Ordered a Strawberry Matcha Bingsu (Regular size) and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect size for 2 to share. I was surprised that it was loaded with strawberries -- not just as toppings but on the inside (mixed in with the ice) as well. For the generous amount of strawberries given (you can get a few pieces in every single bite), the price seems to be well worth it. The ice itself is milky, soft, light, and sweet -- the perfect melt-in-your-mouth bingsu. The matcha flavour was a bit subtle but I didn't mind it as a strawberry lover. The service was prompt. Not many bingsu places in Sauga but Snowies has been here for a few years now. The inside is nicely decorated with cute neon signs and seats. I think the menu is still the same (the price just changed a bit). I always try the injeolmi at every place and the injeolmi here is not too bad. I'm frequent visitor of this place especially when I need a sugar kick when I'm on my road cycling journey. Hours are great especially when you need a good late night snack. Very cute decor and have brought my friends and family here before so far its always been a great experience coming here. Service is great as it seamless to place your order. My favorite on this spot is the Injeolmi, and Mango Cheesecake. The OG Brownie is my go-to takeout as its nice way to end your night at home with a treat in your hand. The Bingsu is very light and fruits they incorporate into the bowl is fresh. You can tell the business picks those fruits well. Snowies Bingsu is hidden in the corner of a very unnoticeable plaza next to an Indian/Pakistan grocery store on Dundas East in Mississauga. Once you open the door and step into the dessert place, you will have a feeling of being teleported to Korea instantly. The store décor is so different compared to the neighborhood. Bingsu (빙수), sometimes spelled as bingsoo, is a shaved ice dessert originating from Korea. There's a lot of variety with these sweet treats, but the most common is called pat-bingsu (팥빙수), which is a red bean shaved ice with sweet toppings like chopped fruit, condensed milk, or fruit syrup. There are many choices available at Snowies Bingsu. We ordered Strawberry Cheesecake, Matcha, and Oreo. All regular sizes. They were all really big and filling as a dessert unless you were very hungry. I would recommend small sizes and try different flavors next time. In terms of taste, the snow mountain was basically made of alternate layers of shaved ice and flavor powder. Topped up with a scoop of flavorful ice cream. They had a good selection of hot drinks as well. Ordered the French Vanilla and it was okay... I traveled here for a Kpop event. This cute little cafe was very cozy and inviting. The interior is very modern and hip, you really feel like you walked I into a chic upscale cafe. The owner was extremely friendly and eager to give you their suggestions if you've never had Bingsu before. For this event, I was surrounded by other fans, freebies and Kpop music, so I was in my happy place. I tried the house special mango strawberry bingsu. If you've never had bingsu, it is shaved ice served with various toppings. My bingsu was perfect! Not too sweet and well balanced with the mochi pillows. Note: I would rate this place 4.5 stars My friend and I came here around an hour before closing on a Friday night. We weren't sure if we could finish in time before the restaurant closed but the staff suggested we just order as TO GO. The size of TO GO is already set since it is in a container. The price is more than S but less than R. The service was pretty friendly and quick. The restaurant was pretty small but clean. We got the Matcha Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu TO GO. Overall, the bingsu was pretty sweet and definitely enough to share between two people. My favourite part would have to be cheesecake bits. The sensational atmosphere deserves a 5 star. However, the store is quite small so I do not recommend big groups. The price is also quite expensive (more than $10 per bingsu with tax for SMALL, can almost eat a meal). The bowl isn't too big despite looking very elegant. The ice cream placed on the top is okay, while the fruits were slightly sour. The ice actually melts quite fast so in the end it turns into a slimy bowl of icy soup. I've had better shaved ice. Really nice and fun dessert place! This place recently opened and I think it's definitely a good place to try if you are craving for some sugar in the Mississauga area. They serve shaved iced desserts in regular and large sizes in a variety of flavours - they have strawberry cheesecake, oreo, green tea, and their original flavour (I believe it's almond). So far, I've tried the strawberry cheesecake, oreo, and green tea flavours. My favourite is probably the strawberry cheesecake - the sweetness of the strawberries goes amazing with the cream, ice, and mochi bits on the dessert. Definitely go for the larger size when you order! The large size is only a few dollars