Friendly staff who were able to show me their dairy free options! Very clean location! Parking is available 20 minutes free on the road or 1.25 every 20 minutes (just double check the time and days if the week in case it changes) Dessert was very fresh and served in sustainable packaging! Drink was also a delight with almond milk. Dessert with 2 12 oz drinks cost $20 but it's a more premium brand which shows with its taste (just maybe Not an everyday treat for the wallet)

Great Vibe, Disappointing Espresso (from an ex-Barista)…read moreStepped into this spot looking to grab some genuinely good coffee. As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

The location isn't great as it's tucked away in a pretty empty plaza. Even the ambiance upon entering doesn't give off the impression that the coffee will be THAT good but I'm here to tell you it is! I got the Iced Spanish Latte which was sweet and creamy and the espresso was so balanced and didn't get lost in the condensed milk. We also tried a Pourover and I like that you can choose any beans they offer! We went with the Loco Series Lychee Pop and it was outstanding. I'm a big fan of lychee and rose, both flavors are very palpable and even the aroma/color of the pourover were proof that it would be good. We ended up buying a bag of the whole beans. They're some of the best beans I've ever had. The barista is not only hilarious but definitely knows what he's doing!

Tucked away in an unassuming plaza, this roastery and brew bar offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The barista is passionate and adds a real personal touch to his service. It's not a coffee shop. So no washroom. Just good coffee and a few high chairs.

Enough to keep me awake and get me home safe, so there's that. We each ordered something different, and I went with the Chocolate Vaccine. Presentation was fun, and it was actually really well executed. I just wish someone had taken a moment to explain what to do with the syringe full of caramel sauce. Still, the mix of chocolate, ice cream, and biscoff crumbles worked great. Flavors were layered nicely and didn't feel like a sugar overload. Just enough richness with a bit of texture to balance it all out. The space itself has that upbeat, playful vibe. The wall with the height markers measuring "how sweet you are" made us laugh, and the place overall felt clean, cozy, and looked well cared for. The only letdown was the service. We got seated quickly, but it took way too long for anyone to acknowledge us after that. Despite making several very clear eye contacts with multiple staff, no one came over until I actually had to raise my hand high to flag someone down. Not a great feeling. Strangely enough, asking for the bill was the fastest response we got all night. I really wanted to love this place more. The dessert itself was great, the atmosphere was fun, but it's hard to enjoy it fully when the basic hospitality part is missing. That's what brought the whole experience down a few notches.

The ooey gooey lava chocolate milk cake wasn't like the picture in the menu but it was still very good. Their cappuccino was a velvety and aromatic beverage with an easy 10/10. Service was a little slow. We waited a while to get our menus, waited a long time to get order in from the server and took time to give us our bill when we wanted to go. It was not very busy either. Noticed one staff took a very long time to clear a table and didn't seem very happy working. Would like to try something else another time maybe at the one closer to home. The ambiance was bright and buzzing either the sounds of customers talking. The counters, tables and floors were clean which is great. There was no music to listen to in the background so that was a little bit disappointing.
