First time having Shake Shack and it exceeded my expectations. We had it delivered through Uber Eats. It arrived quickly which I was surprised since it was Friday night. I pass this location everyday and have never stopped. It's across from the Danbury Mall. The fries were ok. The burger was greasy and delicious, just what I needed that night. Onion rings were also good. Very crispy.

I hear this franchise is good, and so I tried it. My chocolate malt was indeed good, but it was soured by the surly service. The person taking my order was grumpy and curt, and clearly didn't want to be there. Even worse, she hated me being there! For a $7.50 shake, I'd at least expect a modicum of curtesy - a smile or thank you as a minimum. The place seemed clean and I liked the decor, and I know that one employee shouldn't sully a whole business. But based on my experience, I'll choose other options the next time I'm hankering for a milkshake.

Came here on a Friday for a late lunch and the space was decently busy, but they have kiosks to place your order so it made the process relatively easy and wait free. They text you once your order is ready as well, but the timing could definitely be worked on I think. I got my text before my order was ready to be handed off, so I was loitering around the pickup counter anyway when no one was there and even when someone did come, they had to go to the back to grab my food. The text was definitely misleading. They didn't have any ketchup at their stations either and it didn't look like anyone cared when I told them about it. They just proceeded to get me some ketchup packets and that was pretty much it. They didn't seem too busy in the back as many workers were standing around not doing much, but perhaps there's more to the story than what I saw. Overall, the experience was mediocre I'd say with decent food. I enjoyed my burger and my fries, the latter being super crispy which I enjoyed. The service and upkeep of various stations could've been better, but overall for fast food, I'd say it was a decent meal and experience.

Starting out as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in midtown Manhattan in 2001, Shake Shack morphed and expanded over the years to include a wider menu and locations across the country. Shake Shack opened at the end of 2021 in a new stand-alone building located on the outskirts of the Danbury Fair Mall. Shake Shack is surrounded by contemporary landscaping, a patio dining area, and ample parking. Besides being conveniently located for shoppers, like any roadside shack of the 20th century, Shake Shack is easily accessible to drivers as it is located off both north (7) and south (84) bound thoroughfare ramps. With pick up as an option via Shake Shack app and drive through in the works, the location offers flexibility and convenience. Shake Shack offers hotdogs, hamburgers, and chicken. These include toppings that are uncommonly found in fast food joints, such as slices of avocado and cherry peppers. Shake Shack also offers vegetarian options -- mushroom burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Likewise, a unique range of beverages, including iced hibiscus- and blood orange-based drinks. To top it off, "concrete" custard shakes, including limited time specials such as Oreo cookie funnel cake and chocolate churro shakes ensure that periodic pit stops offer something new to try.

Well, I've never seen a business run like this. We waited in a long line, two of the ordering kiosks were out of service. One of the employees was also taking orders. We waited in that line and saw people going around the other side and pretending they were next. The employee would just take them, Not even paying attention to Who was next in line. . We even commented that the line was "over here" and "we were next." I'm not saying that the employees don't work hard, but they definitely don't pay attention. We ordered a shack burger with no cheese and she asked if we wanted onions and pickles on that. The answer was no on that burger. I then ordered the shack burger and told her I wanted everything on it and we wanted to take the order to go. We had to wait 15 minutes for these two burgers. In the 15 minutes I got to see what was going on behind the scenes. One employee was in charge of making beverages and kept making shakes that sat and sat and melted in the pick up area. Some of them were actually liquefied and looked horrific next to the new ones with the fresh whipped cream. When we got the burgers, they came out on a tray. They were not even wrapped " to go". it stated clearly on the slip they were "to go." So she had to take them back and wrap them. We got to the car and opened the burgers. They were no onions and pickles on mine. It was incorrect. I didn't have the time or patience to go back in. So aggravating. Won't be back

NO FOUNTAIN DRINKS? Blood Orange Lemonade very weird. Stange taste to it...like soap. Could not drink it.

Thursday at noon went for a treat. Very disappointing. No soda....machine broken? Had to get one of their lemonades and it was awful. Weird soapy taste. Yuck. I got a different one, not much better but not soapy. My husband's burger just ok.. I got chicken bits. They were tender but the coating was on the bottom of the container. Not sticking to chicken. Fries lukewarm. Asked for hot fries and got second order also lukewarm. We went to this location when they opened and it was awesome. Thursday at noon almost empty. I know why now. Big disappointment. Not somewhere you would return to. It's a shame.

My favorite flavors are red velvet, mud, chocolate fudge brownie, and banana cream pie. We also love the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Their sorbet is really good too. Chocolates are divine, the best ones are the caramel crunch bar, caramel marshmallow, and hazelnut chocolates. They also have dole whip!! Their candy sections downstairs is really cute and decorated like a classic corner candy store. In the winter don't miss their hot chocolate! Always local high school kids working here and usually really nice.

I appreciated the fact they had a sugar free option. In addition, they also had a section of chocolates made at the premises. Lots of options, but of course they also had a sugar free section. I loved the fact they had options for me to enjoy. Being diabetic, it is hard to enter a place like this and not be able to enjoy something good. I ordered several pieces of their sugar free milk chocolate almond bark. The store had several tables and chairs where you can enjoy your sweets. A very nice place. The staff was very helpful when it came to the sugar free options.
