Hi, This was the first time I visited their salon. And must say I just loved Srijana. She's like the best.My eyebrows were like super spoilt and the shape was gone since I had got it waxed before and I was not used to that so was hoping she would do something to give it a good shape and Wow!! She just did a real good job and my eyebrows look so neat and Yayy!! I bought their membership card too. It was a real good deal If you are a regular salon goer for eyebrow threading. I go here maybe every 2 or 3 weeks and they do a great job on my brows, I always get tons of compliments on how great they look. The only reason I'm not doing 5 stars is because they're really really persistent with that card thing. After I said "No I don't have the money" twice, they still ask again. I came here today and while the ladies were sweet, unfortunately the eyebrow threading job wasn't to my liking. I was very specific that I didn't want them thin as I've been growing them out (and that takes a long time), but she still ended up thinning out my brows :( I should have said something at the salon but felt bad. I went to Shanti for eyebrow threading. I thought that they did a nice job until I got home and took a closer look. I have been trying to grow out the ends of my brows for SIX years (ever since I mucked them up as a teenager) and was finally getting them to where I wanted them to be. I asked the lady specifically to keep them thick on the ends, but when I got home I realized that she had just chopped off the last half inch. I am completely devastated and will not go back. I liked them! They were quick, precise and did the job well. This was my first time trying threading, so I'm glad I tried it, but just wasn't my thing. I've taken care of my own eyebrows until now and didn't really see it being a huge benefit over plucking my own. The staff there are good at what they do. Good, fast and friendly. Be specific on your eyebrows though if you have a preference - they tend to take them thinner than many (including me) like and/or different placement/extremity of arch. I wish I could give a negative rating for this. First of all, I called them for an appointment 3 days before I wanted to have my threading done. They said they have walk-ins only. But after I went there I found that they have both appointments and walk-ins. I had to wait for 20 mins. However, I let that go. My husband bought a Groupon for me, and since the name did not match mine, they did not accept it. The fine print on Groupon did not mention anything of that sort. I had my haircut done in a similar manner, but never faced such an issue except here. It is so unfair. I really regret buying that Groupon. Wish the salon could be more accommodating. read more

She quick, focused and made my thin eyebrows appear thicker, however, after closer inspection I realized that my eyebrows are uneven. Why I likely won't return is that the cost ($16) is prohibitive. I can't get over the fact I had better and cheaper threading experiences in NYC ($7-10). read more

The reviews sold me on this place. I was so excited to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. So I bought the yelp deal, showed up right when they opened, sat down and the girl got right to work. She was quick, too quick. My eyebrows are uneven and so much thinner than I wanted them. I told her before she started that I like how thick my brows are, but I just need a clean up. When she got done she let me look and because skin is so sensitive the entire area around my brows turned bright red, so I could really tell all that much. They looked a little thinner, but I figure it was fine. After getting home and looking at them again at a much calmer state of redness I noticed that they are uneven, one is smaller than the other and they are 2 different shapes! I've never been so unhappy with a brow experience. That girl could've take a little more time considering it was me and one other person in that place. Moral of the story, if you love you're brows, don't go to this place. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this 0 stars I would. Went in for a Brazilian wax and it was terrible - I mean, HORRIBLE! They waxed me and then left 2 strips of hair near the lip area because "they couldn't get it out" apparently bc is the direction in which the hair was growing... Yet I have been getting waxes for over 2 years; I have gone with my hair MUCH longer and have gotten every waxing technique done. Needless to say, she just didn't know how to do her job. On top of that, she leaves the wax on the part she couldn't take out so I literally left the salon with hot gook on me!! Which burned as well. Then, she did not wax the buttocks area either... Which a Brazilian wax is supposed to include. Terrible experience I will never go back again. read more

I used to love Shanti, I had been going there for over a year and I had only good experiences. Until recently, when I went in to get my eyebrows done and they completely messed them up. One of my eyebrows was super thin, and the other was pretty normal. This unevenness was so embarrassing! Also, they don't have great customer service. And their trimming is awful and I often have to do it myself after I get them done. read more
