    Hawaiian Breakfast and Spam Musubi
    Allie H.

I've been cravinnggg Spam Masubi and a traditional Hawaiian breakfast and Shaka did NOT disappoint. Not only was it super yummy but the seasoning actually helped mellow out the saltiness of the spam making this diner very happy. And the masubi was a great portion - not too big but just the right bite to make me feel more full! The service was great as the FOH staffer actually asked for my phone number to add me to their loyalty program. Love this spot, as it's quick & easy within the Collective Food Hall and can't wait to come back.

My kids love the bbq chicken!!!

The best place In the collective to get fresh food!! That's not over seasoned highly flavored and gives u a taste of Hawaii! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 10/10 the service is also wonderful they people who work there are very informative, friendly and ready to serve best customer service experience! I love this place they are very consistent as well.

My first time eating Hawaiian food outside of a poke bowl! Might just be my new obsession. Visiting from Atlanta and checked out Shaka located in the food court The Collective. Literally sooooo good. The chicken was well seasoned, crispy, and had the perfect amount of bbq and paired greatly with all the sides. The total was about $13/$14 for the plate which i think was fair and fitting based off the quality of food and amount given. If I ever find myself here again, I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Being a Malaysian Immigrant, food is everything to me. And let me tell you, this place is probably the closest to a pretty decent Hawaiian cuisine from the time I was in Honolulu. The spam musibi was moist and just salty to the bite. The loco Moco also was really good, though the beef patty was a little dry however it was still tremendous to chow down. The service was okay, they weren't really a people person. But would definitely go back for the food again.

Friendly service and fast! We ate at the fried taco and the waffle spot and Shaka was my favorite among them. The ribs are great, if you like a sweet and sour sauce you'll love this, I'd definitely ask for extra sauce. The musubi was good, kinda feels like a comfort food and easy on the stomach.

Bar none the best Hawaiian spot in OKC - may even maintain this title as newer spots like Mo Bettahs or Hawaiian Bros. move in! It is one of the many "kitchens" in The Collective. I wrote in a previous review that Yuzo was the only place in town that served Loco Moco - but that was not until I realized they served their own version here at Shaka! I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Da Kine Chicken this time (excellent and very delicious - sweet, salty and tangy with some heat/spice) but next time will definitely try their (apparently creative take on) Loco Moco. Perfect lunch spot as well because during the later lunch hours (like 2pm and after) The Collectivr is practically empty! Their Mac Salad (sort of made with this thinner tube pasta with scallions - a unique combination I have not seen anywhere else) is BOMB as is their Spam Musubi. Bonus points for incorporating things like pineapple chunks and avocado with their plate lunch dishes - another very innovative touch that I haven't seen anywhere else (Hawaiian Bros adds pineapple chunks but have never had avocado slices added). Best Hawaiian place in town!!!

Shaka Hawaiian cuisine is one of the vendors we patronized on our recent visit to The Collective. Our notoriously picky friend chose the 808 burger with steak fries. As we all tried something different we divided up the burger four ways and dug in. Scrumptious is the best was to describe this extra tasty burger. Done to perfection, juicy, and the pineapple added a note of sweetness that's indescribable. The steak fries came out so hot you almost couldn't eat them. But we dida and they were perfect. All of us decided to make a return trip at some point in the future just to try more menu items from Shaka Hawaiian cuisine.

Outstanding !!! I'm addicted to the chicken plate. I 100% recommend this place. Legit !!! They are not faking it.

Not too bad for a quick snack. We ordered a few spam musubis to hold us over until we got a table at Hall's Pizza. They were wrapped well and didnt fall apart when we cut them in half. Definitely wanna swing by to try their other items!

    Ono Pork Shanks! Yummy!

We watched people sing happy birthday w a giant slice of strawberry shortcake. Great portions! We ordered the judges plate and added the burnt ends along w a small side of sweet cream corn. The food! Cornbread was on point! Not grainy, overly sweet, or dry! Soft, not bitter. Champion beans are delicious, smoky, seasoned just right. Mac & cheese!!! OMG! It's just right!! Creamy, full flavor, and not bitter. Sweet cream corn, I mean, you should try it, ask for a small sample so you can decide! Burnt ends!!!! You cannot leave this place w/o trying them. We added it for an additional $4 and it was worth it! The brisket had a nice smoke ring, full of flavor. Soft and not dry at all! Juicy. The chicken fell off the bone. Tender. Well seasoned. The pull pork was perhaps my favorite. On its own it was delicious but adding some of the world champion sauce and the spicy sauce together just took it there!! Hands down, glad we made that turn and drove the extra 10m to this place on our way to California.

We were seated and served by the sweetest waitress…read moreand I think she and our little almost two-year old grandson had a great time entertaining each other. Honestly the sliced brisket left a lot to be desired and I do not think that it is the same product as the burnt ends. I am wondering if the burnt ends were from prime brisket and maybe the sliced brisket is from a lesser quality beef. That would make sense because the brisket burnt ends were absolutely divine and had lots of crispy bark that I just love. I was not really impressed by the bologna burnt ends and the mustard sauce. The bologna burnt ends lacked smokiness for me and I just did not enjoy the taste of the mustard (I normally love all mustards). So, let me tell you about the fried okra. I could eat a whole pound of that.....with ranch dressing of course. The finest fried okra!!!!!! We also loved the homemade pickles. I will always order homemade pickles if the option is available. These were great and we sure enjoyed the leftover bites! I would like to leave a little review that I think my little grandson would have left if he could type, use a computer and know all of his words. "I was really fond of the bbq beef but the standouts to me would have to be the mac n cheese and the championship bbq beans. In fact, I loved the bbq beans so much and got so excited that I put my forehead in the beans that my mommy put on my little child's placemat. After that all of the exursions of eating my food, playing with my food, flirting with our waitress and showing off my baby blues; I started yawning. I am not sure if it was the meat fatigue or the carb coma. Mommy and Daddy thought it was time to leave at that point and I agreed to cooperate as my bbq bean juice dyed hair was getting pretty sticky." I would definitely come in again and maybe try some other items. I would definitely get the prime brisket burnt ends again. Oh yes, AND THE OKRA and whatever my grandson wants, of course!
