Snow crab legs are all shell and no meat. I ordered the pick three seafood combo. I paid the $5 up charge for the snow crab legs. The legs arrived and where skinny and the shell was flexible (overcooked). As I tried breaking them open the little meat that was in the shell was sticking to the shell and rubbery. As I tried to pull the little flakes of meat out, it shredded. Some of the legs were empty and had absolutely no meat in them at all. I paid $30 for a bag of poor quality meatless crab legs (I'm going to come back to tell you more about this). I have been here several times and each time my meal has progressively gotten worse. Today was my last time, and I will not be wasting money in here again for the terrible crap that they call seafood. They advertise portion sizes from 1/2 to a pound. Don't bother, you never get the portion size that you ordered and they still make you pay for a size that you didn't get. They just give you whatever they want to give you, which is less than what you order and pay for. I used to like the mussels. Today they had these oversized mussels. I took a bite of one and it taste how my dog poop smells. I then picked them up one by one to examine each one. At a closer look, I found a dark poop like paste in all of them. It literally looked like poop that they did not clean out of the mussels. Back to the crab legs. Upon opening the skinny crab legs and finding no meat, I called the manager over to our table. She acted as if nothing was wrong and they tried to tell me that the meat was in the knuckle. I don't know anyone who goes out for CRAB LEGS, to get meatless crabs so they can enjoy the knuckle. The meat should be in the legs and knuckle. She didn't offer a refund and asked if I wanted something else or scissors. I didn't want anything else. I was craving crab legs. I told her I would try with the scissors. She went to the back, and came out to sit people on several different occasions. Not once did she look in my direction again after pointing out that the crab legs had no meat in them (she was supposed to bring me scissors to open the flexible shells). When I finally got her attention I told her that she never brought the scissors. She went to the back and finally came back with scissors. I had her stand there as I cut open one of the legs and I showed her that there was no meat... she just said sorry, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. When my bill came, I had to pay the full price for the meatless, rubbery over cooked snow crab legs. Don't waste your time or money coming here... anyone giving this place a good review has never had good seafood, is either flat out lying or is a friend or relative to the owner. This place is garbage. I literally paid $32.29 for corn and potatoes. Those were the only edible items in my bag. I got the everything sauce and it was supposed to be spicy. It was bland and greasy. It wasn't spicy at all. Not sure why they say it's really hot when it is flavorless (yes, she tried to give us a disclaimer about the medium being really spicy). I have been several times since last summer and this place was somewhat better then, but keeps declining in food quality and service with every visit. Just avoid this place. It is a joke. They are literally selling overpriced garbage, and calling it seafood. read more

It's worth a visit just for the décor! The inside is beautifully decorated and they stick to the nautical theme perfectly. Everything we've tried so far has been very tasty and we especially like the "errything" sauce. Considering it is seafood the value is great for the amount of food you get. This place could do so much better if they worked on their customer service. No one greets you when you walk in. I literally waited at the bar for 8 minutes before someone spoke to me to tell me "1 minute". Then I ordered a lb of each, shrimp and snow crab legs. Made it a point to say "separate bags" because it's for 2 separate people. Waited 15 minutes for the server to throw the bag on the bar. Didn't say "here", "thank you", or reviewed the order. Other customer standing next to me asked if it was mine. I had to check the receipt stapled to the bag. Yes, it was mine and when I opened the paper bag, my shrimp and crab were in one bag. So I continued to sit there to get the waiter attention. After about 5 minutes I gave up. Honestly I was heading to Juicy Crawfish 7 miles away but I liked the seasoning here better. However, I won't be back. I prefer better service!!!!!! With Juicy Crawfish and Loui Loui all in less than 10 miles from here, you all really need to step up in the service department. read more

