I called Shalom for an annual service maintenance. Jose came out to do the annual service and made sure everything was working correctly! From cleaning the AC condenser to checking the freon level. Since we told him the bedrooms were colder than the kitchen and living room, he adjusted the dampers and even replaced a damper that he noticed was broken. Everything is perfect now! We contacted Shalom Heating and Air via Yelp! on a Friday evening after hours during the World Cup even, and they responded within 5 minutes! Jose was at our house the next morning and troubleshooting what the issue was with our A/C unit. He was able to fix our unit and advised we will need a new unit eventually. He quoted a reasonable price for a new unit versus another one that rhymes with Hervice Ampions...they wanted $20,000 and no duct work! Shalom was about half that price including duct work! Our central air was not working good, so we decided to check out mini splits since that is what we had when we were living in Japan. I researched a lot of brands and checked out a lot of companies and got some quotes. I ended up here at Shalom. Of course I read all the reviews and totally understand why they are rated so high. The are THE BEST ! ! ! Orlando came by our house to see exactly what we wanted and gave us various options. He answered the many questions we had and give us a lot of great information. My A/C decided it was time to take a nap during this crazy heat wave. I sent out a job request here on Yelp and they responded immediately! That was extra surprising because it was after hours. I asked if they could come first thing in the morning and they set a time and even showed up early! THAT'S UNHEARD OF!!! They came, they saw, and they fixed the problem (capacitors) and were in and out in like 30mins! Vents back to expelling the breath of the gods! When my heating and air went out last year right in the midst of a huge heat wave, I called Shalom to see if they could come and give an estimate. For due diligence, we also called a couple other companies for quotes. Shalom provided a reasonable quote and since I had seen their work and they were willing to come to the Inland Empire, I went with them. They did an outstanding job! I only had to wait a couple of days for them to squeeze us in but it was well worth it!! I would highly recommend them. I was able to use 18 month same as cash financing which really helped. This is my 2nd time using Shalom H&A for a new HVAC installation. I got a few quotes, and these guys were not the cheapest but did offer very good equipment for the money. I ended up getting their top of the line American Standard comminicative variable speed system. The difference between the old single stage system and the new variable speed system is DAY and NIGHT. It is extremely quiet, and we love the level of comfort it has to offer. We got rid of our gas furnace and now run on heatpump. I was nervous at first that it would not be able to heat the house up, but so far, it has been great! The heat that comes out of the vents it is not overwhelming like it is for gas furnace. We hope to enjoy our new system for many years. read more

Jose and his team weren't my cheapest quote, but I trusted them because he was a referral from a friend. He also provides one of the best air conditioner brands in the industry. American Standard/Trane are high rated units and I've been pretty happy with mine since its installation. They even installed my new Nest Google Thermostat so I can control the unit through my phone! I was pretty concerned because I have a three story townhouse and they used a crane to lift the unit up. The same issues just 2 months later, so they came out a 2nd time and we're able to "jump start" the thermostat, diagnosing the thermostat as the issue.
