Their drink menu is impressively broad, with a strong whisky selection from different regions, plus plenty of cocktails, spirits, and wine. I especially loved the Scotchman in Sidecar, which blends Té Bheag and Laphroaig with Cointreau and lemon. It had this really interesting balance of smoky peat and bright citrus. Naked and Famous was also great if you like something a little sharper and more refreshing, while the Mango Mojito leaned sweeter and easier to sip. The food was just as enjoyable. The Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas were probably my favorite part of the meal, with a chewy crust and really satisfying flavor. The Savory Peach from the summer specials was surprisingly good, especially with the spicy sauce on the side, and the Spicy Ropressata was another standout if you like something a little salty and bold. We also tried the Shepherd's Pie, which was warm, hearty, and comforting, and the oysters were fresh and good quality too. Overall, it feels like one of those cozy places that works equally well for drinks, a casual date night, or a laid-back evening with friends.

The atmosphere is relaxed and a bit cozy without trying too hard, which I really appreciated. The food was surprisingly good -- everything felt fresh and well thought out, not overly complicated but definitely satisfying. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Service was friendly and easygoing, not rushed at all, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it's the kind of spot I'd come back to without overthinking it -- whether for a casual meal or just to unwind a bit.

We were sat quickly and the waiter took our order. There was a promo on the strawberry makeolli slush and it was quite possibly the most refreshing alcoholic slush I ever had (might be biased given how we were tired and in severe need of a pick me up after our flight...). To my surprise, the menu features a lot of variety that I usually don't find in most of the pochas I've been to - especially items like gizzard, pork intestine, raw beef etc. We made a selection of items and found they all were good and actually spicy. The kimchi pancake was definitely my favourite, crispy and flavourful especially with the dipping sauce! My friends enjoyed the pork belly though I found it a tad bit salty (enjoy with rice for sure!). I think the food quality and taste was up to par and cohesive, good enough that I found the overall experience very pleasant. This would be a great spot for a pre-game or a fun night out with food and friends. I wish we had something like this in Vancouver because I would definitely go often!

My friend and I got the seafood pancake and the fishcake soup while drinking soju here. Both dishes were good and came in a good portion! Overall, I would come back and bring more friends next time.

There was a cover charge and they had a coat room available for $4 CAD as well. Bar wise, i felt like the bartenders could only do two ingredient drinks and what was on their cocktail menu for the night, so don't ask for too much. But the music was great, vibes were great. I want to bring my friends here.

It's on the second floor of an old warehouse building with large windows where you can sit at tables and gaze out over the street and the park. Fantastic idea! The interior design is well thought out, and there is plenty of room for dancing as well as hanging out at the back in the attached room facing the street. The bar is long and plenty of room to find a spot to order there. The DJ booth is interesting as it is set in kind of a window at ground level, with an attached room behind the decks where the performers can sit and hang out. The sound system is incredible at Standard Time! Custom built speakers are both at the front by the DJ booth AND at the back facing the booth. Of course most people were up near the booth, with few at the back even though the sound was good at both spots. I found the sound simply ethereal at the back, probably because of less people in the way and less chatter from people too. Facing the speakers, and facing away from the booth at the back gave a nice stereo image of the sound so that's where I was for quite awhile when enjoying the music on my visit. Highly recommended!