Hands down a disgusting display of customer service and unprofessionalism ever experienced from any food establishment I've been to! Visiting Shaking crawfish for the first time in Doraville, GA, my wife and I were seated and excited about partaking of crawfish which I'd never had and my wife being from New Orleans was eager to try. A sample was requested of via my wife for one crawfish to confirm what quantity we'd order and how tasty they actually may be prior to ordering. Immediately we were met with hostility for asking for a sample but by the MANAGER HIMSELF! He after some push back and hostility, literally threw a tray with one crawfish on the table to sample and walked away abruptly. Came back minutes later and snatched the tray off the table almost bumping into my wife and I to retrieve it. Asking the staff for the manager to report such a shocking incident to our shock and dismay it was advised the person dishing out the one crawfish and terrible treatment was indeed the manager! Sad thing about it all was per my wife the crawfish was above average but due to suck hostile treatment I recommend another establishment with better customer service completely. read more

Cheap beer, good food, what more can a girl ask for? Stopped by today around 1:00 pm. It was slow, so service was fast. I got the seafood combo for $25 with shrimp, blue crab, snow crab, mussels. It was all very tasty with the mild everything seasoning I choose. I also order a side of cajun fries (pretty much regular fries with cajun seasoning, also very tasty. They were fresh out the fryer! I washed it all down with their $2.75 draft beer. While their draft selection is small, it's the most affordable that I've seen in Atlanta. I was very upset once I got home to enjoy my food. I ordered the "make your own seafood combo" and paid an additional $5 to get 1lb of snow crab. To my dismay.....I had ONE snow crab cluster. After talking to someone at the store, she informed me that ONE crab leg cluster was equal to 1lb....NOT! Did they do anything to rectify???? No! Our meal was ruined! Horrible. Should have been warned when you walk in and smell nothing but old fish. On the plus side, the service was great. Seated promptly and excellent table service. The food - however...I ordered clam chowder as a frist - canned soup with enhancements. My wife ordered the Crawfish Roll (listed as a side) - the "side" comes with a "side" of french fries. They did allow her to change that to hush puppies. My soup came out and I ate it - her roll did not come out until AFTER our entrees. We both ordered the 2 selections fried with one side item. Me - Oysters and Calamari. My wife - Oysters and Catfish. Both with french fries for the side. The french fries are frozen and old - definitely not fresh cut - and tasteless - they do not salt the fries at all. My entree - the calamari was huge rings (like onion rings) with the onion ring type of batter - rubbery and no flavor at all - like eating rubber bands. The oysters were a mix - the two small ones had lots of flavor - the three larger ones were greasy and tasteless. And they use the same onion ring style batter - not right for fresh fish. My wife had the same problem with her fries and oysters - none of hers had any taste. Her catfish came with two large fillets but they were almost pure grease - she could not eat them - one bite and grease was pouring out of the fillets. Total - $10 for the two appetizers, $10 each for the entrees, and $2.25 for ice tea. with tax it came to $37. Captain D's would have been far better at half the price. read more

I ordered the Create your own boil in which you choose three items to go into the boil which comes with corn and potatoes. I was initially brought the wrong food, and then was told that it couldn't be switched. I was ready to leave at that point but another waitress came back and re-ordered my food. I was kinda skeptical about this place because they had a Groupon lol but I had a friend that visited and said it was so good. After waiting about 10 minutes or so, my food arrived at the table I had to request a bib and glovesI wasn't really pleased with the food as the taste was full of spice but lacked on the flavor! I'm what you call a Cajun Seafood connoisseur so when it comes to seafood I don't play around! When I go to a restaurant I don't expect to have to ask for basics like napkins, refills or silverware. Was Sunday and had some free time so me and my brother took it to Boiling Crawfish after I got the yelp deal to try them out. I had the Shrimp and Chicken Tender Basket while my brother had the Calamari Basket and Chicken Tender Basket. Food was well proportioned as we did not know what to expect size wise. The shrimp are fried with the heads included. Everything was pretty good. The only mishap happened when the waiter charged is full price even after I had given her my Yelp coupon when we first got there, but she did make things right by giving us the coupon cash amount back. All in all the restaurant was pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon but the food was very good and definitely has good potential. read more

Customer service was okay tonight, they weren't rude but I would have appreciated if they came to the table to make sure everything was okay after we got our food. I ordered 6 lbs of Cajun flavored crawfish and some calamari. I was very satisfied in the size of the crawfish but not so much the taste. The crawfish is VERY bland guys, and at the bottom of the bag it is very powdery. I'm sorry about saying that but I think you guys should make your recipe a lot better.
