    Mango pomelo sago
    Michael M.

This place is a definite go-to in the area when I'm craving Asian style fruit desserts or want to show my non-local friends something unique and yummy. So far, this place has not disappointed and has been a hit with my friends. My fav dessert here is by far the mango pomelo sago - super refreshing and tasty especially during the summer months. I'm also a big fan of the taro purple rice they have in some of their desserts and the mochi. I'm a huge fan of this place and a frequent visitor!

Decided to come here for dessert and I was not disappointed! I ordered the mango sago, and the mango was very delicious and a good amount of sago at the bottom of the bowl. The interior of the restaurant was a bit lacking, but the food quality was great. The employees were very nice and fast with the orders, it didn't feel like a long wait.

Coconut Mango slush with mini taro tapioca

I was craving something refreshing and stopped by as I saw an array of mango desserts. Given their menu, I assume that their specialty is in Mango items so I went with the Coconut Mango Slush with Taro Tapioca. I came on a Wednesday evening and I would say there was quite a few people and even others waiting outside. I got my drink fairly quickly and the customer service was superb. The mango part of the drink was okay, I'm used to the mango slush at Real Fruit so I was expecting something sweet and slightly sour, but it had none of that - kind of a very mild mango taste actually. The coconut part was really good but when mixed with the mango didn't really stand out. However, I loved loved the taro tapioca! They did not skimp out on it and the texture was the perfect amount of chewiness. Overall, cute place with lots of mango dessert options. However, I will most likely stick to Real Fruit if I do crave a mango slush.

Fresh Taro Purple Rice Milk Tea, Mango Coconut with Sago drink, and Jumbo Mango Coconut with Taro Balls and Grass Jelly

FOOD | My friend and I got takeout from here for midday dessert. I got the fresh taro purple rice milk tea and my friend got the mango coconut sago drink. I found the taro drink to be a bit sour, which was possibly due to the blend of taro and rice. It definitely is not my favourite taro drink, and I will not be getting it again. The mango coconut sago was really good though! For dessert, we split the jumbo mango coconut with taro balls and grass jelly. I am not a big fan of the ice cream in this, but everything else was super yummy. Hui Lau Shan definitely specializes in mango, as both the mango drink and dessert were really fresh and sweet. I don't think you can go wrong with getting any of the mango options on the menu! SERVICE | We ordered through a delivery service, and it took an abnormally long amount of time to get to us. I do not think this is the fault of the restaurant, I think our delivery person may just have had a backlog of orders. VERDICT | Great place for Asian desserts -- and a special shout-out to their mango options!

What a hidden gem. This place is absolutely the cutest. Everything Mango looked great! I ended up trying the mango, coconut with tapioca. This was delicious. The coconut really adds a nice touch. The topica was freshly made. Overall very satisfied. Despite the long line ups, they went through thr line fairly quickly.

Interior looked like a regular cocos bubble tea shop, very underwhelming. But considering theres so many items on their menu, the menu behind the counter was difficult to read- especially it being complex. We ended up choosing items that had pictures on the wall because if they're advertising it then it must be good, right? Meh. The mango chewy ball, I can confidently say it was tasty. Would be worth the $9.99 i paid. The mango slush tasted very fresh! The mango pudding was a let down for $5.99. Not only in size but also taste. The pudding of it was bland, although it did have small chunks. The plate it came in was difficult to scoop the evaporated milk from and the rim didn't help because scooping mango chunks only made it fall over. Asian Legend's mango pudding for $5.50 was larger and more tasty!

Celebrating the end of mango season the right way with hui lau shan! This place is a mango lover's dream, I kid you not !!! Every possible mango bbt combination is on their menu from mango pomelo to mango taro to mango coconut which is one of the drinks pictured here (third picture) and much much more. They don't just have mango drinks though, their expansive menu also features a classic milk tea, we tried the coffee jelly milk tea and absolutely loved it (fourth picture on the left). Ofcourse I had to get some dessert as well and omgggg can I just say how happy they made me, like that is the look of pure joy on my face lolol I am so psyched there is now a place here in sauga that does the mango pancake (first picture on the right) and pudding desserts (first picture on the left) So sweet and refreshing, especially in the summer time! I have to also mention walking in their decor was stunning, so colourful and beautiful! Just my type of vibe! I've only ever ordered their bbt for delivery before so I was in awe when I walked into their clean and insta worthy store for sure haha They've opened up shop right by square one, super central and ready to serve everyone :) Thank you hui lau shan for the awesome customer service, refreshing drinks and yummy desserts. See you soon, check them out y'all!

Really love their desserts, especially the mango pudding with condense milk. Full of flavour and reasonably priced.

Maybe they forgot to look at the label because they were tired since we came 20min before close... but still sad.. (wanted to drink it the next day without it being watered down..)

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more This Chatime is located in a highly busy plaza. My student and I witnessed a minivan plow into a concrete barrier as we were walking over to Kenzo Ramen, steps away from Chatime. We both heard a crunch and knew that it wasn't good. The minivan, a minute later, drove towards us. We saw a huge crack going down the front bumper. I parked at the back of this plaza, where there is a store that sell diapers and adult incontinence pads. There used to be a Goodwill store, but a few new businesses have taken over. Anyway, after my student, a colleague, and I had finished eating a late lunch at Kenzo Ramen last Friday, we headed over to Chatime. I had a free birthday drink waiting for me. I decided to use it towards a regular QQ lychee juice, which comes with tapioca and coconut jelly. I didn't know where to line up after placing my order. I finally figured it out when I saw the small ledge through the huge lineup. I like that you can purchase reusable straws that come with a cleaner. I want to get the purple one. Each kit goes for $5. My drink was ready. I got it, and drove my student and I back to the office. The lychee juice was great. I managed to suck a tapioca ball the wrong way and went into a coughing fit in my car. Luckily, my student knows CPR and didn't have to administer it on me. I now realize that tapioca can be hazardous to your health. Anyway, the tapioca and coconut jelly were delightful when eaten safely and properly! I don't normally visit Chatime, but will definitely go back. I finally found a drink here that I love, minus choking on the tapioca. (209)

Its a cute and quite atmosphere. Decor is modern rustic with an open concept. I wouldnt take a first date here as the entire place can hear your conversations. He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink. I can only give you a drink if you buy one now on the App. The bday drink is not for new customers." Wow. Just a waste of time, terrible customer service, and bad impression for someone who'll never be a regular customer of this chain. Terrible.

Could this be Mississauga's hidden gem for bubble tea? Possibly…read more I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste. It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. The timer/game gives you the chance to win a free drink on the house if you manage to get a perfect 10:00 score (I mean you manage to stop the timer on that time). Product was well packaged. Drink was not too sweet despite not having adjusted the sweetness level, which I liked. The only thing for me was the waiting time which took forever, as in more than 20 minutes to be served. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. I went during non-peak hours and there was only 2 people in store sitting down, yet it took me over 20 minutes to get my drinks.
