Came by for lunch the other day and it was a quick and easy experience. There was no line on the upper level of the B level food court. The Gen Z behind the counter was in uniform and didn't seem to like being there... Ordered the Shake burger lettuce wrapped along with a side of crinkle fries. The Shake burger was mediocre. The burger was drier and the condiments were normal. I didn't quite understand the crinkle fries as they felt frozen. 1. It's a Shake Shack. Shake Shacks are basically good. 2. Sitting at the bar and ordering keeps you from having to wait in line. 80+% of people stand in line to order. The food actually comes out way faster if you order from the bartender. You don't need to order an alcoholic drink to do this. 3. The bartender when I was there was a saint. 4. Espresso toffee milkshakes sound like they will be wonderful. They taste perfectly fine. Getting the toffee chunks up your straw will be the most exercise you get in your day of flying. Prepare for a workout. 5. Yelpers complain about the burgers at the Denver Airport Shake Shack. The burgers in my hometown Shake Shack of Austin, Texas are not wonderful either. BUT The hot dogs are just lovely - both in Denver and in my hometown. Getting a hot dog is a much more prudent play. read more

I grabbed a quick bite here before my flight. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the central concourse in Terminal B, so it is a little bit of a walk from the gates, but not very far. There was a line, but it moved quickly. I'm happy to see they've added a veggie burger to their vegetarian menu options, but I stuck with the tried and true shroom burger. I added avocado, which was an additional charge, and cherry peppers, which were free. I also got fries. Service was pretty quick. I waited about 5 minutes for my food. All the food was hot. The fries and mushroom breading were crispy. They have self serve dispensers for ketchup. Can't ask for much more. read more

Been here a handful of times. Each time the food is just what I want. Delicious, flavorful juicy smash burgers. The fries were super crispy too! The only downside is the price here is pretty high compared to other shake shacks. The Portland airport PDX doesn't raise the price on any food in the facility, I wish DIA would do the same. read more

I've only had Shake Shack once, and it was before they became a chain. I don't remember much about my previous experience. The location within the airport had a good amount of seating available. I went with the avocado bacon burger with fries. When I pulled the burger out of the bag, I was a surprised by how small it was. I guess I should've gotten the double. What I liked about the burger is that the bun wasn't fully separated, which kept the ingredients from falling out. The bacon was thin though and the avocado was not spread evenly. Denver airport restaurants have you captive and they know it. Prices are high and service was indifferent at SS. I always seem to go through this airport hungry and short on time. And most places have lines. SS didn't and we ordered 2 single burgers 2 fries and one drink. Priciest SS I've ever been to. I tried ordering on app but the location wasn't listed. The lady working the register was very polite and got my order down quickly. The total of my order was 22 dollars so I was expecting a decent shake shack meal. There wasn't a ton of people there for 12pm and my food came out quickly. The food itself was genuinely awful. I got a double patty cheeseburger which was the worst burger I have ever ate in my life. The middle was undercooked and tasted strictly of grease, and not the good kind. I took one bite and threw it away. I also got a shake which had almost 0 milkshake and only cookies. The simplest thing I can say is that I f-ing love this place. Yeah, the service staff is awful. Yeah, the wait for your food is awful. I don't care. They have amazingly good breakfast in the form of a sausage, egg, and cheese sammich with tater tots. They have amazingly good smashed burgers with processed American cheese, just the way the Bible foretold in Ezekiel 23:19. If you enjoy watching a fully staffed kitchen stand around looking at one another other while you wait 20 minutes for your burger, fries, and shake, then don't walk by this opportunity to cool your heels. When they finally called my name, I brushed off the moss that had accumulated on my luggage, and picked up my capacious brown-paper bag-o-food and shake. I opened the bag to find a depressed-looking burger about the size of a McDonalds junior burger, that I had to reassemble after finding it packaged as a build-your-own-burger in the paper baggie. Finally sinking my teeth into it, its flavor was perfectly burger-like, although its temperature was decidedly 'waited 10 minutes on the kitchen counter'-like. The shake was certainly creamy, yet had the subtlest of La Croix strawberry flavorings, punctuated with the odd fruit chunk as a reminder that it indeed was a shake with fruit provenance. All I can say is, thank goodness for crinkle-cut fries. At least these performed as advertised; crunchy, hot, and delicious, with the right amount of salt. Of all the options at Denver Airport for burgers, fries, and a shake, it's not the worst. But it's also not the best. Walk by or wait, it's not a loss either way. read more

I was pleased to find a Shake Shack at DIA Terminal B when in Denver for a conference recently. I hadn't had a good burger in months due to being abroad in Taiwan, so this hit the spot. The line was long but it goes reasonably fast and you can always order online for pickup if you're in a rush. The server I dealt with clearly didn't want to be there but everyone else was professional and very nice. Prices ARE high for a fast-food burger, but the quality is high as well and I think the prices aren't much higher than a non-airport location. On my way out, I stopped by again and took a seat at the bar. According to the bartender, this is the only Shake Shack in the world that offers a bar, which is pretty cool. Service at the bar was faster than the line, so a good tradeoff if you don't mind tipping. Will definitely eat here anytime I pass through the terminal! read more

I LOVE shake shack, but since moving to a small town I never get it. So, I was psyched when I saw it at DIA! I got a smoke stack (single) with fries and a bottle sparkling water. They do have a bar here too, if you would like a hard drink or beer. It was the airport, so I thought it was pretty good for airport food. It actually wasn't as greasy as usual (which, I personally see as a con!). The fries are always boring, but they were crisp and fresh.
