This place gets PACKED! There were at least twenty of us waiting for food at one point when I visited the DEN Shake Shack on the mezzanine of Concourse B. I didn't think they'd get my order right as I asked for a plain hamburger with nothing on it but the bun... but they did. I waited for about 5 minutes and got a burger and fries. Those fries!! I had Shake Shack when at SLC and it's amazing how they get their fries perfect each and every time. So crispy on the outer side and the inside so fluffy and full of potato loveliness. The cherry on top is the eco-friendly packaging. Everything is paper based if you avoid a drink, which I did. (Water is my best friend when traveling.) It's not cheap: $15 for the two items alone. However, SS and Smashburger are probably some of your top choices at the DEN airport. read more

Yikes. The food is just fine and I was so excited to get a burger since Shake shack isn't in my area. The staff were terrible. All young kinds who couldn't care less. The one girl running the register was nice and professional. She said she was clocking out for the day while a young girl with purple hair took one persons order then left. She was in the back and I stood there waiting staring at everyone while they talked amongst themselves. The poor associate who was supposed to leave took my order and apologized. This was our first time at Shake Shack! I wish we could've tried a location in the East Coast, but our traveling agenda didn't permit us to. We ordered a Shack Burger, fries, and a small lemonade. The Shack Burger looked appetizing, but I thought it was a small sized burger. Maybe I'm just used to bigger burgers! The beef patty was flattened like a smash burger patty and had some crispy bits from the grill. My boyfriend really enjoyed the burger. The fries were crinkle cut fries, so they were super crispy. The food at shake shack is always good. I think I have never had a bad experience. I like the shake shack signature and the smoke shack. TodayI felt like bacon and a double patty so I got a smoke shack, fries and a vanilla shake. The burger was what I expected but the fries were fairly tasteless. However added some salt and ordered some extra shake shack sauce to dip in. That worked!! The service was quick and the food fresh!! The ambiance is always awesome at DIA so we enjoyed the food at one of the food court tables!! Definitely my favorite place to go before I fly somewhere!! Absolutely recommend. Only downside is price - a bit expensive. But still for being at an airport this place rocks!! read more

United airlines provided me with a voucher for food because of an issue with a cancelled flight. They printed it wrong so the voucher didn't work. Instead of making me go back all the way through Security the shake shack manager comped my meal, but she didn't have to do. I was standing there talking to the young man. I asked how she was as a boss and he said the best boss ever and I told him what a lucky guy he was. Shake shack you are so lucky to have her, I wish I had gotten her name. Thank you! read more

The newest modern "Burger Bar" at DIA United Airlines Concourse B upstairs in the center food court area. This trendy business has a basic menu of flat top fried Burgers that are cooked thru with that crusty finish that gives you a delicious bite. I had the double SmokeStack Burger with sweet peppers and their house Sauce that gives a slight spicy kick. I passed on the crinkle cut fries this visit but added a 50/50 iced tea lemonade, the perfect mix of refreshment for me. Shakes look good here too. Will have to explore more choices next visit. There is also an actual full service bar for those over 21 looking for some adult refreshments to go with or without the food service. First impression is good. Tip: Lines can get long! They offer an APP That allows you to order ahead if you're running behind to catch a flight! Nice change to the other burger joints. Four Stars for now. The hype is not real. It's fine, I guess, but for $20, you'd think it would be...special. And it just isn't. There's a place in Tulsa called Flo's and it has absolutely *ruined* me forever when it comes to other burgers. I just come away thinking, "well, it ain't Flo's." So it goes. I am sooooo over the "hospitality" industry not being hospitable. We had a delay and now will get in way later than planned so decided to grab a bite. My wife asked the cashier how he is doing and he just stared at her as if she was speaking Aramaic. She then proceeded to ask what shake sauce is and he said "I think it's like a mayo type of sauce. I've been to several shake shacks and this is the first one I had a poor burger in. The fires were also cold and felt like they have been sitting out. And the cheese had the coagulated sensation while the patty was also somewhat cold. I'm surprised as there was a big line ordering, but yeah, trust the Sara on this one people. It was just okay. We don't have Shakshack in Vancouver, BC, so I've decided to try this out when I see one at the airport. Since it's an airport food court meal, I wasn't really expecting much. I ordered the smoke shack with a 50/50 drink. It was decent. The patty seemed fresh "not like one of those dried McDonalds big mac patties", and the bacon had good texture as well. The flavor was a bit overkill though. The pepper was cooked with some really strong/salty/ sour sauce. But you can argue that this is just how most people like it. The one thing that I'd complain about this is probably the presentation. The bun although tasted alright, seemed quite squished, and everything inside was pretty much falling apart, I had to fix it up a little before being able to take a photo of it.