more than the regular, but the size difference is definitely noticeable - you get more with the large and you will be more satisfied. Trust. Me. Inside, you'll see that the place has really nice furniture, tables, seating, and an overall "instaworthy" vibe. The food and the inside of this place is definitely worthy of a social media post, so come ready to take some pictures. Located in what seem like a hidden plaza with other international shops. The colour of its sign was hard for us to locate the place. Upon entering I was awe by the simplicity but cute design of the place. Different colour walls, and one seating area that was pink and lavender caught my attention. One has to order their dessert or drink and I was given a buzzer to take with me as I waited for my matcha snow slush - Korean style!! There was a nice water station that you can help yourself. The service was nice and it appeared that the co-owners were also there. The small dessert could be served on a bigger bowl as it's around $12 for one. Overall it was good, but more toppings would have been nice, especially for that price. The shaved ice is different from the other two Taiwanese style that I am used to. Snowies is super cute and totally instagrammable. It is a pretty small place but I've always been able to grab a seat the few times I've been. My first time going I ordered the limited edition taro bingsu. The included taro qq balls tasted like plain mochi and this flavour felt a bit dry, especially because there's just a little light cream on top. It might have tasted better if they used something more liquid like condensed milk or ice cream. Otherwise it tasted like a taro slushie, similar to those I get at bbt shops, and the taste of taro was good. Not too sweet or artificial. The second time I went I got matcha and this one was better than the taro. The taste of the matcha wasn't too strong and the ice cream was a good balance. I got to try the mango and Oreo from my friends as well and I'd have to say out of all four flavours Oreo is my fav with mango and matcha coming in close second. Overall the bingsu here is pretty good - snow flakes are very fine and the tastes are mostly balanced. I'll definitely return next time for my own full sized Oreo. :) Plus it's conviently located next to my fav Korean fried chicken place so it's a great place to hit for dessert after heavy eating. ;) read more

The Korean shaved ice here is better than the ones in Yonge and Finch and on par with the best in NJ/NY/Seoul!! Want a creamy dessert that is both satisfying and somewhat light at the same time? Check out this place's green tea bingsoo (shaved ice). I'd recommend the regular green tea one as opposed to the green tea strawberry one considering the latter doesn't come with the sweetened red bean and mochi (soft/satisfyingly chewy bits of rice cakes) that makes the dessert. I don't miss it back home because I've got the same thing here. We love it and hope they never change!! read more

So we walked in on a Friday night just an hour before close time and the place is still packed. Luckily we got a spot and got the menu from the counter. Decided and went to order and found that they no longer have Vegan options. Ordered a regular/large Matcha and a small Injeolmi. Ordered a Mango Jasmine Tea with Mango boba (popping tapioca type balls). The order did take a bit longer than we anticipated but not long that we got frustrated. The regular is quite large and two individuals could hardly finish it. The Matcha flavour good and the milk and sugar ice scraped like to a texture of desiccated coconut. Sweeter for the taste of all on the table. The Injeolmi is a regular dish meaning had no fruit or additional flavour. The small was quite unique in taste did have a nutty flavour. More like almond butter taste than the peanut butter flavour that we were told on the counter. The red bean patty type in both was perfect. The tea quite weak and more of Mango drink than tea. The Mango Boba were quite good and didn't disappoint. As one of the family member could not make it we took a Mango and Grape Bingsu as well. Which was quite good. Went here last week before their grand opening. We ordered a small strawberry cheesecake bingsu. Decent size, and tasted good. I like how they evenly put the toppings on -cheesecake pieces and strawberry slices. They do put syrup on top so i thought it balanced off nicely. The interior is nice, very cool and different. It's one of the better ones in the GTA. The "snowy" milk ice is solid. The different toppings aren't consistent. On several visits, I've tried injeolmi (soy-bean powder rice cake cake with almond, sweet red bean and vanilla ice cream), matcha (matcha powder, rice cake, almond and green tea ice cream), strawberry cheesecake (strawberries, cheesecake and vanilla ice cream), strawberry oreo (custom-made, strawberries, oreos, oreo powder, vanilla ice cream). All were prepared deliciously. Then on my last visit, I finally caved and tried the black sesame - don't get it. The black sesame powder is rough and causes your throat to have clog-like feeling and will make you cough. It's only saving grace is the black sesame ice cream. I think the prices are fair, it's busy even for a weeknight, so you might have to wait for a table. All in all a great bingsu this side of town! read more

