The treatments he prescribed caused me to develop new chronic illnesses. While failing to treat and resolve a patient's illness may be common in the medical community, and can be excusable, his attitude changed over time as I failed to improve. He showed signs of disbelief and began to dismiss my symptoms. I think he got in over his head by trying to treat my symptoms himself and couldn't accept his failure. Ultimately, he stopped helping me with this problem and I stopped being his patient.
