I got invited to grab dinner with some neighbors and we went here to eat. This restaurant is located in the shopping center near the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Plenty of free parking and accessible to both 85 and 285. It borders the Tucker/Norcross cusp. When you enter there is a hostess that seats you. The ambience is clean and well lit. There are workers constantly wiping down surfaces and replenishing items. We went on a Thursday night so the patrons were minimum but still a nice amount of people. Our waitress came over immediately for our drink orders and came by the table every few minutes to remove dirty plates. The best part was her coming by the table to let us know that the seafood had been replenished so we had a chance to get that item. That alone was amazing customer service. Food was good with a nice variety of seafood, sushi, a few American items, fruit and desserts. I think they have a made to order area as well. My only recommendation would be to add a little more to the dessert area and fruit station. It's rare you find clean establishments in the buffet world but they are doing very good with cleanliness. Once complete she brought over the check which was 5 different bills and returned fast with zero issues. The dinner Buffett was $19.99 which is an amazing price. I love how this restaurant has become super popular but enough business that the locals know about it. Why? Because I fear the quality will change. Definitely will be back here regularly. read more

I am very happy to have Sweet Cherry in the area. I have been to Sweet Cherry a few times now, and I am so happy to have it right by my house. The variety is exceptional, and the food is very good for the price point. Everything has been fresh, and for the most part, tasty. Trays are constantly being refilled, and the service is very attentive and friendly. As with any buffet, there are hits and misses. If I want great sushi, I will need to go to a more upscale sushi buffet or an actual Sushi restaurant. As a pescatarian, there are tons of great options. The place was also a big hit with my 6-year-old. It is an amazing deal for kids! She enjoyed the lo mein, fries, and watermelon the most. She also devoured both her own and her grandfather's mini ice-cream sandwiches. Favorites of mine include the mushrooms, green beans, rice noodles, crab rangoon, and various types of shrimp dishes. They also have almond cookies, which are a lovely touch. I will need to try the grill and pho bar at some point, but on GLP-1, there is only so much I can eat at once. This time, I took my mom, niece, and cousin to try the newly opened Sweet Cherry Buffet. A friend told me the restaurant had a clean and simple interior with reasonable prices, so we decided to check it out. The weather wasn't great that day, but once we arrived, the restaurant did feel pretty clean and modest inside. The staff greeted us warmly and quickly seated us, and then it was time to start eating. As usual, I tried a little bit of almost everything. For the hot foods and seafood, I had mussels, fried shrimp, blue crab, calamari, and crawfish. The ingredients tasted fairly fresh, though the flavors were a bit mild overall. I think stronger seasoning or more spice would make the food more appetizing. One disappointing thing was that I didn't see any snow crab legs from the dinner menu -- which I know is one of the main reasons many people go to seafood buffets. The fried foods were okay, although some tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and became a bit hard. The sushi, hibachi grill, and pho station were all decent and pretty standard compared to other buffets -- not amazing, but not bad either. Overall, the restaurant felt clean and comfortable. Honestly, for around $20, it's hard to complain too much. In terms of value for the price, it's still a pretty reasonable buffet option. read more

This is a new buffet, and it was very bright and inviting. The service was a tad hovering, but there was definitely service. The reason I'm saying it was okay is soley because of the food. I tried several different things and I could not find anything that I liked that much. It's also a very very small buffet with limited offerings. What I liked: 1) Calamari salad 2) tuna sushimi 3) seaweed salad. 4) Jello (yes, jello) What I didn't like and couldn't eat: Mushrooms (strange flavor) Beef and broccoli (the beef didn't taste like beef and had a soy texture) Shrimp salad (very fishy taste, no flavor) Fried oysters (strong seafood taste, bitter) Noodles (lukewarm and flavorless) There is a significant hibachi area toward the back, and many people were in line/waiting for their food to be cooked. One thing about it two things for sure I'm always gonna try out a buffet. I don't care if they also have the same food or not it's all about the different experience. This place is pretty much new so the customer service is gonna be top-tier. They constantly ask you are you OK if you need anything? The restaurant was very clean and had lots of options to choose for just like any old buffet. They had a nice ice cream parlor area, where you have different flavors of ice cream that you could choose from and even use the machine for a few games or grabbing pick item. You know those little vending machine toy grabbers. The food was just like all the other buffets in the area they all sell the same thing. They definitely give this place a 7/10. The only thing I didn't like is that they closed at 9:30 we got there at nine and they told us to look around and see if we wanted to stay which we ended up staying either way because everyone knows after you have two plates you so happen to be full out of nowhere. read more

I drove a nice distance away to come check this place out. It's located right off 85/285 area in the Tucker area. Parking lot was pretty full and on a Saturday night, it can become hard to find a parking spot. I did see mobile police camera stations which usually means there are lots of car break in's in the area so definitely don't keep any valuables inside and make sure to look your the doors. Walking into this place, there was a nice front lobby area with a cute robot that speaks. We were seated right away as it was super crowded on a Saturday night. Price for weekend dinner was $19.99 and for kids (3-5), they are charged $9.99. The buffet food area had a good selection. There was a hibachi, pho, and sushi bar. The hibachi was very tasty. Hot food selection wasn't bad. I really enjoyed their cajun crawfish broil including their zesty corn. Waitress service was fast and good. I did like their Lychee fruit in the dessert bar. I would definitely recommend this Chinese buffet if you're in the area. I probably wouldn't drive too far out of your way to come here tho. read more

I went on a Saturday about 5 PM in the afternoon. Several items were empty. I had to wait around for them to fill things. The Seafood had an ammonia smell as if it was not fresh the advertise having lobster tails I waited several times for them to come, and when I finally was able to get one, they were extremely hard overcooked and reeked of ammonia. I stopped my kids from earring . It was slathered with mayonnaise. The texture was rubbery and hard.. the sushi smelt OK and they were making it fresh, but it was all the basic stuff like California rolls or they put a huge bowl of rice for a very small piece of fish. The restaurant itself was very bright and open fresh and new, . The Norris level was average . The service was to be expected, . but given the food that was there, I will not be back. read more

Everything is excellent, from the exterior decoration, signage, interior design, seating, presentation, flooring, food choices, cleanliness, etc. Taste and presentation are a solid 10 out of 10, likewise the server was very attentive and even if I'm trying to be critical, nothing is wrong with this place. They have more seafood choices than other similar buffets. Place is clean, modern & organized. Even their restroom is. What made even better our first try is having such a great server named Ken. They have a little bit of everything, but the sushi bar and the Mongolian grill are the real stars here--both fresh and loaded with options. First off, who has a Asian buffet and doesn't have soy sauce on the tables? The roasted chicken was crazy dry. The chicken had almost no seasoning. The rice noodles were bland and not much to them. The dim sum was old and barely kept its shape, not good. Their spinach and cheese dish was way too sweet. To be honest the, best thing was the ice cream and even that wasn't the best quality.