By far one of the best dessert places to go. I'm not really a sweets person but when it comes to Bingsu at Snowies, it is absolutely phenomenal. They recently opened but when you go inside, it has such a cute and bubbly atmosphere to it just like their two owners, Lisa and Michelle. The two are just as sweet as their Bingsu. They always have a smile on their face, very welcoming and friendly. Every once in a while I like to come to snowies to have a snack and study, also because I like their music taste as well heh. Snowies has a VARIETY of flavours, they have strawberry, mango, mixed fruit, Oreo, and even better... they come up with their own original flavours as well, such as Thai ice tea, viet coffee (my fave!) and Hong Kong milk tea. If you had any of these drinks before, and you try out the desserts here, it tastes so alike, it's unbelievable. Majority of their toppings are made in house and sometimes placed on the side so you can portion it however you'd like. If it's not placed on the side, they definitely pack your Bingsu with layers of the toppings. It's not like some places where they only put it on the top. They have a top layer, and a bottom layer! Not only does snowies have Bingsu, they also have tea! It's a good combo when you have a sensitive mouth like me, I always gotta get a pot of tea to go with a Bingsu! My personal fave is the earl grey! But they only have tea during the winter. Don't forget if you're there, definitely try the lychee rose tea with coconut jelly.. BOMB. They have an Instagram @snowiesbingsu, follow them to stay updated on new flavours, as their original flavours are promotional, they're posted for sale only for two weeks and they release a new flavour! Vegan desserts are already hard to come by in Mississauga... But a vegan Asian dessert place? And specifically bingsu?! Totally unheard of. Snowies Bingsu recently introduced their vegan bingsu a few days ago and honestly, I couldn't get to this place any faster. The moment I walked in, I literally felt like a kid in a candy store. The entire place is beautifully designed. The walls and furnishings are splashed with pastel colours. The pink neon signs on the walls makes a great backdrop for those perfect instagram photos. Everything in this tiny place is aesthetically pleasing, I definitely appreciate every little detail. Even their tea pots are so darn cute! So how it works is.. you get a menu, you order, you pay at the cashier and they bring you your bingsu to your table. Not hard. Not complicated. Pretty straight forward imo. I ordered their mixed fruit vegan bingsu. It had shaved ice, coconut milk, vegan condensed milk, dairy free ice cream and mixed fruit (strawberries, grapes and mango). All of these combined were heavenly. The only thing I would say is that the strawberries and the grapes were a little bit sour but thankfully the ice cream and the condensed milk helped balance the acidity of the fruits. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service was great as well, they were incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. They even let me know that Oreos are NOT in fact vegan. Was craving bingsu for 2 weeks and finally found the time to come here again. Last time I came was during their soft opening so they didn't have teas available yet. I got to try the chamomile tea (pot) + the injeolmi + mixed fruits bingsu. Injeolmi was alright, I liked the nutty flavour and the almonds but got slightly bland after a while. Which is why we got mixed fruits! I like mixed fruits because you get a little bit of everything :) Tea was good! We all came to Snowies Bingsu for dessert after having dinner nearby. I was glad to try it out because it was bookmarked on my Yelp account since they opened. The dessert place is small and has about 6-7 tables. We came on the first big snow fall and was surprised that most of the tables were occupied. The four of us shared a regular size mango bingsu and a small oreo bingsu. It took a while for our dessert to come out but it wasn't a big deal as we were all talking. It is quite expensive as it was $27 before tax and tip. Both of the bingsu's were yummy! I really enjoyed the mango one. The mango sauce makes it taste good imo as half of the mango pieces were hard. Even with the four of us we couldn't finish either dessert's. If we ever come back we'll just share a small. I might come back but the price deters me from wanting to go. read more

