I called and made an appointment and got my beard trim for the first time I've been growing it since late October 2025 the barber did an excellent job trimming it and give me some pointers on beard care and the price was I think very reasonable. Moved to Anaheim so now my boyfriend is far from his usual guy in San Diego. Luckily found this spot! Called for an appointment. They asked if I have any preference in barber but I said just someone who deals with a certain type of hair. Parking is in the back and it is limited, but if you time it right, you'll get a spot. I went with my boyfriend and because some other barbershops allowed dogs, I asked if mine could come in. Thankfully, they said yes! While waiting, a family was there while their son was getting his haircut. You can immediately tell this is an establishment that grows with a family. The wife was telling me that her husband and 3 children all go here. It was so cool seeing all of them talk so casually and so friendly. I was able to pay the barber via Zelle, but be sure to bring cash just in case. We'll definitely be coming back because the guys seem chill, the prices are fair, and the haircut was great! read more

Unwelcoming - This review is based after my 3rd visit. First off, my hair was cut by Ricky and he was professional/accommodating each time. The issue here lies with another staff member. From my very first visit, it was evident that "John Doe" had a stick up his ass. If a customer greets you/says goodbye and you're glued to your phone and you can't acknowledge the gesture, go kick rocks. Don't be in the service industry if you're going to be rude. Despite "John Doe" being rude, I made two more appointments with Ricky. On my third visit, I parked in the back and made my way inside. "John Doe" was on his way out. After about a min or two, "John Doe" came back inside and asked me if I was driving a Tacoma. I answered yes to which he replied "You parked like shit and I'm about to fuck your shit up so move your car". I highly suggest management look at footage from 4/16 around 5:30pm because this employee was double parked. I could have been an ass and parked as close as possible to him but I decided to park a good distance from him and much closer to the alley (subject to traffic) so that there wouldn't be any issues. I made my way outside and moved my truck despite him having plenty of room to back out. After coming back inside Ricky apologized for his behavior and offered a discount which I turned down. I'm fully understanding in that someone may be having a bad day but the energy from this dude has been consistently shitty from day one. read more

Of the few times I've been here, I have never left disappointed. I came in here with a slight idea of what I wanted but JLO helped me figure out what I was going for and executed it perfectly. The warm towel treatment at the end of the cut is an awesome touch. I believe a lot of bad haircuts are a result of miscommunication but these guys talk you through your request to make sure they cut your hair exactly how you want it. Came here for the first time yesterday and really liked it! Loved the eclectic decor and vibe of the place; the playfulness and joy in their work of the employees; and the cool and wide ranging selection of music they had playing. Noah did a stellar job on cutting my unruly, more than two month growth of "old white guy" hair with apparent ease, deftly turning it back into something presentable for the office. This quarantine has clearly been rough. He hadn't had a haircut since March and decided to get one at Barberians barber shop. The cut was $30 cash only and wow they did an amazing job! I've visited several times and have had different barbers each time, yet they all demonstrate a high level of skill and confidence in their cuts. The straight edge neck shave and warm towel treatment are a nice finishing touch to the experience. While I'm not sure if there's a fee for using it, I'd assume there is. I had Mike cut my hair and I think he did a great job. I got a lot of compliments on my hair cut which surprised me because I didn't think anyone would notice. We were walk-ins and we needed to come back two hrs later for an appt. I guess it was worth going back since my son was not disappointed with his haircut and actually loved it. I had been letting my hair grow out since the start of the pandemic a year ago, and it was getting out of control. I was to be in a small wedding, and knew that with such a small guest list, I'd definitely be showing up in a lot of the photos - so I had to look respectable. I called in, made an appointment, and Drew asked me to show him a few photos of what I was looking for. He nailed the look I was going for, and I got more compliments on my hair at the wedding than I ever have before. I'm a firm believer in supporting local businesses and while living in Fullerton, I would frequent the car wash across the street; I still go there now, but that is another review. One day about 2p.m. I figured I need a haircut to go with the car getting a wax/clay job. Before I got off work I called Barberiens and was told they were all booked up but to just try walking in anyways. When I walked in, Baby Face was working on a client as was Drew. I asked if they would take me as a walk-in and baby face said he could squeeze me in. Mind you I'm some Hispanic guy with short hair, chucks (been wearing them since the 70s), Dickies (been wearing them since the 70s) and probably a Through the Eyes of the Dead T-shirt. Drew asks me if I would like a beverage; I say sure why not. I was expecting water or soda. He proceeds to offer me Coors Light, Pacifico (which I was going to say) and then he says Tecate; Tecate isn't a beer most people drink. I would never have expected that. I took the Tecate. As I was waiting I mentioned that I found the barbershop on Yelp that morning. Drew asks me If I'd like to hear some music, I say sure, he asks me for an artist; I tell him, you know, I feel like some Leonard Cohen - Drew was not expecting that, he asks me if I have a song in mind and I say "I'm your Man" and he proceeds to play it. Just alone on the décor, the complimentary beer and Leonard Cohen, this place gets 5 Stars. Baby Face finishes up with his customer and allows me to bring my beer to the chair. Asks me what I want, which is a Medium-High Fade with a Skin (zero) at the bottom. Baby face gives me the top 3 fades I have ever received in my life. Solid haircut, great conversation, again my first time, I wasn't expecting a hot towel which when I closed my eyes teleported me to nirvana for a bit, and then the short massage with the shoulder machine. Six stars easily !! The price shocked me at first; $25. I had no idea; I've never paid more than $10 for a fade before, but in light of all that transpired, it was worth it and I tipped another $5. Since that first visit, I would drop in a few more times; Mikey cut my hair once and also a solid Fade from him. Baby face would always take me in via walk in- fast forward now, and word is out about Barberiens, so I think its near impossible now to get seen as a walk in; supply and demand; I get it. So make an appointment if you want in. I just never know when I'm going to be in the area getting my car washed, so I can't schedule a cut. But I will be back- you have to pamper yourself, and Barberiens is the way to do it and get a solid mean haircut.!! read more

This review is for a shave. Found out about this place by pure Yelp'ing around. The 5-stars are no joke. I came in as a walk-in and Mikey saw me right away. They give you the damn old fashioned treatment. It was awesome. He first took my ideas down without laughing. I had a full (patchy) beard going and wanted something new. He said "ok," and put me in the chair. Someone else asked if I wanted water or a soda. Totally cool hospitality. After trimming down to the basic shape, he put some pre-shave on me and put on the hot towel. The put on some shaving cream and used a straight razor to do his thing. It come out awesome. After all of that, he put on some after shave and a cool towel to soothe my face. Before letting me up, he used a shoulder massager on me. Haha. This was like the male equivalent to getting my nails done. It was not only amazing work done, but really relaxing and inviting. I highly recommend you stop by, ASAP. read more

Came in today to get a cut because my usual barber was all booked up and I needed a cut for a business trip. Let's just say I'm less then thrilled with what I walked out with. I didn't catch my Barber's name, mainly because I wanted to just get out of there as fast as I could and he didn't introduce himself. But he has the chair in back right from the entrance. What I asked for was an executive contour fade, a term, I feel like any barber should know. He asked "Do you mean a taper?". I should have gotten up at that point, but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him continue. He had me turned away from the mirror so I couldn't really tell what was going on. But, I kind of had the feeling that what he was doing wasn't what I asked for. Sure enough I got a basic taper. I'm so glad I didn't let him touch my beard.
