I ordered online for lunch to go and it was ready promptly and it was delicious! I followed another reviewer's recommendation for the Buffalo chicken sandwich and I had the sweet potato tots for a side. Everything else as hot and tasty as heck. We have been here over 15 times since moving to Ellenton on June 21. The food has always been delicious and the service outstanding! It really is sad when there is one person on staff that completely ruin our night tonight. She treated us like we were a bother since we were only ordering ice cream. She was snippy and very abrupt. When she brought our ice cream out, what a disappointment. My single scoop cake cone was barely of the brim of the cone and my hubby's triple scope barely came half way up the 16oz cup it was served in. She never checked in on us one single time as she brought the check with the ice cream. We'll be back, but I can guarantee Nikki won't be serving us. read more

Awesome spot!! We've been talking about going here forever and it did not disappoint!! I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato tots and my boyfriend had the cowboy burger with fries. Both were delicious. We ended the meal with a chocolate and hot fudge shake that were perfect! The place itself is so cute and nostalgic. And the staff was excellent. We had the sweetest waitresses. Overall a good diner experience with the food you would expect from a quality diner. Not spectacular, but good. Now the cheese steak and the cookies and cream milkshake were delicious. Definitely my recommendation. Fries and onion rings were acceptable but nothing exciting there. I'd definitely try different sides next time. Well I have read good reviews about this place. and finally gave it a try. So disappointing, the food was your typical cheap fried food. The service. was lacking as. a party we asked for silverware and they gave us one set we shared . The ambiance was cool as we sat on. the patio for a nice evening. The food was all fried and over seasoned and salted . I also had the root beer float, although together it was good , the ice cream was very sweet, I believe it may be homemade? We found this hidden gem and loved the retro diner feel as soon as you walk in the door. We got a cheeseburger and coconut shrimp basket to share with onion rings & fries. Everything was great I enjoyed the shrimp more and my aunt enjoyed the cheeseburger. We also got some ice cream for the drive home. read more

Unfortunately they have changed a ton of the food that they had. They no longer use the same fries and they even pre portion the phillys and it is a small amount now. I sent my philly back and they wouldn't add to it and it was mostly bread and no meat.We are super disappointed because this was the go to spot for our family after long soccer game days like today. This place is the bomb!!! We recently moved in down the road and kept passing it: a cute place with misters and decorative outdoor lights over the patio, and vintage signage inside. Busy!!! (A good sign) . Our server, Mara was phenomenal, a rarity these days especially because she's so young!! She recommended a hamburger bun for the Nashville chicken sandwich (rather than Texas toast), and my husband loved it:" deliciously hot and messy!" I had one of the nightly specials, the cheeseburger ( minus cheese!) which was also delicious, well cooked, generous in size, and with yummy fries. The accompanying pickle was crisp and flavorful. The milkshake ( vanilla) was AMAZING--thick, decadent, the best ...really!! Inexpensive as well--a great find!! We ate on the patio and watched several people use the walk up take out window, where they also serve ice cream and sundaes. We returned three days after this meal and ate inside. I read several of the reviews, which were from favorable to questionable. My experience was anything but favorable. We order a banana split and hot fudge sundae. Twenty minutes pass with other customers placing orders and receiving them, I inquired about my order with the same girl who took it. The excuse was they were short staffed. I waited another ten minutes and observed more customers placing orders and picking them up. I asked a second time. They had no clue about what happened to my order. The girl scrolled back through her order screen and finally found it. It had been missed and was not going to be made. Now thirty minutes had passed and our missing order was still not a priority, I decided to cut my losses and get a refund. Would I return, probably not. read more

Really great place to grab a bite to eat or some delicious ice cream. Come here on any weekend evening and you will be waiting for a table, but the wait is definitely worth it. Service is always extremely quick, and the waitresses are sweet as pie. The inside reminds you of an old style diner with the menu to match - truly a hidden gem in our area and luckily far enough away from the island that there are not too many tourists. read more
