This was our first time at Popi's and we really enjoyed it. We went with a group of 6 on a Sunday morning and didn't have to wait. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I had the ham and egg sandwich and it was good! My husband had the meat lovers omelet and said it was more cheese than meat, but he still enjoyed it. The portions are good and the pricing is decent. Stopped in for lunch before picking oranges. The menu was large with plenty of variety. All in our pastry were happy with their meals. Portion sizes were good as was the service. I'd consider this a solid casual sit down restaurant for the area. Will return when we come back. read more

We both enjoyed our meals. I appreciated that our server let us try the sausage gravy before we ordered. It's an unassuming place but with the friendly service and good food, we will be back. My only suggestions are to replace the menus. They were a little worn. And the window sills could also use a cleaning. read more

Very flavorful chicken. Super juicy. It's hard to make chicken breast this juicy, but they nailed it. They serve it with perfectly cut raw onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and a little mayo. The chicken sandwich is excellent, and it comes with super crispy sweet potato fries. read more

This is actually a pretty cute place for comfort food. We ordered for our family s variety of things as we were starving driving through... nothing was spectacular, the service was ok, and the food didn't come out that quick, even though the place wasn't even half full. This is a very typical old school mom and pop family diner. We went for dinner. Menu had typical family restaurant fare... meatloaf, chicken fries steak , meatloaf. Pretty big menu actually. The breakfast stuff looked good but we were there for dinner. Got a gyro sandwhich (I think the owners are Greek?) and a chicken fried steak. Also had cold beer. Bathrooms are outside ( but connected to the building) I'd prob eat here again if we were hungry and didnt want to cook. I'm def going to come back to try the breakfast By the way, we were there for Thurs night trivia ( friends invited us) ... so we ate dinner first. Food is home cooking. Breakfast is great and the specials change regularly so a nice variety of good Southern dishes. I like the fried chicken and the atmosphere is family friendly and the service is great with most a few are not a personal as others but all good. If you don't feel like cooking and you want a good home cooked southern meal Poppy's place three is the place to be. read more

A hidden gem, nestled behind a semi trailer truck storage. We were pleasantly surprised with the inside when we went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. Promptly seated at a nice booth and our server was right there to get drinks while we studied the extensive menu. We were all hungry. Food is basic diner type food. Service is good. Atmosphere is a little loud. But my pet peeve is charging people for using a debit card. It's an advantage to the restaurant as it keeps theft down and is more accurate. Big minus for me. read more

This place is near where we are staying for a few days. It's a great breakfast place. Starting with good coffee. I had a breakfast of eggs, hash browns and a piece of really good blackened fish. We have been here a number of times now and have had enough different things to do a review. This is an early breakfast and lunch place. They are open from 6am to 2:30pm daily. We have been here for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, we have had pancakes, corn beef hash, eggs with potatoes and bacon, chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. All have been good. For lunch, we have had fish and chips (real good) and the chicken rice soup (favorite) I recommend and will definitely return to Popi's. The only downside is they aren't open for dinner! read more

Excellent little place to go to for great dinners. Great prices, very fast and efficient service and really taste very homemade everything in great portions. I had the Mediterranean chicken delicious. My husband has pork chops two of them which are pretty big with a couple of sides. There's salad dressing is delicious and to die for. Been going to Popi's place for around 30 years! Always been a fantastic spot for good wholesome food. It's a family owned and operated restaurant! There's like 4 or 5 of them around, all w same great food options and very consistent quality! I was 17 when Popi hired me at her original spot next to the ballpark..always arrived to work super early in the morning with a giant Homemade, delicious Breakfast already prepared for me. She and Manny are incredible people w a lovely family that keeps their tradition alive w spots all over. Extremely hard working, honest, passionate people that everyone should strive to emulate in their own lives! When I got married in my early 20's, Popi insisted she would Cater our wedding.... The spread was Awesome! Knocked it out of the park when it was time to pay for the Bill, she would not accept a dime! She did it all for free on their own dime! I'm about to turn 50 this year, and I'll always remember this family as some of the Very Best Humans I've ever come across! Stopped for lunch on a Thursday and found it to be fairly busy. We had our drink order taken quickly, but then the wait began. We waited 45 minutes and finally got our servers attention and she said food would be out shortly. 2 of the 4 orders were right, even to the extent of well done bacon and well cooked poached eggs. Mine had tomato's when I didn't want them, but my husbands order was totally wrong. He didn't realize until he started eating the omelet that it wasn't what he ordered. Turns out they gave him somebody else's order. We were in a rush taking friends to the airport, and because we waited so long for food, we were in a bigger rush. The manager removed the charge from our bill, and brought the correct omelet out, but we didn't have time to stay and eat it. Frustrating! read more

For what Popi's is, it works well. This small diner with quite a diverse menu, ranging from American to Mexican to Greek cuisines. They decided to cater to all people at a low cost. A lot of restaurants use this tactic to be successful, having a variety of cuisines instead of creating something unique with exciting meals. I can't fault something that works. Can I just say the family behind these Popi's establishments have such a wonderful history behind their journey to America and they are just really kind hearted people. I had the pleasure of meeting THE Popi & her daughter in law. They were one of the two caterers I could select from through my wedding venue. They fully impressed me on the first day I met them and tried their food. What I thought was going to be a small taststing for six, was definitely a 4 course meal. Everything was incredibly delicious and made with absolute love. A few of the items we tried were: Pork egg rolls, spanakopita, greek meatballs, coconut shrimp, garlic orzo, short rib, lemon piccata chicken, greek potatoes, green beans almandine, asparagus, fresh warm rolls, and the greek salad... if i could drink a bottle of the dressing I would. I obviously picked Popi's Place as the caterer. At the wedding they did an outstanding job, food was hot and fresh, massive portions. Popi was there at the wedding and personally delivered my food and some extra appetizers to my husband and I. 10/10 all around experience with the establishments catering skills. read more
