they will pop up. I happen to spot them parked in front of the Jax & Co Food Hall in LIC this past weekend. They've been operating for about a month and are still flying under the radar. I tried their Dirty Matcha ($8.50/large) which had espresso, matcha and coconut milk and one of their Cheese Steak Mini Bun ($4). The drink was quite good and perfectly balanced. I loved the addition of the coconut milk which slightly tempered the bitterness of the matcha. The mini Cheese Steak bun, however, was just okay. For four bucks, it was quite small in size and I probably would not get this again. The filling tasted fine but not what I was expecting of a "Cheese steak" filling. I really hope they set up their website soon or include info in their IG--it'd be great to know where they'll be each day. If they did, I'd definitely be more likely to check them out again. Funnily, they are on Fantuan so you can order any of their drinks through them for delivery.

I took a star off, possibly unfairly, because they seem fairly expensive. More important, they don't have prices listed, which makes me feel they can charge whatever they like.
