I've been here before to sample the ice cream and it was very good. Last time I noticed that there were a lot of people who were dining in. So we decided to give it a try on this time out. It was a very good experience. We had the shrimp wrap which was very tasteful and juicy. I liked the way the hot dog was prepared. The cowboy burger was juicy as well. I have been driving past shake station for many years now but have never found myself with the time to stop in and check it out. So I have to say that when I did stop in with my daughter for lunch I was pretty excited to try their food. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with tater tot's along with a large iced tea and my daughter had an order of chicken nuggets with french fries And a raspberry hot fudge shake. I have to say that my Philly cheesesteak was pretty good and that's about where it ended. The tater tots were crisp but neither the Philly cheese steak or tater tot's had any seasoning at all! A little bit of salt would've helped tremendously. My daughter didn't even finish the nuggets. She said that they were worse than McDonald's! And her french fries also had no seasoning at all. I can understand if you didn't season your food at all, maybe you were saving money towards your food cost but when I walked out of there with a $26 bill and not completely satisfied I was not happy. Obviously in the Covid world now, we got our order togo and after they handed us the to go bags I asked them for my ice tea which they forgot. When we got in the car and drove off we were surprised to see that there were no napkins no forks and most of all no ranch dressing that my daughter specifically asked for for her nuggets. I think if you were going to charge the prices that you do maybe have something special about your chicken nuggets and not something that is served in a prison or a nursing home. And seriously with these prices you can afford to put a little bit of salt on your fried food. On the other side of the coin, I do have to say that my daughters raspberry hot fudge milkshake was very good. I will continue my route past them the next time I'm in the area as I really don't think this is a place that I'm going to crave at any time in the future. read more

Went to this great local restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at about 330. Great service and friendly servers. I had the naked wings and they were cooked just right. Even though there was no sauce in them, the wings were tasty and tender. The group I was with had quesadillas and shakes and they were very happy. This is a great burger/shake place. Visiting family and hit this place several times. I love the hand spun shakes and malts. Some of the best I have had anywhere. They also have a small menu and the burgers are very good. They do get slammed at times when groups show up together but overall great service. The only negative is the food does not always come out together. But when it does it's great. They have a large outside seating area that is good if you bring a pet or want to sit outside. It never disappoints ever. My grandson who's on the spectrum has a limited diet of what he will eat which means we can't go to just any place. Shake station has a grilled cheese he will eat. Plus, the staff are really nice and always helpful. We had Nico who was great! Other than that for me it's really good. I'm not a fried food person but recently had their seafood basket which was amazing! Spices were so good and it was fresh and once cooked staff runs your food out to you immediately. Skye and the other staff members here know how to work the front of a restaurant. They work amazingly well as a team. Just having lunch, we witnessed one server noticing a problem and another server just overhearing the conversation - went and fixed the problem. Food is good, could be upgraded from pre-made burger patties to something more fresh, but the experience was good. Ice cream is yummy. Inside and outside seating. If you come at noon expect a short wait. I hope the manager recognizes how special their team is and awards them appropriately. read more

The burgers were amazing! I ordered tater tot's but got hush puppies, all good though they were delicious! I got the burger to go, next time I'll eat it there. Shakes were pretty good, so I assume the same thing will go for their ice cream. What we were really disappointed in, and thus only gave 3 stars for, was the food itself. Granted we only ordered burgers and fries, so maybe the other menu items are better, but the burgers themselves lacked flavor. I got the regular cheese burger and my husband got the one with the mushrooms. It seemed as though the patties were not properly seasoned and the toppings were supposed to give the burger it's flavor? Yes, toppings are supposed to add to the experience of the burger, but a good burger should taste good, regardless on its own. We may come back to try other appetizers and ice cream, but will never get any burger again. All staff members were really nice - always a plus! read more

The shakes are great BUT! the staff does not consistently wear face mask. The mask are around the neck but not on the face! This is for no reason except they don't want to wear them. I sat waiting for food just watching the servers walk around talking with patrons with their masks down under their chin and some of them with masks covering only the mouth not the nose. I do like the food, the servers are friendly, the shakes are near perfect! The servers are more interested in gossiping. They do forget to put things in your to-go boxes. If you order a shake it might take them 5 to 10 minutes after it's ready for them to realize, due to standing around. The servers seem to be "Chatterboxes without Mask" more than anything! read more

I've been here many times, and the food varies from awesome to meh. I went in today, and maybe half the staff and none of the cooks were wearing masks. I mean to say they HAD masks, they just had them around their neck. The hostess / cashier / manager was one of them without a mask, and she literally had contact with every single person in there. You're a restaurant and you're allowed to be open, make the effort. And none of the customers were wearing a mask, but in all fairness they were at least trying to eat... So if the covid thing is important to you, as it is to me, then it's a dealbreaker for the near immediate future. Won't be going here. And now I'm not sure I can go see my elderly mom for awhile... :( Not to mention I watched my sandwiches sit there 10 minutes waiting for the French fries. And the chicken sandwich looked like it had been thrown together from 10 feet away. It had to be reassembled. I don't expect this place to be perfect, but that was kinda the frosting on the proverbial cupcake.... Honestly the whole menu both regular food and dessert was a lot bigger than I expected and my group of 6 all ordered a pretty wide variety of options so I felt like that was a big selling point. The service was a little slow in my opinion, but it was also fairly busy in there. It didn't feel like a quick in and out, however you got fresh tasty food and really really good shakes.
