The staff was friendly They have a range of Cajun-based food options and had alcoholic drinks as well! We tried the blackened fish, the shrimp fettuccine pasta, a salad, and the gumbo, whew our socks were blown off. Everything was really tasty and the meat was fresh and seasoned super well. This may be one of my favorite pastas in OKC! The servings are a lot of bang for your buck -- we walked out stuffed, with lunch for tomorrow. Lunch with a friend at Cajun Corner. It's a neat restrauant. Informal, but nice. Fun, cool and upbeat - with a bar. You order at the counter and they bring your order to you. We both ordered the blackened catfish with dirty rice, topped with shrimp in a spicy cream sauce. WOW, it was oh so good, exploding with a cornucopia of flavor, with each ingredients flavor detectable while blending harmoniously with each other. We also ordered the seafood egg rolls. Sorry, got carried away with the catfish and forgot to take a photo of the egg rolls. The egg rolls were OK, but over fried. The venue is clean, modern and the background noise low, and they were busy. I thought the prices were a little on the high side. The loaded blackened fish and the Cajun fettuccine pasta are my two favorite dishes here. They are so spicy good serious spicy level of a 5+ you can always request. No chili flakes. If you don't prefer spicy dine in order at the counter take a seat it is always crazy packed during lunchtime hard to find a parking spot hard to find a setting area. I typically order mine to go. Portion size is the same as dine in Antigo. Large portions at that. The sauce, the food the flavor always taste fresh never frozen, savory creamy sauce, chefs kiss. As first-time visitors, we had an overall good experience and would recommend this restaurant to others. The highlight of our visit was the African American male bartender. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave the best drink recommendations, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was very flavorful, but be aware that most menu items are quite spicy. The pasta was definitely the standout dish--it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the salmon wasn't cooked to my liking, and my son wasn't a fan of the fried fish because it didn't taste like catfish as expected. I've been a huge fan of Cajun Corner ever since discovering their original location. I love the loaded blackened catfish, and is it filling! Over the years, I've visited each of their locations, and they're remarkably consistent. Service is always good with friendly staff, and their prices are very reasonable. My one knock - hence four stars rather than five - is I've found their fried menu items need a little more time in the frier. It's not that anything's bad, but it would be so much better if it were more crispy. For example, this location is close to my office, and I grabbed lunch here twice last week. One day was the fried fish; another the fried oysters. Each time, I checked the box for them to be extra crispy. Neither was anywhere close, especially the oysters. I ordered the shrimp Po Boy sandwich which came with a side of fries. The sandwich itself was great and the restaurant itself was fairly busy the time that we were there. I dine frequently at Cajun Corner at all three locations. Today, I placed a to-go order at the 23rd Street location for salmon fettuccine. When I arrived, I paid and returned to my vehicle, only to discover that I had been given chicken fettuccine instead. I went back inside to inform the staff of the mistake. The manager (who appeared to be new) offered to add a piece of salmon to the dish and told me to keep the food. I explained that this would not work, as I do not eat chicken (I'm pescatarian), and requested that the order be remade properly. I also paid the price difference. However, I then observed the manager take the dish back to the kitchen and instruct the cook to remove the chicken and place salmon on top. The cook even began attempting to pick out the chicken with a plastic fork. It was clear the kitchen staff noticed I was watching, as their behavior became uneasy and they appeared to try to conceal what was happening. I approached the counter again and clarified that the meal needed to be remade from scratch, not altered. The manager initially insisted they were remaking it, but after I pushed back, he spoke to the cook again. Only then did they discard the original dish and prepare my order correctly. Returning food to the kitchen and attempting to reuse it raises serious concerns about food safety and contamination. This experience reflected poor management and unacceptable customer service. read more

I brought a friend from Shreveport here today to test the authenticity of the Cajun fare. He had the fry fish basket and was surprised when they asked for a choice of flour or cornbread but of course chose cornbread. Devouring them happily he proclaimed they actually beat some places he'd had back home! I had the shrimp po-boy and found it delightful as well. The deep fried Oreo beignets were so delicious I could feel my arteries clogging with each bite, and mercifullly gave 2 out of 6 to the friend who also agreed they're authentic French-American. Have always had a great experience here. The last time was not so good as some of our food had to be redone. Then last Tuesday we got all sorts of red flags. At least 4 of the soda flavors were out. At the counter ordering means I know I can depend on them for a quick bite for lunch and to satisfy a seafood craving just about any time of day. During the lunch hour it's a little loud but you can still hear the person across from you. The shrimp Po'boy is my go to but yesterday I tried the surf n turf over rice and it was great. The steak was overcooked, but overall the dish had a lot of flavor. The sauce is a bit sweet but the pickled veggies on top help to cut that sweetness with some acidity and balance the dish. I have written two positive reviews for Cajun Corner but today I have to change my praise to a performance review. I used to love coming here but the last few times I have placed a special order they have given me the exact opposite of what I have asked for. This is very frustrating because I very rarely come to this location because I have received the wrong order. I will need to find a new spot to go to for my blackened wings and fries. A cute family-friendly place that has a nice afternoon lunch ambiance. We tried lots of the items on the menu and they were all pretty good! The food came out quickly and the staff was really good about keeping the eating area clean. I'd honestly recommend it all.
