It's been a year that I have been bringing my son to Shape Shifters to get his mid-taper fade. He has curly, thick hair and trims the top every 3 months. We pay $60 per haircut with George. During the holidays, I tip $100 in an envelope. The past 2 visits, George has left my son with uneven hair and patches. We were unsure about booking George this past week. When we arrived, George was not present. We were left waiting for him. Finally another barber had to get him from the next-door barbershop getting his own haircut. George cut my son's hair pretty fast. I noticed the uneven cut again. I even asked George how he cut my son's hair. The patches were evident. Barbers know their craft. They know what they are doing. George looked at us and said his hair looked good. So I took photos. I had to have someone else fix my son's hair. You do not do this to loyal paying customers. You do Not do this to a teenager that had an upcoming event. I saw other men doing a great job at their craft could've been just George. Book with other men. You won't be disappointed! read more

Alright, check me out. My first haircut was done by John T some 250 million years ago. Ever since then we vibed out you feel me? Raised us a little dinosaur. Named him Spike. Once the meteors came John & I were separated bc we had to run, & I'm fat so I don't really run but John did. I remember this alien picked me up next to this big ass volcano right, & we took off & I was like "Yo! We gotta go back for John T!" but the main head Alien was like "Na fam. He'll be alright". Come 1991, these Aliens dropped me off at this woman's house, idk who tf she was but they said her name was "Mom" so I was like "Alright bet. Say less" the Aliens dipped out & left my ass there, I was livid. Fast forward to 2005 after getting my hair wrecked by almost every barber in OC, I meet this cat name John T. Now, I knew something was up with this guy. Like I seen him before, anyways, I let him cut my hair. It was alright, nothing like my John T from 255 million years ago, but it was cool. He's been cutting my hair ever since, & let me tell you. I feel like a new man every time I leave that place. One time I asked him "Ay, did you ever have a pet dinosaur named Spike?" & he told me to leave the shop if I was going to ask weird questions like that (So I knew it wasn't the original John T).
