Setting a new low in Vegas stays. Hate to rate businesses low but we were horrified by the place. Should have known better based on location. Everything was so dirty from the bathroom sink/toilet, to the phone and carpets. Even found a cockroach crawling around the walls next to my food. Our reservation was 3 days total only because we had pets and everywhere else was pretty booked up. We couldn't stay there a third day and ran away as soon as we could. We attempted to call prior to booking to ask about pet fees, no one ever answered the phone.

Outside my room, a filthy carpet.

What a horrible experience. I slept in my clothes. The floor was dirty. There was no coffee maker or microwave. If you look at other reviews, they've been removed because they had mold growing in the coffee makers and God knows how awful the microwaves were. I felt unsafe in my room. I checked in after 11 PM after getting up at 2 AM and driving from Los Angeles. I was way too exhausted to go to the front desk or try to straighten this out. From the reviews every room is filthy. It's in a really bad part of town. I would recommend staying anywhere else. I booked through Priceline over the phone. It was posted as a 3 1/2 star hotel. I've trusted Priceline on the past. Never again. Stay anywhere else.

The room that my family checked in was horrible and I am not being dramatic. The reason why I am saying that this hotel is really bad is because they have bed bugs, don't change the bed sheets, hair everywhere, smelled like smoke and every thing was dirty. Everything was outdated and needed to be replaced. The front desk was understandable and moved us to a different room that looked better than the other one because it look more clean but don't let that fool you because when we checked the closet the replacement sheets were still dirty and weren't even folded. Also I forgot to say that when we lifted the sheets to check for bed bugs the sheets looked like they had pee

Exterior. Sketchy area of town, buildings all around with graffiti. Worst area of all of Vegas

I originally booked a different hotel on 8/4 as our flights had changed and we needed to add an extra night to our stay. Didn't look too bad and reviews were decent. Booked through snap travel. Literally the only reason I used snap travel was for the price/quality of the room of the original booked hotel. I didn't need anything super fancy as we just needed a clean room with a shower and bathtub (so I could soak my feet) Literally probably one of the WORST "hotels" (if you can even call it that). Sketchiest area of town. We checked in late because we were just going to go back to the room and relax/soak before our flight in the morning. First impression- boarded up graffiti building directly across the street, super sketchy area. Dried puke in the parking lot that was still there when we left (I wish I took more pictures than the ones I took) room reeked like dog pee. MOLD on the ceiling from a leak that does not look remediated. Huge water intrusion spots Tv had no remote, tv stand was filthy and I don't think ever wiped down. Broken glass on tv stand. Sheets (and towels) had someone else's makeup on them. Bathroom wall has large spot that someone's dog chewed. Hole punched in bathroom door and poorly patched. Walls in bathroom had stuff running down them. Hard to see in pics. All light switches totally filthy. Bathtub stopper was broken so couldn't even use the tub. Possible poop on bathroom wall. Not sure what it was. Did not even feel comfortable showering here. I am filing a BBB complaint as well. RUNNNNN

Ok so after canceling our hotel room wich was waaaayyy too ugly and crappy (travelodge yes im talking about you) we decided to check this hotel out. It is Jan 2019 and we paid 220$ for two nights and we left a 30$ deposit. Sooooooo we go into our bedroom, on the second floor in the lobby area, I believe it was room 207. As we walked in I was in awe because there was a small hallway with a nice closet , that included an iron and an iron board, a safe and some hangers. In the bathroom well it was very clean Except the toilet did NOT flush. We had to hold the thing down for about 30 seconds straight in order for it to flush. The tub was expectacular!!!! Im talking extra white crispy clean, it was sorrounded by a white courtain The sink was also clean. The bedroom well the bed was soft and they had the basic plain old sheets. There was three pillows, two standard sized and one king size. The lamps did not work but the ceiling fan and light did. There was a new flat screen tv. The fridge was working so I placed my drinks in there hehe and they was cold. The microwave worked too The Rug looked old but not dirty. Pros: Free paking obviously, clean bath and cheap. They have a pool Cons: I did not feel safe because this hotel is located entering downtown las vegas and I could tell there were very much locals around smoking and acting crazy. I did not see a security around. But the entire place is being videotaped by surveillance cameras. ALSO my room had a balcony but I was surprised that it had access to other rooms. It was a long balcony and the balcony doors where nothing but crystal. I did locked my doors because SAFETY as I did not know the other people staying there. I really wished they had a wall between the balconies or some shit‍ NO BED BUGS I am the first thing bed bugs eat, I think Im sweet as fuck lmao! anyways they did not have any bed bugs on my room how lucky because I had bed bugs in other hotels that sucked the fuck out of me. Anyways I recommend this Shalimar hotel if you're on the run like me and it is under the cheap side. Also they havw a Cuban breaksfast reataurant

