Was craving cheese fries rather early today. To my surprise shake shack opens at 10:30. I wasn't sure what to get but they were so patient while I reviewed the menu. In the past the burgers have just been ok but TODAY . Idk if it's the location just being better or because it was slow around opening time. But they cooked my burger to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised to see this new shake shack location. I ordered the chicken shack with fries and a peach tea strawberry which all in all was about 12 dollars. The chicken sandwich and the fries were served hot and fresh, that's why it takes a little longer to get your order. It had fresh crispy pickles in it and lettuce, and was delish. Staff was friendly. I'm very to happy to see they have a shake shack in this area, I had to check it out! I think it's really cool that there's a drive-thru and there is plenty of parking. When you walk in they have kiosks to place your order there, they weren't working for us so we went to the counter to order. The lady who took my order was very kind, good service there. Our food took about 5 minutes to come out, not bad at all. Presentation is great. Amble amount of cheese on my fries and if you like spicy try their spicy fries, delicious. My burger tasted good too. It's really clean inside and I love all the glass walls, it gets a lot of sunlight so it's a good vibe for me. There was music playing but not too loud that I couldn't have a conversation with my friend. I would go back, no complaints! First time here and I noticed how nice, bright and clean the store is. I was met/greeted at the kiosk. He mentioned the most ordered item and then told me his favorite, the avacado chicken and also said the new Dubai chocolate shake was good. I chose the single burger and customized to add the fried onions to it (didn't order the ff onion rings). Also a nice large ice tea. When I return, and I will, I'll have the avacado chicken! They were patient while we were trying to figure out what we wanted in the drive through and answered questions about certain menu items. We ordered a lot of food so they had us pull into their parking spots to bring it out to us. Upon getting our food we did not get any of the condiments we asked for on the side nor did we get any napkins. My husband went inside and got the items and he said the workers were cool about it. I tried the shack stack. It was hot and fresh however there wasn't a depth of flavor it just tasted like an unseasoned cheese stick. Bc of the stuffed mushroom, I could not taste the meat on the burger. I am glad I got some shack sauce to give me some flavor. I would stick to the smoke shack, which my daughter ordered. My husband had the Korean bbq burger. He said it was pretty good but definitely needed the extra bbq sauce. I loved my cheese fries! The spicy Korean bbq fries didn't taste like Korean bbq . The sprinkle of seasoning didn't really add much flavor so the kbbq sauce is what made it. The yuzu honey lemonade was great. The dragon fruit pomegranate lemonade tasted like a refresher but wasn't really sweet or sour, maybe it was watered down. We went here on a Sunday afternoon at about 2:00 PM. There were a few other people in the restaurant, but not very busy. There was a very friendly floor attendant that helped us navigate the ordering kiosk and told us how to get a free chicken sandwich. Awesome! That's where the good feeling stopped. Although it wasn't busy, the food took a good 15 minutes to come out. We ordered the fries double fried, but they came out luke warm. We had two drinks, but it came with only one straw. No big deal, but no straws are at the condiments station. Went to the counter that wasn't staffed, but the manager was busy arguing with an employee. I just stood there waiting like an idiot for a stupid straw. He finally came over to see if I'd been helped. I think my face turned fire engine red. The burger was nicely cooked and juicy. It was yummy! The total for two double burgers one fries and two drinks came to just shy of $40.00, What has happened to fast food prices? Yikes! Sorry Shake Shack, $3.79 for a soft drink is crazy. I've only been here a couple times but it is really good! I 100% recommend the SmokeShack Burger as the cherry peppers have the littlest kick that pack the biggest punch to the burger. Spicy fries (fries with seasoning) are a nice touch as well. read more
