Overall the doubles were tasty, the sauces were good and a good size to each. The corn soup was also good, had corn and dumplings in it, and a decent little spice. I think you can also order from them on ubereats. It's parked in a parking lot (near BJs) so it's easy to pull up and park to order/wait for your food. They have a social media page also that you can check out.

It was a beefy broth with 2 slivers of beef. I'd skip the consomme next time.

I tried their Dirty Matcha ($8.50/large) which had espresso, matcha and coconut milk and one of their Cheese Steak Mini Bun ($4). The drink was quite good and perfectly balanced. I loved the addition of the coconut milk which slightly tempered the bitterness of the matcha. The mini Cheese Steak bun, however, was just okay. For four bucks, it was quite small in size and I probably would not get this again. The filling tasted fine but not what I was expecting of a "Cheese steak" filling. I really hope they set up their website soon or include info in their IG--it'd be great to know where they'll be each day. If they did, I'd definitely be more likely to check them out again. Funnily, they are on Fantuan so you can order any of their drinks through them for delivery.

It is a Latin icon in the borough and a bonafide post-nightlife option that has become a popular destination amongst locals. This has low-key become a favorite spot of mine to show visitors to Queens and a fabulous alternative for late night munchies in this part of Corona. The owner hails from Colombia and his crew of guys are bustling in a tiny food truck kitchen, cooking up variations of carne asada with tostones, salads, and rice. I've never seen a menu for this place and I've also never heard anyone speak English either. Es muy importante para comunicar en el español. It is strictly cash only and be prepared to wait during prime evening hours (1AM-3AM). My favorite combination is the carne frita, which is like a chunky Dominican style fried beef. While it's sauteed and not deep fried, the chimichurri condiment is readily available at the counter and is an essential component if mixed with the sides. Make sure an avocado is present and mix it up with the the moros (mixed rice) and tostones. The end result is a $10ish platter of late night goodness. While I sing their praises overall, I can't give them 5 stars for a number of reasons. Their carne asada platter is good, but more difficult to eat since their plastic knives don't do much with the meat. Parking for drivers is a zoo at times and folks are parking illegally just to get in line. Instead, walk 10-15 minutes south on Kissena Blvd and you will find a group of street vendors gathering nightly on the sidewalk right in front of Gold City Supermarket. On a beautiful night, you'll find many people camping out on the ledge of the supermarket parking lot, or even putting out picnic blankets, while enjoying various street foods they can find at this great little "food fest". The street vendors are from different regions of China and serves all sorts of yummy goodies. You can find lots of fried items, soup noodles, grilled skewers, marinated meats and veggies, desserts, etc. One of my favorite stalls is the vendor selling hand torn shredded chicken ($25 each), which they dress up in seasoning and spices. They use an older chicken that has a firmer texture that won't fall apart when tearing the meat. The flavor is wonderful and absolutely addictive. They even give you a frequent buyer card that gets you a free chicken when you reached six purchases. The same stall also sells marinated items that are quite good. You are allowed to mix and match as long as they have the same price point. Another stall I would recommend is the stinky tofu stall. There are often more than one, but I like the one with the longest table space only dedicated to this single product, often in the middle of the block. If you have never tried this delicacy, close your nose and give it a go. You may be pleasantly surprised. Other stands that are popular include the BBQ grilled meats over charcoal, where you can get $2-3 skewers of lamb, beef, chicken wings, and whole lot more. Also, if you see the man grilling whole squids, his stuff is quite tasty too. Bottom line, it's a fun evening hanging out with your friends and snacking on various yummy bites. Be brave and try something new. Though there are few English signs, just order what looks good. Find a day with nice weather and check it out soon.