Cold floor, mismatched furniture bed headboard comes apart from mattress side door lock is a crap shoot! Ac busted no cable

Avoid any rooms on the 1st floor ESPECIALLY ROOM 117! total dump! No coffee maker no mini fridge....Busted AC. Mismatched everything, curtains falling down, TP holding broken. It's a dungeon filthy and floors are cold. Any and everything that has ever broken in this hotel is shoved into this tiny cramped room. Total dump! I did transfer to room 304. 110% improvement. View of pool much bigger and clean. The only plus is the Fremont Experience is a 3 min drive or really easy walk at night. Neighbor is so so. It's off the strip which is another plus. This place is kid friendly and pet friendly.

Just squished a bug next to my pillow w blood in it. Found the rest of the bed w blood dots...
    Andy L.

Was about to go to sleep in this motel then suddenly I see a small tiny bug running up the pillow. I squashed it and had a smear of blood then I checked the rest of the bed only to see little spots of blood and a trace of blood. When I confronted the manager in the front desk showing my pillow with the bug blood smeared pillow he only said "What do you want me to do about this?". He then argued with me saying that the pillows not a bug stain and we don't have bed bugs here. And I told him I specifically squished one and he just said "What do you want me to do about it" kept repeating that. We left the motel immediately after...

Horrible place. I booked online and the pictures they show online look pretty nice. As soon as we pulled up I could tell it was a bad idea. We checked in to a "non smoking" room. As soon as we go to the hallway the place reeked with weed. We opened up our room and the smell wasn't inside yet. We dropped off our stuff and left at first glance the room looked horrible. We came back at night to find a roach in the bathroom. The walls also have stains and need to be cleaned. I couldn't even sleep thinking the bed could have bed bugs. I couldn't bring myself to shower or shower my kids in this place. Never coming back

My feet after no more than 5 minutes of walking around .

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD . Let me just say this as soon as I walked into this hotel I actually thought it was beautiful, older but beautiful. I walked around for about 5 minutes before my feet were BLACK when I say black I mean BLACK ! Not a problem so I called and told them NICELY if someone was here to mop or if I could change my room to a clean one. They told me that I had been here since 3 pm and I have an animal with me. I had been on the strip all day I just came here to drop off my luggage . Plus I'm walking In the room BAREFOOT so how could I have made the room dirty. Make it make sense, sir. Anyways not a problem I let him know that and he said well there are no rooms available at the moment (it's Saturday night I totally understand) so I said okay no worries and just planned to walk in sandals. Then I notice my dog is eating pieces or something idk off the floor ! So I went down to the lobby to ask if I could sweep/ mop myself . As I'm waiting in line there's a young girl maybe 8 years old . She was asking something maybe to get a new key card and one of the guys literally just said no she said what? And he shook his head and pointed to the other attendant . We're waiting a while and she's playing with these little beads that they had on the counter. She dropped one and then that's when the attendant noticed she was playing with them he quickly started to get angry telling her I told u not to play with these u do this everyday so on and so forth . I quickly told him what is wrong with u, u don't talk to her like that! He continued to say u don't know her she does this everyday they used to be filled this high etc etc. I told him I don't care u don't yell at her ! MIND U THE LITTLE GIRL IS BY HERSELF. He continued to try to argue with me the fact that I don't understand . He explained she is gypsy and that she had been staying there for 2 years . I told him I DO NOT CARE U NEED TO STAY IN YOUR LANE SIR . I told him she is a child if I was a child I would do the same exact thing IN FACT I would buy the beads for her! Anyways I now explained to him that my room is filthy and I was wondering if I could clean it myself he sends up JUST A MOP . the mop was barley wet so I filled up my tub with bubble bath water so I could clean the floor some what ... the whole tub quickly turned black which explained why the floors are so dirty .

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

(No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! The rooms are the same, amenities are the same and what we like and don't like about this place are the same. I will say, we have come to really like the staff at the front desk as we've become sort of "regulars" here. They always make checking in pleasant, even when we get there too early.

The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
