Just pure, high-quality açaí and fruit, the way it's meant to be. The toppings are great, the fruit tastes fresh, and I really appreciated that they offer plenty of vegan options -- even vegan protein, which is surprisingly hard to find at açaí shops. I found an article online that listed Tucson's top smoothie places and this place came up. It's in a strip mall which is why I never noticed it before. I couldn't have been more surprised at what a fantastic experience this was given the hidden nature of this gem. First of all, I was super high-maintenance and wanted something that wasn't on the menu. They had a juice that I wanted to model it after, and then I also wanted to add all kinds of things. I was especially excited to see that some of their additional ingredients were organic, which is rare to find here in Tucson. I got the Green Goddess ingredients and added almond butter, almond milk, banana, flax seed, chia seed, and avocado. Not only was the person at the counter willing to entertain this mess of a creation, she pointed out that without the almond milk (which I had neglected to include originally), it would be too think. So she gave me the chance to add a liquid. In addition, she was concerned that it wasn't going to be sweet enough (I had originally not asked for banana), so she offered honey and when I mentioned that I wasn't really into added sugars in my smoothie, she suggested a fruit. Lastly, it turns out that they have an option for either plain chia seed or chia seed soaked in coconut water. Be still my heart!! I chose the latter since she gave me the choice. The place is very cute, they were playing good music, and even though most people were taking theirs to-go while I was there, I enjoyed sitting to sip my smoothie and relax for a while. The only thing I would possibly suggest for an improvement is to ditch the foam glasses for something that's recyclable. He made me a smoothie instead of a juice and proceeded to argue with me that it was a juice, when it clearly wasn't, and I watched him use the blender.