I'm a big fan of bingsu and I think Snowies is a must try if you're in Mississauga. This place is decorated so nicely which makes it a great dessert place for date nights or other social gatherings! Coming here during the winter, I can only guess this place gets packed during the summer and there's not a whole lot of seating to begin with. I personally like the mango bingsu here. They have 2 different size options for dining in and by the looks of it, the largest size should be suitable for 2 to 3 people. I ordered take-out which only came in 1 size. Did not take long for my order to come out and it looks pretty Instagram-worthy. There is a good balance of "snow" (shaved ice) and sweet goodies in the cup. WOWOW. Even though Snowies Bingsu only recently opened, I am already a regular customer! No joke, I go there at least every other day since their soft opening. Tbh I stopped yelping for a bit but Snowies is just too good I had to give them a review. Of course, bingsu is their main focus but they have plenty of other items that are just as good, such as their hot tea and cold drinks. I especially looove their bingsu - my two favourites are the Mixed Fruit and Strawberry Cheesecake. It is the perfect dessert after a big meal, it is not too heavy and not as sweet as I thought it'd be (which is a good thing). I expected there to only be toppings at the top, but there are LAYERS throughout the entire bowl! SO you get a perfect mix of the shaved ice and toppings for every bite :P It also comes in two sizes, small or regular. I can barely finish a small but I have friends who can body a whole regular by themselves... yeah it is that good LOL. I've only tried one of their cold drinks, which is the lychee rose tea with lychee boba. LYCHEE & ROSE TEA TOGETHER... enough said. One of the best combos of life. It is very sweet because of the popping boba but the tea really helps balances it out so it is an enjoyable sweetness! I'd come earlier in the day to get this though, as it is usually sold out towards the end of the night. For hot tea, I usually get the flowering jasmine tea, it is bit more of a fruity taste than your regular jasmine tea - a very nice and unique touch. The interior and decor at Snowies is very cute, especially the chairs against the wall and the waiting area. Even the colour scheme of the whole place gives off very 'cutesy' and chill vibes. Despite this, their playlist still be poppin' af LOL! It is a small place but it never gets too stuffy or claustrophobic during very busy times. Service is outstanding - everyone there is so sweet and helpful. Not just to me, but I see it when the workers interact with other customers too. Sometimes they will even bring your order to your table instead of you having to go up to the cash area. I got to chat with the owners for a bit and I can tell they're really passionate about this as they told me they even traveled to Korea to learn the arts of making Bingsu. SO THEY KNOW THEIR SHIET HERE. Every single person that I've recommended Snowies to or taken with me here always had a positive experience. We kept waiving at the guy at the counter as we have been waiting for quite sometime and we were not being seated. Finally we got to sit down and got our menus. Nice waiter and waitress. Nice decor. Music was too loud for my taste. Had the speaker right in front of us. I could barely hear what the other person was saying. You end up eating your dessert quietly and quickly as you cannot make any conversation without having to scream loud. How it works? You go get your own water if you need on a side table. You order at the counter. You pick up your order yourself. Then you have to drop off your platter yourself after your are done. Mixed fruit it was a nice try dessert. Different from other ice shaved desserts. I find it lacked a bit of taste to it. The white ice shaved below the fruits were just plain not much taste to it. A group of friends and I had just finished having dinner at K-Pocha, located a couple doors down, and one of them spotted Snowies Bingsu during their grand opening. I had no idea what bingsu was at the time, and boy was I in for a treat! I had tried Tawaiinese shaved ice prior and was expecting bingsu to be the same, but was blown away by how finely shaved the ice was - the texture was so light and powdery. When ordering, I requested a combination of two of their menu items, matcha and Oreo, and they were able to do this without a problem. This flavour combo turned out to be utter perfection!! I've made multiple trips back and ordered this ever since! As a bonus, this cafe has such a cute aeshetic - the first thing that caught my eye was their interior. I had the macha bingsu here and I like it better than the bingsu I've had at other places. There's a good mix of ingredients within the shaved ice which adds some flavour when digging deep into it. The presentation was nice too, looking like a bear. Serving size of a regular could be quite a lot for one, so it might be better to share or get a small size unless you really love bingsu. The atmosphere was very chill. Music can be a little loud as some reviewers had mentioned, but I was still able to have a conversation without having to yell.
